The Stone House Cafe is a cut above the rest. We went relatively early on a Sunday morning (8:30) so there were plenty tables available, but if you plan on going a bit later for a nice Sunday brunch, it's best to make reservations. We...More

My hubby and I went here for our anniversary dinner. Lovely restaurant! He had the special, stuffed salmon, and I had the lamb shank with risotto. We were very happy. Sat on the patio on a Saturday evening at 5:30 so didn't get the ambiance...More

While in Reno, NV on a short business trip, I was recommended to the Stone House Cafe for dinner. Although it was a warm 100+ degrees night, the outdoor seating area provided shade and a pleasant breeze cooled the area. My waitress was very helpful...More

This is a WONDEFUL place to dine outside with your pet - in our case our dog, Zorro - a great menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you are in Reno, and it isn't a 100 degree day we definitely recommend STONE HOUSE.

Attentive, and well managed . . . great outdoor ambiance (not so much inside.) A very capable kitchen with a gigantic menu, capable, knowledgeable servers and a very nice experience. Been there many times and they never disappoint.

Terrific place for Sunday brunch! Extensive menu, but beware, there's always a lot of specials. The outdoor seating is the best, beautiful plantings. Staff is friendly. They only take reservations the day of, so you can't call ahead. Favorites include their crab quesadilla, fruit crepes....More

Had a really good breakfast, quite an extensive offering. We had crepes, crab omelette, eggs benedict and waffles. I’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Reno. Don’t be in a rush this isn’t fast food, but worth the wait.

If this restaurant was in Southern California it would certainly be a spot for high tea in the afternoons. The garden area is extremely well done and very inviting. The inside could use a facelift but there’s nothing wrong with it. I came for dinner...More

Crab Louie salad for lunch, they’re fantastic. Sit outside when the weather allows, it’s beautiful. Great for an evening out with friends, family or a date. The service has been consistently good for years which speaks to the conscience ownership. Highly recommended.
