Absolutely spectacular. Was looking for a great meal and did not disappoint. We tried the Foie Gras, grilled octopus, steak tartare, hamachi, baked lobster and pork buns. The pork buns were mind blowing good. Fantastic prime ribeye for dinner. Would definitely eat here again.

Good location on South Virginia St., easy street parking, restaurant decor reflects the imagination of the owners shown in the menu items. Good service, a fun visit, and some unique food offerings. Recommend the experience, and the price in a fancier location would be much higher.

Food was very Good. Very nice restaurant. Their on line web site and menu are out of date. When went there base on the online information. The restaurant was totally different then what appears online. That being said the food was still very good

We had out of town guests and based on previous visits we took them to LuLou's. There were 4 of us and we each ordered an appetizer and an entrée. Some of the appetizers were wonderful and 2 were just ok. Two of the entrees were so overcooked they were tough. I ordered my Veal medium rare and it was well done and so dry I could barely eat it. One of our guests ordered the Duck and had the same experience. The entrées were $61 each. We told the waitress and all she did was to apologize. Based on our previous experience I sent an e-mail on their website where the owner said he would welcome comments and did not review them online. I sent 2 e-mails and never received a response. I checked my junk mail to make sure I did not miss it. I gave them an opportunity to respond and at least apologize. A meal with wine for 4 people that was over $400 should have been cooked correctly. I will add a photo of the Scallop entrée that was wonderful but not the horrible Veal and Duck!

Great environment, friendly staff, absolute worst vegetarian options I’ve seen in years. Do not eat here if you don’t eat animals. 3 carrots is their idea of a vegetarian dish. It is tasty, however. I am sure they have the skill to make great dishes if they so chose.

Always a treat to go to Lulou’s. It’s hands down my favorite “take out of towners” and date night restaurant in Reno. Amazing menu and perfectly paced meals. Make sure to have a cocktail in the beautiful stemware.

We've been going to LuLou's since it opened but hadn't been for awhile. The food is still as good, as is the service but it is much too noisy for a fine dining experience.

It’s been a couple months since visit and I will give a more general and not specific review. We shared numerous delicious appetizers that were unique. I ordered a Sapphire Gin Dirty Martini which was average. My main course was Ribeye Steak and it was excellent. We also ordered Red Wine and it was good. Desert was also very good. Most importantly, everybody enjoyed their meals and had a great time. I recommend Lulou’s, but be prepared for the check. As the old saying goes, “You get what you pay for” and with that thought in mind Lulou’s did deliver.

Tables are packed in tight but it works. Plates run $40 to $55 each but are very tasty. Service was top notch.

The best meal I’ve had in Reno, excellent ingredients and preparation, genuine service really liked the wine selections and at a table of four all dishes were extremely delicious

The food is superb and the prices reflect that! $$$$$ is what the cost of eating here so you will try this place once and think about returning. But try it, you must. The decor and service are like the food-excellent. Just e willing to pay for it all.

My wife and I ate here last night to celebrate a professional accomplishment. We are Reno locals and decided to treat ourselves. Were were disappointed. The flavors of the food (except desert) were outstanding, but they use WAY too much salt. My wife and I were up all night drinking water. The desert (a butterscotch putting) was too sweet to eat more than a bite and the cake underneath was rock hard. Essentially inedible. The wine list is OK, but not sufficient for a restaurant in this price range. The service was very impersonal, robotic, and slow. We waited 15 minutes for our check, and I finally got up and asked the hostess. In addition, the tables are really crammed together. I was at a small table near the window, and I had to keep my legs tucked under me (I’m 6’3”) during the meal. It was uncomfortable, like being on an airplane. I talked to the hostess (Lynn) about all of this, and she was apologetic. The bill, with a bottle of wine and tip,was about $300, for a shared ap, two dinners, one soup, one salad. I’m not sure that we will be back anytime soon. Maybe it was just an off night...
