Had Everything from sushi bar out front, high-end dining inside along with a piano bar. Unfortunately didn’t get to experience the piano bar due to still Covid conditions but the food was excellent. Had steak and scallops!!

We had a 1:30 reservation for brunch. I was excited to eat at the restaurant since I heard it was great. I was very disappointed! Roxy should be ashamed for the food I was given. When asked for bread, we were given a selection of...2 tiny croissants and Danish pastry. I ordered a Beet salad with chicken. It was mostly lettuce, 3 small pieces of pickled onion no bigger than a quarter and 5 pieces of beets. The chicken was hard as a rock and super dry. I sent it back with the waiter since it must have been prepared a week ago. The small entree was over $25! Additionally, upon arrival, our waiter did not tell us that some entrees were no longer available and put us on the spot to pick quickly for another option. There was a selection of deserts at a buffet table but by the time we were able to go enjoy, there was the worst leftovers for us. ONE Petit Four and a mess of some chocolate covered cream puffs for another day. It was so disappointing! Roxy should be ASHAMED of themselves for charging outrageous prices for bad food and lack of dessert.More

It's the steakhouse, an upscale dining venue. It looks good and benefits from the live music at the bar next door. Prices are high, so be prepared. I ordered 2 starters and that was plenty of food, and everything was delicious. Adequate service. Romantic.

The food is generally okay but overpriced. Do NOT order the Ceasar Salad, the worst we've ever had. Basically, six pieces of lettuce, sprinkled with cheese, with a very small piece of Parmesan Toast that had a couple of very small anchovies on it. Two...of those, plus two glasses of wine, came to $53.00. We will NOT be ordering that again! However, Albert is the BEST WAITER EVER! He makes going there worthwhile. We always ask for him!More

I stoped by with my family and everyone had some thing negative to say. The calimary was chewy and rubbery. The potatoes where dry and had way to much aromatics on them. The steaks where not terrible but not up to the price In my...opinion. The best part about the meal was the virgin strawberry dacory probably the best smoothie I have ever had. The worst part was price vs quality. If this was $100 dollar dinner it would be average but considering we played double that I cant justify a 3 star rateing. I do have to say our server was real nice so that's a plus.More

The decor of the restaurant is attractive and would would be good for date night. The service was attentive and friendly. They offer different areas with different vibes. The menu options are diverse and reasonably priced. The main I tried was very good!! They had...live music by the bar - low key and good. A few couples danced from time to time. The bar area is good as well and they offer a full menu. Favorite dinner on the Row. Recommended reservations on the weekends. Recommended l!More

Coffee and pastry, very good selections very good price. Ate their every morning and really enjoy it. Will continue going for my 4 day trip.

We were staying at the Eldorado hotel and had dinner here and it was great. everything was very good from drinks to desert. The staff were very attentive and did a good job. We will return on our next trip to Reno.

I last wrote a review on Roxy in December of 2017, and now that we have moved to Reno, this was our first time back. We went mid-week, without reservations, and we were able to be seated in a table that was not exactly the...best for a quiet night out, in that it was out in the center of the room. Although our table was not the best, we didn't have to wait for it, and Sam, our server, and the great food more than made up for the location. The sourdough and olive bread served before the meal was excellent, and set the tone for a very nice meal. We had the Verlasso salmon and petite filet, and both were cooked to perfection! The chef hit both out of the park. The sauces on both were delicious. And huge kudos to Sam who was serving a table of 10+ people behind us, as well as a couple of others around us, but he was attentive and provided the right amount of service. He answered questions and made us glad we had a table in his section. Our location did provide a good view of some of the meal preparations, and one particular benefit was watching the chef make up some desserts that were greeted by the guests at the table with absolute delight. (They were some kind of dessert in glasses). We are confident that The Roxy is a solid choice for a night out to impress, and again, thanks to Sam for providing outstanding service and making our evening just what we needed.More

I used to love dinners at the Roxy while enjoying solid lounge music any night of the week. But post-COVID, I just heard there will only be music twice a month. So I will no longer be staying at the El Dorado, or coming to...Reno at all. Instead, I will head to Las Vegas, where solid lounge acts still can still be found. Truly, lounges are my favorite activity at the Nevada casinos. The musical talent you can find is remarkable. So it grieves me that many lounges don't seem to be coming back post-COVID. Fortunately, there are still a few to be found in Las Vegas. The 'Piazza Lounge' at the Tuscany still has solid music 5 nights a week, for example. So that's where I'm going next. What a shame about the Roxy -- it used to be so good. The steaks were killer -- expensive, but worth it. The music brought the people in, which made the scene really fun. And not just on weekends; a Tuesday could be as packed and fun as a Saturday. But all of this is no more, apparently. What a bummer.More

We have had many fabulous meals here and can't wait to go back. The staff is always great and the food is superb.

It’s a good steakhouse. Wife got the lemon chicken, it was really good. Strong lemon flavor. I got the rib eye. It was good too. Not a huge menu, but you’ll find something. Staff was nice.
