Hit this place for breakfast. Best ever. Food is delicious and service is excellent. It’s a small local diner feel with top notch food and service. Portions are generous and food was always prepared exactly as ordered.

My family and I have been dining at the Purple Parrot restaurant for years and have had nothing but excellent service. We are always cordially greeted by Manager Debbie Jasmer and her fantastic team of workers. Debbie is courteous, cheerful, fun and tends to my families dining needs in a very professional manner as well as runs a very efficient crew of workers as can easily be visualized by watching them. Thank you very much Debbie Jasmer for always being out on the floor with the workers tending to tables, and the needs of your guests and making our visits so enjoyable. Dear Atlantis Casino, please!! commend Debbie Jasmer for going over and above and excellent customer service. Thank You very much.

Really great pancakes, gluten free blueberry. No weird taste due to the lack of gluten. The blueberries had real taste unlike lots of other blueberries. Side of bacon, done just right, not cooked into eternity.
Friendly service.
Mondays is discount day if you have a reward players card... 50% off.

We were on a mini vacation for husband’s birthday and went to the purple parrot and the service was horrible as was the food. Husband ordered biscuits and gravy and they didn’t open biscuits they just put 2 biscuits on plate and slopped gravy over the biscuits. I ordered the veggie omelette and wanted the veggies grilled with no oil and “the waiter argued with me that it wouldn’t be a
Pretty omelette without them sautéing the veggies in oil”. I finally agreed to light oil which didn’t happen. Mine came with Hash-browns and toast. The Hash-browns tasted stale and freezer burned and the toast was hardly toasted and no butter on it. Joseph our server was the worst took them at least 15 min to get our drink orders and then another 10 to get it to us and when he took drink orders never asked us if we were ready to order which we were and didn’t give us a chance to do so after we said drinks he just walked off. We finally ordered when he brought the drinks and after being argued with placed our order. It took another 20 minutes to get food and like I said it was horrible. We could understand a delay if they were busy but there was less than a dozen people in the restaurant and multiple servers. As we were staying in the hotel. Definitely will not go back next time in town. Will find a decent breakfast place.

We went on a Saturday morning, so it was busy. We waited for a table for about 20 minutes. I ordered the only gluten free breakfast item, pancakes. I had high hopes based on reviews. The portions were large, but my pancakes were undercooked with raw batter in the center. I could only eat the edges. The syrup amount provided was also very meager. Our waitress checked on us once and asked if we needed anything, but didn’t really give me a chance to answer and clearly didn’t look at my plate of raw pancake batter. As we paid up front, I let the worker who appeared to be a manager know. My husband enjoyed his breakfast burrito and potatoes, but he had to request ketchup. Oh, and the environment is smoky since it’s on the casino floor. Once was enough. There are other good places a walkable distance from the casino.

We ate here for breakfast on the day of leaving yesterday. I ordered the sourdough bread & also bagels/cream cheese (due to some religious dietary restrictions) while my mom ordered a waffle. Both of us enjoyed our food. The portion size of the bread was a bit more than I expected, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. The bagels were also good but could not finish when I thought I would.
The price is very reasonable compared to most 4-star hotel restaurants I have ever eaten for breakfast. I highly recommend it.
I will surely try the waffle, french toast or even pancakes the next time I stay at Atlantis or have at the Purple Parrot. Great restaurant and service and everything came in very timely.

Open 24 hours , this fabulous dining venue is always a “ sure bet” !! The menu has selections for a myriad of tastes and appetites . Classic favorites to “ out of the box “ creations , the food is always hot and delicious . The wait staff is top notch !

This spot is only for drunk people, I went there to celebrate my birthday and the food was terrible, me and my friends paid 80 dollars for the actual worst food I have ever had in my life where they clearly microwave their old chicken and use old products for new customers as our bread was hard as a rock, my chicken was basically rubber with breading not even attached to it and the grosses chicken Parmesan sauce ever, and the nachos somehow taste like mint, the only thing acceptable was the mozzarella sticks and the tomato soup. Only highlight was my amazing waitress Jennifer who did her best to resolve my problems and tried to ensure my food tasted right, which somehow came back disgusting every time even through her best efforts. The only reason I would ever come back would be to give Jennifer money and spit at the chefs that made my food

Purple Parrot continues to be one of my favorite places to enjoy a casual dinner when I am in Reno. Food is always excellent and meticulously presented. Service is always friendly and professional. A host/manager makes it a point to drop by to see if we need anything. Our dinner at the Purple Parrot on Thanksging Eve, Nov 23, was everything and more.

After being stranded in Reno due to airplane issues, we found ourselves staying at the Reno Atlantis Hotel for two extra nights. So, we used a few of the Hotel's many dining options but found the Purple Parrot Restaurant as being 5 Stars for exceptional food quality, ambience, service, and choice of menu options. Check it out when in Reno.

Jennifer was professional and very pleasant and the service was great as my food came out in a timely manner, it was hot and well presented. Drink refills quickly and I didn’t have to wait to get the check and make my payment..
I actually had breakfast for dinner, which is a really nice thing about the purple parrot and that they serve breakfast 24 hours a day

The pancakes seemed cooked hours earlier, were almost too tough to cut through (never imagined previously that a pancake could be tough). The syrup was so congealed that you could turn the pitcher upside down and nothing dropped out, defying the laws of gravity. How many hours in advance were those little pitchers prepared? The eggs were right, the hash browns were of somewhat recent vintage, the steak was OK. I was never offered a coffee refill.
Our own mistake: Allowing ourselves to be seated right at the entrance, so we had to suffer the tobacco smoke from the casino.

Stopped in to get dinner after the Alabama vs. Ohio State game and was, as always, most pleased with the food and service. That particular evening I was warmly greeted by Marcus, the restaurant manager. Whenever he is on duty it means that my visit will be especially enjoyable. Marcus and his team including, but not limited to, David and Erika made a great meal even better by providing outstanding service. I rarely have to ask for anything extra because they have an uncanny ability to anticipate a guest's needs.

Gracious professional management ensures quality experience. Manager/Host Vipul always makes guests feel special. Danielle provided excellent service, while her charming manner enhanced the occasion. Our dinner of ribeye steak was cooked to perfection, and the tomato bisque was delicious. Great food and a comfortable, friendly atmosphere can be enjoyed here any time of night or day.
