Rapscallion Seafood House and Bar is an independently owned and operated seafood and steak house. For over 40 years this local landmark has been setting the bar for Reno's culinary scene. Rapscallion was the first restaurant to win the wine spectators award of excellence and continues this tradition today with a wine cellar packed with premier wines from around the world. The Rapscallion has been newly updated and the iconic stained glass bar continues to please with one of Reno's longest happy hours six days a week. What a great find! Off the strip, independent restaurant. Best seafood and service was spectacular. Horseradish crusted halibut great! Ciopino was a different recipe, lots of tomatos.

I took eight people out for dinner. With all eating either steak or lobster, four bottles of wine, several drinks and dessert. we were out with less than $600 including a large tip. Don't miss this if you go to Reno. Make reservations!!

Happy hour is from 4:00 to 6:30 PM and then at 8:30 PM. The restaurant portion of Rapscallion opens at 5:00.
