Had a delicious dinner at Beaujolais Bistro. We started with cocktails and appetizers. Their specialty drinks are deelish. The Pork Belly is not to be missed. So succulent and tender. The Foie Gras Pate was divine. My husband had the salad with the hazelnuts. I had to try several bites it was sooo good. He had the stuffed pork chop... More

Beaujolais Bistro is authentic and delicious. Drinks are great and the wine list wonderful. This was our 4th time visiting in the year that we've lived here and I've yet to be disappointed. The bistro has a very busy vibe so if you're looking for quiet and secluded seating, this isn't necessarily for you. Go for the food and drink-... More

Very good food and service. The location is also very nice right along a creek. This definitely doesn't feel like a typical Reno restaurant. Definitely a class above.

It is so difficult to rate these restaurants that are above average in Reno, but not so worldwide. I would also say, it would rate them towards average given the price paid (my expectations for a hanger steak frites are just much higher at $35, both for the meat and the fries!), but Beaujolais is certainly better than average in... The food was the best I think we've ever had in a restaurant. Duck confit, bluenose bass, onion soup, and more, all delicious and attractively presented. Service was friendly but not intrusive, efficient and attentive. The restaurant facility is lovely, airy and open but at the same time an intimate feel at the table. In its previous life it looks... We've been here to dine several times now. The food has always been great, along with the wine list and service. When the weather is better, we have eaten outside on tables set on the grass.

We had dinner here on Dec 22, 2016. Our waiter was a pro who knew the menu and wine list perfectly. The chef also came by the table to visit during the meal, a nice touch. The menu is small but excellent. The highlight of the dinner was their Cassoulet. It was the best I have had in the US.... More

Beaujolais Bistro has become our "go to" for special occasions. We have enjoyed the food and service in the past, so we reserved a table a few weeks in advance, got all dressed up and arrived a few minutes early. We were told we couldn't have our table because it was set for four. We have never heard this before,... More

Wow. How's that for a review? Ok, maybe you want a bit more info... The service is top notch; you always feel like your needs are being attended to, but not in an overtly obnoxious way. Someone is always nearby and available, so you don't feel like you've got to go looking for somebody if you need something. Very nice... More

The most important thing to relate on our fourth visit is how fantastic the chicken in cream sauce with morels was. It was sublime, the perfect cream sauce. I can never get it this good at home. The service was great. They fixed an issue quickly with out a problem. The martinis were perfect. Love this place. What a welcome... More

Description
Chef Bill Gilbert's charming French style bistro in downtown Reno celebrates authentic French cooking as well as modern interpretation of French cuisine.

We serve Niman Ranch beef, lamb, and pork, Liberty Duck, and much of our organic produce is sourced locally including wild and exotic mushrooms from Connie Green.

Our extensive bar and wine list is available early for your pleasure. Outdoor seating is also available seasonally. Private dining arrangements are available on request.

We are proud to be voted "Reno's Best French Restaurant" for over a decade, and "Reno's Most Romantic Restaurant" in 2014 by the Reno News & Review.
