My wife & I visited twice during our recent stay at the Silver Legacy Resort & Casino. Our servers were Victoria the first night and Keith the second night. The Corona Virus was keeping customers away from all businesses and the entire staff expressed gratitude for our business. Victoria showed great restraint dealing with two difficult customers at a nearby table that sent their food back to the kitchen 3-4 times between the two of them. One of them may have left a poor review on this site. I can say from my perspective they were simply ungrateful troublemakers looking for a free meal. My only reason for mentioning this is Victoria was able to deal with these two idiots and still provide us with top notch service. The food was some of the best Italian I have experienced between San Francisco, Las Vegas, & New Orleans.
Keith took care of our needs on the second visit and it was obvious he too takes his position seriously. He made thoughtful suggestions and provided extra seasoning on the side based on my casual comments. Both of these professionals truly care about their clients and maintaining the highest level of service. Victoria even remembered us and stopped by to visit. She also suggested a wonderful wine from Ferrari-Carano Winery that will probably result in a winery visit once the Corona virus worries subside. I hope to see both of them on our next visit.

The hosts, the service, THE FOOD. If you're not sure what food to order, ask your server what they suggest and their reply will be, "Trust me." And trust me, they do not disappoint.
The wine pairings recommended by the staff is top of the line. You truly feel as if you are family the second you step into the venue. This is home.

Upon arrival to the restaurant we were greeted by a very friendly hostess and were promptly seated. Our reservations were for 7:15 and with as busy as La Strada was I would always recommend reservations.
The waiter had a quirky sense of humor and took very good care of us both with entertainment and attentiveness to our dining needs. Food came out perfectly timed between courses and we were not rushed in any manner.
La Strada really is a first class dining experience and you should plan on enjoying your time while there. We will back!
PS. I personally enjoyed the Pappardelle Bolognese, it was made in house and was a big hit with my taste buds.

located within the silver legacy, la strada is a hidden gem featuring 5-star service and top notch Italian food. mushroom ravioli to die for! our server, keith was professional and knowledgeable of the menu, even suggested really good wine pairings. off the chart service. Italian food is what it is, but their house (freshly) made pastas are very good and the attention to detail is arguably the best you'll get in RNO. there's a few limits due to the ongoing COVID pandemic but that's not anything you can fault them for, and you'd be hard pressed to find any restaurant better at accommodations with respect to CDC guidelines, as well as guest comfort and services. Excellent!

The restaurant is very attractive and offers a good selection of different seating choices.
The service is friendly, professional, and attentive : )
The menu offers a good selection of choices and the prices are good/fair for a nice restaurant.
The fish I had was perfectly cooked. The dish was creative and very well balanced. The textures and flavors played well together. A very appetizing presentation as well.
It was an excellent dining experience.
Would be great for a date night.

Delightful place. Lively atmosphere and wonderful staff. Bread basket was so tasty. Wine menu was great. Waiter suggested an appetizer that was not on menu and it was delicious. Recommend the mushroom ravioli, just an excellent choice. View had baked ziti and husband had a crab dish. Topped off the meal with their pistachio gelato. Amazing !! Reservations probably a must !!!

Let me start off with the positive: great customer service by the check in staff and wait staff: friendly, professional, and attentive.
The ambiance/music playing was atrocious. If you're into stereotyped "I"talian music that's really hokey and very stereotypical Italian, then good. I was tired of hearing the line "That's amore" for the 100th time during my one hour stay.
Now onto the food: underwhelming
Buttered Bread: Good, the only positive of the food.
Charred Octopus: It definitely was charred/overcooked.
Caesar Salad: That was messed up. Had a sour taste. It screwed up a Caesar salad.
Mushroom Ravioli: Overrated and very bland (according to it's La Strada's website: This dish, named by Food Network’s 2019 list of the "Best Pastas in the Country," is a favorite at La Strada. Don't stop there, there's so much more on the menu to experience).
Risotto & Scallops for $40: 3 under cooked scallops with underwhelming risotto.
If you want to get ripped off for what's supposed to be a fine dining experience and have your taste buds and stomach not feeling great, then come to La Starda.

My husband, myself and 4 of my children decided to eat at La Strada in Reno Nevada to celebrate my 23rd wedding anniversary. I was beyond impressed with the service and food. When we arrived I was asked if we were celebrating anything. I told them yes that it was my anniversary. We were taken to a private room, given a complimentary glass of champagne. After we ordered our food our waiter wiped mine and my husbands hands with a wash towel. When our food arrived we were feed the first bite. After we finished our food our waiter then wiped our hands again. We were then served a complimentary dessert. I felt like a queen that day. Thank you so much for the wonderful service.

My family has been dining at La Strada for probably around 15 years now and have always enjoyed excellent food, ambiance, and service. It is our restaurant of choice for birthdays, anniversaries, and just generally whenever we want to enjoy Italian food and a nice night out. My family’s menu favorites are osso buco, seafood linguini, veal parmigiana, mushroom ravioli, fettuccine alfredo, and pappardelle bolognese (which my father always orders as a side no matter how much other food we have).
Whenever we come we always request Keith, our wonderful waiter. He is extremely attentive and truly goes the extra mile to make everyone at the table feel comfortable and super entertained!
I have such fond memories of going to La Strada ever since I was a little kid, and now that I’m going away for college in the Fall, it’s somewhere I’ll genuinely miss. Highly recommend, and if you do visit, be sure to say hi to Keith!

We had previously heard that this restaurant was known for some of the best pasta in the nation so we had pretty high expectations going in. Our reservation was at 6:00pm and we were seated immediately along with the other 8 in our party. Keith our waiter introduced himself and recognized that one of our party was disabled with special needs for eating and asked what the restaurant could do to assist, even offering to purée the meal as well as asked if they needed a straw for his drink (our friends said this is the first time in 42 years anyone has ever asked what they could do to assist with preparing the meal to make things easier). From the beginning to the end of the meal Keith attention to detail was impeccable. His assistant waiter Christopher was there with anything we needed, keeping our drinks topped off, bread bowl full, coffee filled. He even sang Happy Birthday to one of our group and it was just beautiful, he later told us that he was not classically trained but I’m telling you that you would never know if you heard him. The food was delicious and perfectly prepared.

We were one the first diners on the first day the restaurant reopened. Everything was excellent! The server apologized at the beginning saying he'd been away 5 months and he might be rusty. He didn't have to apologize. Service and food was perfect

Mushroom Ravioli's, romantic ambiance and excellent wine list makes for a wonderful evening at La Strada. Lasagna and the wrapped prawns are also delicious. The raviolis set the bar almost too high and I rarely stray towards other items on the menu but all dishes we have tried here have always has hushed the table with folks enjoying the food!

I guess we hit them on an off night. Service was quirky. First off, some of the food was delicious. Highly recommend the mushroom ravioli. The Caesar was ok and the mains alright. The main issue for us was service. A lot of misses, like forgetting our bread, failing to replace utensils, dirty dishes not removed and just a time when we never saw the server or had to flag somebody down to get something. Came with high expectations and they didn’t live up to the, tonight. Manager did stop by at end of the meal and was courteous and removed the undercooked pasta and a couple of drinks which was awesome. To do without asking. I’d like to try again. With all the good reviews I hope we just hit an unfortunate night. As issues started mounting it just become more difficult to let it go.

Bestie hosted a dinner with a party of 19 people and it was one of the best nights of my life. We had a full 3-course meal with various dishes such as shrimp risotto, mushroom ravioli, steak, chicken, salmon, caesar salad, and tiramisu. The mushroom ravioli was the best thing I have ever tasted. I would literally eat it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, 7 days a week. It is that good they put their whole La Strada SOUL into that ravioli. The service was great, they put napkins on our lap and scooted our chairs in. They even fed the birthday boys at our table! Keith was an excellent server and I highly reccomend him.

This restaurant reminds me of the Italian restaurants in the North Beach district in San Francisco. Their menu was excellent. I would recommend their Osco Buco (lamb shanks)< this dish is reasonably price and is very meaty. Their pasta dishes are excellent as well as their veal dishes. The only thing that was disappointing was the fact they do not Suporiom (italian ice cream). I highly recommend this restaurant compared to the surrounding restaurants.
