We have been dinning at the Deli for years, the food was always good so we would visit several times a week, however we have noticed that the portions have been reduced recently and the prices have increased.
In that time, we got to know a bus girl who was always busy cleaning and clearing tables/booths for the next guest, her name is Rossana. Always courteous, with a smile on her face. Two years ago, we along with many other customers encouraged her to become a waitress which she did.
She is just a lovely personable lady who provides very quick service and always checks to see if you need anything, no matter how busy she is. She is an absolute credit to the Manhatton Deli and The Atlantis Hotel-Casino. We have recommended the Deli and her to many people over the years. She is the very BEST.

So, we've never actually eaten in the restaurant. We always sit at the sports bar and order food, which comes from the Manhattan Deli Restaurant. We love the food. We have ordered, The Manhattan Melt, Munster Bacon Burger, Corned Beef and Cabbage, The Roasted Half Chicken, Italian Meatball Sandwich, Chili Dog (I order it with the chili on the side), Pesto Strips, Pizza, Buffalo Chicken Wings, The Manhattan Trio Salad, Chicken Walnut & Grape Salad, Chili, Loaded Potato Soup, Broccoli Cheddar Soup, Beef Barley Soup, Malts, Meatballs, and Fries. Nothing disappoints! Sometimes the fries seem old, soggy, or cold, but most of the time they are crisp and delicious. The food usually comes out quick and very hot (if what I ordered was a hot item). My friend loves their Fish & Chips and says she has never had bad service. The restaurant itself has many tables and is very open. We just prefer to sit at the bar, gamble a little and watch the games at the sports bar. Give it a try, you won't be sorry. I promise I'll take pictures in the future.

This spot is amazing. I was struggling with feeding my kids dinner and they were very understanding of my budget and covered my expenses I’m beyond greatful as well as my kids. I couldn’t thank them enough and felt blessed entirely. And the food was a 10/10 huge thank you to the manager and my waiter Matthew. Thank you guys and may god bless you during your many years of life.

The following review does not adequately convey the disappointment my husband and I feel about our Christmas dinner, 2024.
We spent a great deal of time planning our stay at the Atlantis Hotel in Reno. We went to celebrate Christmas and our 25th wedding anniversary. We looked forward to having our Christmas dinner at the Manhattan Deli, and went a little early. We probably should have left after we were kept waiting more than 30 minutes for our main course, but we were enjoying people watching. Evidently, our order was lost in the kitchen, and there was not enough staff, management or waitstaff, to take care of the number of customers/diners who were there. We were offered a special dessert to compensate for the long, wait time, but when our dinners arrived, the asparagus was woody, the potatoes were dried and cold, and the gravy drowned the fillet. Needless to say, we did not finish our meal. One of our meals was comped. Quite frankly, both meals should have been comped. In discussing this situation, we think that not only was the restaurant understaffed, there was no adequate supervision by management personnel, and the kitchen staff was not prepared to cook and serve the regular menu and the Christmas dinner. It was just too much. Color us Disgusted!”

My wife and I were looking forward to a visit to the Manhattan Deli, having visited a couple of deli’s in New York City during trips. We had high expectations. We couldn’t be more disappointed with our visit to the Manhattan Deli. I ordered an Italian sub sandwich. The sandwich came with a slice of regular ham, a slice of salami and lots of turkey. My favorite sandwich has always been an Itallian sub; I have ordered a countless number of them in my lifetime, but I have never ever been served one with turkey. The worst of it was that it did not come any Italian dressing on it, so it was very dry. Also, on the sandwich was tomato, onion and a side of banana peppers which looked like they came from the bottom of the jar. If that wasn’t bad enough, my wife ordered Shrimp Louis Salad; it stated in the menu that it came with tomatoes and olives. The salad arrived and my wife and I could not believe our eyes! There were two cherry tomatoes and two olives with the shrimp on a bed of lettuce. The was one hard-boiled egg on it, sliced in half. And that was it for the so called Shrimp Louis Salad. We are shocked that this establishment is rated so high. The service was also less than one would expect in the age of expected tipping of 15% to 22% for servers.

The waiter took about 10+ minutes to acknowledge us,then after asking for our drink order she went off to help someone else. We waited a good 20 minutes to get out drink we ordered then. Another server brought us our food, the food was good but again we were not asked how our food was or if we need anything. We finish our meal and watch the server run around but not bring our bill. A nice lady came by and got our plates. Finally after 30+ minutes my husband asked another server if we could have our bill. After our server heard us ask for a bill she stops at our table and asks if we want cheesecake and after saying no just the bill. she hands over the bill. To say we are NOT impressed. She takes our bill with credit card and goes to another table ???? EXCUSE ME!!!! We finally got our card back and did not leave a tip or nothing and we will not be back again.
Husband only got 1 small cup of coffee and it was $4.00!!!

Thank you Deedee for being so attentive to my rowdy family!!! We couldn’t decide what to order but our server explained the menu and recommended Delicious dishes for our individual cravings!!! Family friendly!! A great variety of food!!! Huge portions!! Love this place!!

From the outside to inside of the cake it was all perfect! The cake is so delicious as well and was able to follow the request i made. Big Thank You to Chef Kayline Johnson for such a great customer service from filling out the order form to ordering all the way to picking up you assisted me. Such a great experience. Our server, Rossana, was really great. We came to Manhattan Deli 2 nights ago and came back again for another dinner meal. I ordered the Creole Pasta, which has a creamy, tomato sauce (orange colored sauce) cooked with white wine, for both times I came. The 2nd time I came, the pasta wasn't made the same. My pasta had more of a marinara, red tomato sauce, but the other day I came, the sauce was different and was creamier and had a slight wine taste. I asked Rossana if it was supposed to be like that, and she immediately knew it wasn't made correctly. She helped us get the dish remade, and it was great. The manager came out and offered us free desserts/pastries as an apology. The service and food were great, and this is a restaurant we come to every so often. Try to give this place a chance if you're in the area!

Chicken Noodle Soup at the Atlantis Manhattan Deli is FIRST RATE, Wholesome & Healing, the best Jewish Penicillin in town! So is the service and super cleanliness of the place. Bowl $7.00 - a Bargain.
What a fantastic selection of food and desert items.
Dee Dee was my Server, she is GREAT!
I'll be back soon, most likely for a Corned Beef Rueben Sandwich. I'm going to ask to sit in Dee Dee's station.

The manhattan deli is great place for a casual dinner. They have a good variety on their menu but my favorite has to be the pastrami sandwiches and you can’t forget to order a slice of their amazing cheesecake. The food is great but the service is really what makes going to the deli a great experience. I like to ask for Mariela because she always provides fast and excellent service.

On September 30th of 2022 I had a dine in order of liver and onions, and a large to go order. The liver and onions had only two small slices of liver, and four slices of bacon, which is less than half the size of this meal for the last ten plus years. The rack of lamb to go order was $36.00, and had only 3 lamb ribs! The pastrami sandwich ended up being a turkey sandwich when we got home and unwrapped it. I checked the to go order before I left Manhattan Deli and found that the apple pie was missing. Server got me a pie. I have been dining at Manhattan Deli for over ten years and I am very disapointed with the service, price hikes, and new half portion meal sizes. A manager was not available to talk to before I departed.

My husband and I have lived in Reno for the last 19 years and I’ve always enjoyed going to the Manhattan deli always good service good food this time. It was not so good. I think it’s gone down. The tubes of food was good but service has gone down. French fries were cold and old. No refills on water no asking if there’s anything else we need no pickles and they used to give you when you sat down, so sorry it was one of our favorites.

This deli produces consistently good food and has some of the best pizza in the area. What makes the dining experience especially enjoyable is the great group of servers. Every server is knowledgeable and professional; however, if one is looking for exceptional service from someone who goes the extra mile and who always wears an infectious smile, please ask for Rossana.
