Sorry to say, this was disappointing for us celebrating more than 30+ years of marriage as our last stop camping with our RV before returning home to Bay Area. Being from Tokyo I miss fresh seafood, sashimi and sushi when we are traveling in the...US esp outside of Bay Area or LA. Of the two sushi ie nigiri pieces we ordered, ika ie squid was fine but hotate ie scallops was a joke. Tiny nigiri using what looked more like bay scallops for hotate nigiri. A little 4 year old could have put the whole thing in mouth to eat. For main meal, I ordered stew of crab. Big mistake! It was ultra sweet and I could only eat few mouthfuls leaving behind the bowl. I tried to scoop out sone crab, douse with soy sauce and wasabi that came with nigiri sushi to kill the sickly sweet taste but gave up after few bites. I asked my husband what he ordered that night and he cannot remember. Umm, that says it was so average he has no memory of it. Neither do I. The service was hood. Not sure about their complimentary bread bowl either. It was just ok. Our price tor two came out &123.37 without tax.More

We enjoy having lunch at Sky Terrace Oyster and Sushi Bar. We always make sure that Grace is working and enjoy sitting in her section. Grace has always been very kind and very attentive to our needs. We are visiting our daughter and she was so excited to take us to her favorite restaurant in town!! We had Grace to serve us and she was wonderful, she actually has formed a good relationship with our daughter since she eats here frequently and...was delighted to be able to serve us as first time customers. My daughter had the all you can sushi and my husband and I ordered from the menu. Presentation was beautiful, the sushi was delicious (also first time ever trying it) and Grace took good care of us. This is a great restaurant. Amazing food; I had Sushi and the Calamari Strips. So fresh. Best Sushi I have had anywhere. The restaurant is very clean, professional and friendly staff.

We love this restaurant. The service is always responsive. We just went again and Fernando Lomeli was our server and he assisted with our Saki selection and was very attentive. When we return we will ask for Fernando to be our server.

Don't get me wrong. The food was not bad, but #1! I hope not. First, the restaurant is in a casino and you can still smell cigarette smoke, which affects the eating experience. Second , the sushi was heavy on rice and lean on fish....Finally, the pasta was covered with heavy oily cream that was just too much for our pallet.More

First time here in several years. My wife had the pan roast and I had two appetizers: the fried calamari and the tempura battered asparagus. All entries were good. But I would say it falls short from the restaurant's rating as the number one restaurant...in Reno. The service and setting were excellent.More

Delightful room with a great waiter, Fernando Lomeli. This is one of the top two sushi restaurants in all the Country, and my favorite in Reno. The slices of fish are twice as large as most sushi bars, and the miso soup has plentiful ingredients....Fish is fresh and service top notch plus is not smoky smelling.More

I went here for lunch today they had amazing sushi each roll had its own flavor and was mouth watering I also had potstickers as the appetizer they were very very good. My waitresses name was Grace she is amazing and was very attentive not...only to me but all the tables around us was extremely professional and interacting with her guests I would come back just to sit in her section and whoever is making the sushi did an amazing job as I review all the time on Yelp and I've been to many sushi restaurants and this is by far the best one in Reno. I would highly recommend that if you enjoy sushi and you're coming to Reno this is a must stop and eat and for being in a casino it was very quiet and I have asthma and I could not smell smoke at all. Also it's family friendly it's a separate entrance than the casino.More

We were so grateful to be treated to lunch by friends in this restaurant. We have lived here in Reno for a few years and did not know about this Sky Terrace which sits over the South Virginia street attached to the Atlantis. We started...out by sharing the delicious crab cakes for appetizers. I thoroughly enjoyed their seafood Alfredo, my husband was not so impressed with the bowl of steamers, he thought they were a little bit small. Our friends enjoyed the lobster roll. The service was attentive without being intrusive and we will return.More
