Great Pho!

We initially were going to the Purple Parrot Coffee Shop in Atlantis but there was a wait of about 40 minutes for two people on a Saturday about 11:30am. So, we figured we would check out other restaurants in Atlantis since we were already there. We continued walking toward Cafe Alfresco and discovered it had been replaced by Red Bloom. We had heard of Red Bloom but did not know that it replaced Cafe Alfresco. We inquired about a wait and were told we could be seated right away. So we decided to check it out. Our drinks were brought to us very quickly and we decided to try their potstickers appetizer because that is what we always do in restaurants of this style. We ordered our entrees a short while later and we both decided to get the 775 Pho. My wife loves Pho and will get it sometimes when on her own and sometimes she talks me into it. The potstickers arrived and looked really good. They came garnished with green onion and a side of soy sauce. We had almost finished them when the Pho arrived. The Pho also looked really good and came with lots of additions like Hoisin sauce, hot sauce, basil, cilantro, bean sprouts, lime wedges, onions and jalapeños. It was very tasty. The bowls were huge. On the downside, we kept finding what appeared to be fat in the Pho. I wish I took a picture. We assumed it was for flavor but we took it out as we encountered it. Overall it was a good experience, more expensive than a typical pho restaurant but since we were in the casino we were not surprised.

A new addition to Atlantis and a delight

The Red Bloom restaurant is new to Atlantis casino and in my opinion overdue. The meals are light, asian in a simple bright seating environment with many options to choose from. I wasn’t sure about some of the items on the menu and to my delight “Angelo" helped me out throughly to understand how some of the items were prepared and served. Because of Covid reservations are recommended so as to separate tables for social distancing. However, it was a weekday and they were able to take us immediately without reserving.

Give them another chance.

I have been there several times. Our waiter Dominic and Andra were excellent. I asked how it was prepared and they knew the answers. We notice that the supervisors the waiters and waitresses are team players.. It was nice seeing the chefs coming out greeting the guests and asking how they liked the food. I only have one complaint. There is a hostess that I found was very rude and impolite. I think she is Asian. I have never seen her before and it was not Naren. First day we tried the Peking Duck was excellent. The ramen noodles was over cooked and mushy. We gave it another try on another day and it came out excellent. The following times we were there we tried the Pork Belly Bao, tempera shrimp, Miso Salmon, fried Pork Chop were excellent. I would not recommend the Dan Dan noodles because it had an odd taste. The Korean Short ribs was not what I expected. It’s a boneless short rib. It did not have the Korean flavor. I was surprised that Chilean SeaBass was not buttery. It was little on the dry side. I know that Red Bloom is trying hard to get the kinks out because I have seen the chefs coming out asking their customer how they like the food. It show that they care about there food and took the constructive criticism very well. It will take sometime for the Red Bloom becoming a perfect blossom.

First and last dinner at Red Bloom

First we were very excited to try this restaurant. We ordered Whole Peking Duck that is Served Family Style with Bao Buns & Hoisin Sauce, Mixed Asian Vegetables, Jasmine Rice. First impress when the duck arrive was “is this the whole duck or just half?” I can’t believe how small it was for the expensive price. Very disappointed. The Babo buns were enough, 7 of them, and the mix Asian vegetables with rice was horrible. Felt like a was a side dish dinner on an international fly, all it was missing was the plastic cover. I have been in many casinos and this was the worst Peking Duck. Very small, a lot of fat , dry and very expensive ($44) . We ended up eating a sandwich and fries at the Deli. I would not recommend this restaurant. Save your money and better order at the Deli for half of a price.

Dinner at Red Bloom

👍👍👍👍👍 Great food with phenomenal service from Phoi, our server. Servings are pretty substantial and we had to take away a doggie bag. We first learnt of Red Bloom on an ad while in the airport so we were puzzled not to see it on the map provided by the hotel for check-in. Good thing I saw a man in a Red Bloom uniform pass us by with a cart and that the room key had the restaurant ad. Apparently it's only been open for half a year. I've lived in China so while not a lot of food outside of China are really authentic because they adapt it to the tastes of the population, the food here was delicious if just taken as is. Phoi was very efficient, polite and engaging so it helped to make the review a five-star one instead of just four stars. I wanted to get dessert but was too full so I might have to come back another time just for the mochi trio, crispy sesame balls, jasmine rice pudding, lychee mousse cake, or candied ginger ice cream.

Outstanding Experience

My family was planning to eat at the Buffett but on the way we decided to try out this new place. The food and service was fantastic! We all was very happy and quite satisfied, all thanks to our server Phoi who was absolutely adorable by the way, she was very professional and explained the menus to us since it was a bit different for what we usually eat. We got chicken and pork belly ramen which was delicious! Also the Korean short ribs plate and the sea bass plate also very delicious! We will be back!

Authentic Asian Ramen

Upon arrival, the hostess was quite welcoming and sat me immediately in a semi-full, socially distanced table. I tried the Beef Short Rib Ramen and was impressed with the size and quality-come hungry! I also tried their special Ginger Martini that was quite delicious. The service was impeccable and the server gave a nice smile that you could see through her mask. A+

Another great Atlantis restaurant!

This Asian themed restaurant just opened one month ago on December 28th. It’s a welcome addition to the other restaurants at the Atlantis. We have consistently had wonderful food experiences at all of their dining options. We had the tempura prawns and the cucumber salad for appetizers. The salad was on the small side, but both appetizers were delicious. I had the roasted duck ramen and my wife had the Thai coconut curry tofu ramen. Both very yummy! Our waitress Alexandria’s badge said trainee, but she served like a veteran, and was friendly, attentive, efficient and professional. As a final note, while the food and service were excellent, the ambiance was lacking.

Fun and delicious!

We dined for lunch at the new Red Blloom restaurant in the Atlantis in Reno. We were immediately seated in this beautiful new space, once occupied by another restaurant. The space itself is airy, open and decorated beautifully. Even though this restaurant is located on the main floor of the casino, it is easily found. We were served by Phoi, who was fun, charming and professional Out starters included Pork and Shrimp Siu Mai, Duck Bao Buns and Pork Egg Rolls. The Siu Mai were excellent, paired with a wonderful Ginger Soy dipping sauce. The Duck Bao Buns, with a Roasted Jalapeño Plum Sauce, were terrific. They are a meal unto themselves! The Pork Egg Rolls, while hot and delicious, were slightly over cooked. Our Mains included Duck Ramen and Beef Short Rib Ramen. Both were hot, presented beautifully and delicious. The portion is a stand alone meal. We paired our dishes with Gerwurztraminer and “Eroica” Riesling, both from Chateau Ste. Michelle. The menu has much to offer, with many select of Dim Sum and Main plates. We look forward to dining here again to explore more of the menu.. We highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the Reno area.

I went in as a solo diner. They asked if I would sit at the counter. I said I’d take a look but the high top chairs were very uncomfortable. There was an empty table with a bus tub sitting on it that had been that way for ten minutes at least. I asked if I could sit there instead. The hostess said they needed that table for larger groups and that I couldn’t sit there. Being shamed and rejected as a solo diner is completely unacceptable.

Great Restaurant

My family wanted to try this new restaurant for quite some time but haven’t made the trip. This lunar new year we decided to celebrate it with Red Bloom to bring new atmosphere. Our server Phoi, introduced to us the Red Bloom lunar dishes which is crispy fried tilapia and seafood longevity noodles. When she introduced the dish she sound so excited and energetic about it. So we told her we will trust her and order both. Also along that we order tempura prawns, potstickers Korean ribs, and Mongolian beef. All was so delicious!!! We were so hungry that when the food came out we all ate it up before realizing we didn’t remember to take pictures! I don’t usually write reviews but the foods and service was phenomenal that this place deserves a review!!! Thank you for the great experience!

I had the best ramen ive ever tasted, me and my girlfriend are staying at the Atlantis casino and decided to stop by for a mean. Man oh man was I in for a treat after being treated like royalty by Phoi, I was treated with a pork belly ramen and bbq bao buns. OUT OF THIS WORLD! YOU HAVE TO TRY IT! We even got to speak to the chef what a great time!!

A Luncheon to Remember❤️

1 of d’ finest Asian Restaurants my family & friends had visited. My Sis & I ate there to have lunch & to Celebrate our late Dad’s 110th Heavenly Bday. Naran the lovely & sweet Manager asked us if we’d like to try their 3 New Entrees ( Mongolian Beef, Beef with Broccoli & Roasted Peking Duck Noodle Soup) We had tried almost everything in d’ menu & we liked them all, we tried 2 of the new entrees & promised to try d’ Beef & Broccoli on our next visit. Mongolian Beef & Roasted Peking Duck Noodle Soup were Excellent 👌🏽. The Staff esp Alex is Super👍🏽..Oh we miss Luisa our Server who works now @ night..Thanky Naran for taking care of Us & for giving us a bday dessert. You give the TRUE Meaning of what a Manager should be👏🏽 More Power to You & your Staff…Keep BLOOMING Red Bloom ( 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ )

Great Dim Sum

So excited to try this restaurant and we were not disappointed! My hubby and I stopped in for lunch and ordered four small plates: Shrimp Har Gow (5), Salt & Pepper Chicken Wings (8), Tempura Shrimp (6), and Pork Belly Bao Buns (3). The portions were generous and everything was piping hot and delicious. Tasty dipping sauces. We shared a Japanese beer. Angelo, our server, was so accommodating and attentive. We will be back with our friends to try the other dim sum selections, rice bowls, noodles and duck.

We we're greeted and seated, quickly by the enthusiasticly friendly manager. Our waitress Phoi, introduced herself and the daily specials. Our drinks came out quickly as did our delicious appetizers. My wife and I shared our meals as we normally do at a Chinese restaurant. We started with the pork buns and pot stickers. She loved the bunz and I thought the Pot stickers were phenomenal. We ordered the pork fried rice, pork chow mein, and schezuan chicken as our entrées. The dishes were colorful and plentiful. But the flavors were OUTSTANDING. This was by far the best Chinese food I've ever had. Coupled with the Flawless Service, I believe the Red Bloom Asian Kitchen deserves a visit from all the serious food critics in the region.
