After Covid 19 travel changes and then wildfire disruptions, we ended in Reno and Tahoe. Found this on trip advisor. Food is delicious. Three kinds of bread. Scallops were delish! Great cocktails - some modern mixology and some classics on menu. Weekdays from 4-6, they have social hour with 1/2 off cocktails and small plates.

Susan server extraordinaire was superb!!! From beginning to end just like a great movie, this Happy Hour you don't want to end!!! Happy Hour (reservations required) was like a film premiere, with laid out red carpet (at least you'll feel like it) was stupendous! Once seated like the Star of the film Susan entices her audience with the outstanding menu and excellent recommendations. While dining, all experienced that great dining like that good movie feeling. Drinks like Cotton Candy Martini and Box Car Willie (to name just a couple) along with apps like fresh huge oysters accompanied with 4 exotic sauces (my fav champagne with lemon and thyme), prime rib sliders with sexy fries, shrimp taco with mouth watering muy caliente sauce, etc. was so much to handle that we skipped dinner. Price was ridiculously inexpensive, ambience was contemporary with a dash of classic old school. Because it is HH you'll be seated outside the formal dining area. However, you feel the aire spill over and the lounge is all so awesome with the coolness of the bar exudes! Must try!

I booked a reservation on OpenTable for our family gathering. Don’t let first impressions scare you off-the noisy happy hour bar crowd surrounds the entrance and host stand. But the dining room in back is quiet and conducive to conversation. Service was friendly and attentive (Robert and Caiden), and our meal was wonderful. The scallops were terrific, prime rib cooked just right, and both the ravioli appetizer and sweet potato fries were awesome. Chicken on the spinach strawberry salad was overcooked and dry. But the warm donut holes with dipping sauces for dessert topped off the meal just right.

My wife and I spent the middle of the week ( Jan 22 24) at Atlantis Casino and Spa. During our stay we had Dinner at Bistro Napa on Thursday evening. I had the 18 ounce Bone-in Rib Eye Steak, it was charred and then cooked to perfection ( medium rare). My wife had the 6 ounce Sirloin with crumbled blue cheese. The Rib Eye was a 11 out of 10 and the sirloin was a 9 out of 10 on the taste and flavor scale. They were both prepared to absolute perfection! For dessert we shared a Creme brûlée. It was the perfect end to a great meal. As for the Service Staff, Robert and Amie they were spot on with their attention to detail and knowledge of the menu. Their level of service was beyond reproach. Last but not least, I would highly recommend the Cuba libre and the seven and seven during happy hour or as a nice drink with a fabulous dinner!

Although the menu has changed over the years, Napa cafe Happy Hour does not disappoint. Food selection is tasty, large wine selection with some premium wines to choose from and a creative list of cocktails to enjoy. Everything on happy hour menu is half off daily from 4p-6p

Our first time visiting this restaurant did not disappoint, our server Matthew went above and beyond to make sure our experience was nothing but luxurious. He went as far as explaining the flavor profile in each dish as it was displayed in front of us. My husband has a serious shellfish allergy and he made sure to convey personally to the kitchen in order to avoid any cross contamination. Matthew definitely deserves a promotion because that man was on top of his service game for sure! We will be back!

The private wine room was reserved for our party and our entire dining experience was absolutely wonderful. Matthew, Edward and the other members of our wait staff were all very friendly, knowledgeable and at the top of their game. They suggested cocktails that were all delicious and also helped us pick entrees that were all superb. We ordered the baked Brie for an appetizer and it did not disappoint. All of us all ordered something different and everything brought to our table was excellent!! I’d definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the Reno area and I’d love to go back again the next time we go up.

Although my posting is delayed, my enthusiasm has not diminished for the great time we had at Bistro Napa in September. We were there for the amazing happy hour. We tried many of the appetizers and all of them were delicious! However, I have to say that the Asian BBQ Pork Ribs were my favorite. I also tried one of their signature drinks. I think it was the Jalamango, which had a nice kick. Mr. John McGinnes and Ms. Fei Kass stopped by to say “Hi”. The Atlantis staff is some of the friendliest in town and you always feel welcome at their property. Without hesitation, I frequently recommend friends and visitors to experience Bistro Napa at the Atlantis. It offers something unexpected....in the best way!

My family, friends and I have had the pleasure over the last 10 years watching the Bistro Napa evolve into the Best restaurant in Reno. We have hosted many family events and they have continued to exceed our expectations each and every time. From the atmosphere, service and food you can not go wrong! A big applause to the manager Mark Steele, our waiter Sherwin Ibay, and a big welcome to Chef David!

Never, ever have we been disappointed when dining at Bistro Napa. Great selection on the menu, lots of wine choices, excellent cocktails. Ambiance is good. Bar area is noisy but that makes it fun especially during these trying times. We last ate here on 12/30/20 and social distancing was practiced with wait staff wearing both masks and gloves. As always, well prepared, beautifully presented, quality food and everything tasted delicious!
Whenever we visit Reno, I always make sure to make reservations here. Try it, you will not be disappointed.

Enjoyed dinner at Bistro Napa last night. Robert was one of the best waiters we have had during our many travels worldwide. He, and Sabino, made sure our water glasses were full, the table cleared of empty dishes and any crumbs. Robert was quick witted and made our dining experience that much more enjoyable. I had the signature short rib, and my husband had the prime rib. Neither of us eat potatoes and he made sure to switch them out as per our request. Both dishes were scrumptious. We were so impressed with Bistro we went back later in the night for a nightcap. Surprise, Sabino was still there too. He and (I’m sorry waitress, I don’t remember your name) we’re still jovial and upbeat. I ordered a cappuccino with a shot of frangelico, hubby ordered box car Willie. Both drinks were good, but my coffee was soo good my husband ordered one too :-) Thank you for making our first day at the Atlantis so enjoyable!

Every time we are in Reno you will find us at the Bistro Napa for at least one night. It has been the best dining experience ever, the food and staff are five stars. If you have a chance to get a seat looking into the kitchen (limited seating) you're in for a treat. Watching and interacting with the line cooks including Jorge and Sean and Chef Dave just makes it fun. Chef Dave is always welcoming and willing to take the time to answer our questions about the amazing cuisine the Bistro offers. We were unable to get seats at the kitchen for our Christmas dinner but Nicholas {our server) went above and beyond taking pictures for us to commemorate the day. This is just a special place for us and it will be for you too.

After 20+years of coming to Atlantis we discovered the Bistro Napa 2 years ago. We were just wandering around the dining area and noticed seats looking into the kitchen. We were greeted by the staff and one individual in particular made our time in the Bistro so enjoyable its now our favorite place to eat when we are in town. Jorge is without question the person responsible for our love of this incredible dining experience. Don't get me wrong, it's not just Jorge the food, the staff everything is first class. We are always a little disappointed if we come on a day Jorge isn't on the other side of the kitchen counter, we just love the give and take with Jorge.

We went there to celebrate our friend's birthday, and it truly was a celebration! Our waiter was Robert who was training Amy, and they both gave all 4 of us the royal treatment from beginning to end. We ordered cocktails, appetizers, salads, main dishes, dessert, tea/coffee - everything. They brought a special dessert for the birthday boy which he enjoyed with all the attention. (age 75) Then to top it all off, they brought out the famous cotton candy dish.....such a surprise. This is a topnotch restaurant in every way. Pricy, but definitely worth it. We can't wait to go back.
