Our family traveled by Amtrak to Reno. I had booked dinner reservations for us at Bistro Napa. Everything pointed to a good choice. The elegant ambience, quality of food and staff. Everything! We ordered and shared two small plates followed by each individual main course of prime rib, half-chicken, scallops and tuna tartar. Sparkling wine and Chardonnay accompanied delicious food.... Our servers David and Martin were very attentive, but not too much. The Sea Bas was perfect as was the Calamari Steak my wife had. And the cotton candy was a surprise and brought back fond memories. Mark the Manager was also very attentive. We will be back!

We ate here one night and it was amazing! The service is great from start to finish. Free champagne, breads, and smiles! The food was equally tantalizing and we left here so very stuffed. This is a must for any visitor in the area.

The area is clean. Can get a bit noisy. The service is solid. The menu varied. All food is fresh with strong presentation. From the appetizers to the main course. Wine list is varied and moderately priced. Full bar. Good value.

We stopped and stayed at the hotel after a very long road trip and decided to eat at Bistro Napa. By far the best meal and service of our week long road trip. The wait staff made great recommendations for food and wine and provided very attentive service. I had an appetizer (tuna tartare) and a salad for dinner and... More

Grabbed a light supper my last night in Reno. Sat at the bar, the barkeep was helpful and service was good. I had the seafood cocktail. The sauce was delicious and the seafood was pretty good. Shrimp was well cooked. The other seafood was just "OK". I also had an iceberg wedge salad, it was really good-just enough dressing and... More

Drinks and appetizers are half price from 4-6 pm. Get there early because this is common knowledge! There is a large menu, considering it's just appetizers. The staff is friendly and helpful. The chairs are comfortable.

This place has inventive, delicious food and an excellent cocktail/wine selection, but the best part is waiting by the door second before they open and rushing to haggle a table with the crowd. One feels they have earned a cocktail after that!
