Dinner at 6pm, party of eight. Waited 45 minutes between salad and entree. Food was mediocre at best. Cioppino was bits of unidentifiable seafood topped with spaghetti sauce. Sea bass was ok, but the rice and vegetables were stone cold. Seafood pasta in cream sauce...was sickeningly rich. We’ve always looked forward to enjoying family special occasions at Bistro Napa, but the food was so bad that my 87 year old father requested we do not return. I can say that our server was friendly and attentive, it’s more of a kitchen/management problem. Sent an email to Atlantis with no response, this speaks volumes about the management. In general, the food at ALL the restaurants in the Atlantis has declined noticeably.More
With pandemic fears lessening, my wife and I have again been visiting Bistro Napa for happy hours. The food is always good and for "older folks" the portions are certainly sufficient. The drinks, too, are excellent.
One server, however, stands out as we get back...into the Bistro Napa groove. We have been served by Gilberto many times over the past few years. As we get back to the Bistro, it was great to see him and to observe that he appears to be the "go to" guy. He has always been friendly, personable, and yet highly professional in taking care of his tables. We have seen him grow into the man who with his friendly manner still takes charge to be sure his many tables have excellent service. Our only regret is that he is not always our waiter - while the others are very good, Gilberto is the best.More
I don’t often write reviews but I downloaded the TripAdvisor app for this one, and I’m still at the restaurant.
Everything about this place is perfect. The ambiance, the cocktails, the food, and most of all, their service. Susan is an amazing host and super...nice.
A must visit if you’re ever in Reno and anywhere within a 100 mi of it.More
Excellent food and service at a fair price. The Caesar salad and pork chop entree were both fantastic. No room for dessert. An inviting, casual atmosphere as well. I love not having to get dressed up to have a truly top notch dining experience!
The BEST TIME, for a best friends birthday May 4th 2021. We were determined to pay for this dinner, as a gift, but our friend insisted she pay her half. I called down to the Bistro Napa ,b4 we were to arrive & explained my...dilemma to a young man Joe, he must be a head waiter, management level. He helped me wth my plan & handled it all. We paid, my friend didn’t have a chance to say differently. Hahaha
Our waiter Romeo got his info from Joe & all was handled sooo professionally. Romeo was excellent, courtesy, delightful & thought of everything. The dinner was phenomenal! We all raved over each entree. Plus they surprised my dear friend wth a lovely super sized piece of cake that had Happy Birthday written in Chocolate across the plate it set on. The food, drinks, service, surroundings, were top notch. Thank you Joe & Romeo for a job well done. Compliments to the Chef for the BEST
meal in town.More
I took my wife out to celebrate her birthday. We were greeted and seated as soon as we arrived and we were 5-10 minutes early. Our waiter Sherwin came to our table as we were seating. Beverages were offered and served by our sommelier. The...wine was recommended by our waiter. It was delicious and paired well with our meal. Our meal was also recommended by our waiter. I had the cioppino and my wife had the veal piccata. But first we stared with the bake brie with loganberries. Then had our entrée. We finished the meal with cheesecake decorated with birthday wishes. We had a fantastic experience all around. The staff, food and ambiance epitomizes what a restaurant should be.More
Romero Capinilla and Carlos took excellent care of us. The food was amazing (halibut, short ribs, cioppino, and wagyu burger). The wine (Joseph Phelps Cab) was a perfect pairing for this exquisite meal.
