They stold my mama! Mom’s never disappoints for breakfast, lunch or dinner. This is a diner where the locals live and visitors alway stop by for the experience. Always try the daily specials but the regular menu is reliable as well. Enjoy!

This place has reasonable prices and great home cooked food, with a varied menu that works for several picky people in my household. We go fairly often and have never had anything but excellent service. Portions are huge. There is often a bit of a wait if you don't beat the crowd, but it's worth it.

We checked out the reviews on this place and decided to give it a try. We ordered the French Dip and Chicken Fried Chicken. Both were excellent! The French Dip came with fries. The Chicken Fried Chicken came with mashed potatoes and gravy or a baked potato and corn.

We stopped in at lunchtime on a weekday. Short wait for table, but they really have cleaning and busing tables down to a science! Great choice of items. I had the French Dip, it was good but meat was a little too dry for my taste. DH had a chicken fried sandwich and said it was phenomenal. They also had malt vinegar for fries so that put them up on a pedestal for me! Seating was good, felt social distancing guidelines were followed well. Great friendly place with good food and seems a lot of locals eat there, which is always a good sign.

Great Litter Diner

After reading reviews had to give this Diner a try. Very good food and lots of it. Prices were unbelievable, so cheap. I had the special Meatloaf, eggs and hashbrowns, with sour dough toast. Big slab of Meatloaf and very tasty too. Husband had the Ham Steak (16oz), eggs hashbrowns and sour dough toast. He couldn't even finish 1/2 of the ham steak. Very good food and even better prices.

Very Good Comfort Food

Stopped here for to-go lunches to take with us to Sanders Family Winery. Had the turkey salad special sandwich and a BLT. Both with sweet potato fries. Food was very tasty and reasonably priced. Service was friendly and owner was working the register and was fun to talk to. We also stopped here on way back from Death Valley National Park to Vegas for dinner - had chicken fried chicken meal and ground round meal with onions and gravy. Dinner was good, but green beans were a little tired and meal could have come with a roll. We did have a piece of cherry and apple pie a la mode and both were very good!! Would stop in again when in the area!

Great Food. Watch out for the Phone

The Monstrosity Burger was great and served with a savory sauce. Keep in mind, the mixed veggies with the entrees had no flavor. The Texas Benedict is a worthy choice. Beware, as you go in on the left is a vintage telephone display with one of them actually ringing next to your table. We thought it was a fake ring so picked up the receiver to have some fun only to find it was a real line. The phone the employees use is behind the counter, but this is an extra line.

DON’T GO TO MOM’S DINER!

We were visiting from Oregon and were meeting my sister & some of her friends. The food was reasonable portions & prices. Our servers - Thomas & Bonnie - were great (especially Thomas!). However, an extra cup of coffee was accidentally brought to the table. My sister said she’d take it if they were just going to throw it away. She took care to not take refills. Near the end of our meal, the owner angrily came & took her empty cup away “so she didn’t get any more.” The following conversation was rude & inappropriate for any worker to have with a customer, much less the owner! She explained why she had the cup, & even offered to pay for it. He said not to bother, but “don’t come back,” all this over a $3.00 cup of coffee! Later, my (93 year old!) mom went to pay her bill & told him she didn’t appreciate how he treated her daughter, & he said, “I don’t care.” She said we were visiting from oregon, had eaten there last year, but would not be back. He again said he didn’t care! Wow. Two local residents (my sister & one of her friends) & four tourists lost as customers OVER $3.00! We will tell *everyone* we know not to go there. Additionally, there are several other reviews where other customers received similar treatment. DON’T GO TO MOM’S unless you want rude treatment FROM THE *OWNER*!

I WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!

I was at Mom's with 8 people, 4 from out of town and four locals. The busman brought an extra cup of coffee and gave it to me for free. It was understood I would only drink the 6 ounces they would throw out. I did not have another drop. The owner walks over to our table and pulled only one mug off the table, mine, and went back behind the counter. What happened next was horrible. I wonder if his "Mom" knows he treated my 93 year old sweet mother so poorly and telling her to never come back when she tried to pay for the $3 coffee. He is a total jerk. And Mom does exist and is this horrible man's mom. I truly hope she reads these reviews. The restaurant is dirty, the owner has a gross beard hanging down over your food, which is semi decent if you like the cheapest quality possible. I will never go back and will tell everyone not to go there.

I was visiting from California. My friend had an egg and potatoes and biscuit which she said was ok. I ordered a tuna sandwich with coleslaw. The tuna was dry and tasteless.. The mayo was not mixed in properly and the bread was stale... coleslaw ok

I was in town for Spring Mountain driving school

I have been to Mom's before. The Ron Fellows Performance Driving school has a list of recommended restaurants in the Pahrump area. Mom's was on the list when I first came to school in 2016. I have been back there three times now! The place was packed for dinner. Nevada has a mask rule still in place so that was uncomfortable but once seated one can take off the mask. Like germs know the difference, right? I ordered chicken fried steak and a side salad. The gravy is not made from a base but made from scratch! The salad was crisp and cold. The chicken fried steak was typical diner fare but I enjoyed every bite. I'll be back in 2022 for more driving school and Mom's will be on my dining list.

Mom’s was recommended to us our first morning for breakfast and everything was so good, we arranged our schedule to be back for dinner. The staff was very friendly and accommodating with food as well as tourist suggestions. We highly recommend this as a great local diner!

Cozy Little Restaurant - Something for Everyone

We had dinner here on a Sunday night in Pahrump. The restaurant isn't fancy. It is basically located in a strip mall. However, the menu has something for everyone and it was very clean. There was a dessert display that looked very appetizing, although we passed on the dessert. Our group of 5 had two chicken sandwiches, a hot roast beef sandwich, chicken fried steak and a caesar's salad. Everything was delicious. The waiter was very friendly. The food came out very quickly. Everything was hot and seemed homemade. The place had a steady stream of customers the entire time we were there. The only negative comment is they had ceiling fans going the whole time we were there and it made it very cold in the restaurant. We really enjoyed our food and would visit again if we were in the area.

Friendly people, very accommodating. Had a burger with a great meat flavor, just fried pink. Next, the daily menu (roast with potato hive). The meat was very tender and sensational in taste. Would go back immediately.
