Such a great place, especially for bringing your family. Everyone was friendly. The prices were fair. The food was amazing.

We have tried several Chinese restaurants here in N. Las Vegas, but have yet to find a decent one. The first time we ordered from Golden Phoenix it was good, not great. It did beat the other two we had tried. The second time it was not so good. If I rate a place average I will not go back. It is either very good or excellent or you do not get my business. This is a new area so hopefully, we will start getting some quality restaurants.

We visited for lunch and were very impressed. The lunch menu has 50 options priced from $5.95 - $7.95. The meal came with soup, egg roll, and fried rice and included some noodles as well. The portions are very large, especially for lunch, and the meal was very tasty. Definitely a place we would return.

One of my favorite places to eat in North Las Vegas. It is delicious, always fresh they always have everything ready quickly and are always so kind and courteous. I have had many selections off their menu, and quite frankly they have always hit.

This restaurant is a favorite of some College students because it is affordable and large portions. One diner prefers it because they offer a large plate of cream cheese won tons as an alternative to crab won tons and she prefers chicken dishes without the heavy fried breading. I prefer the chicken meat to be tender and juicy, the white meat, and I like the fried breading. I would not return for the food, but that's just my own food preference, as one person in the group is a "regular." The service was good. The setting was casual. The restaurant is located in a strip mall next to other businesses, including a large grocery store.

We stopped in at this place for lunch on our way to Zion. Great food and great service! The people working were very friendly and kept our drinks refilled. I ordered curry chicken, my wife ordered sesame chicken. Both were great and came with fried rice, lo mein, a spring roll, egg drop soup, and crispy noodles as an appetizer. Everything was great, not greasy, and the veggies were crispy. $16 ($20 with tip) total for a full meal.

Although I think that this restaurant is overpriced, we decided to try again. Well, big mistake. I ordered the Mo Go and it was awful. The chicken was not stir fried, it was boiled!!!! My lunch partner said the same and we hardly ate any of our lunch. The waitress asked if we wanted to take the rest home, not on your life.

First, the service was slow. Then, the server could not understand when I asked about the difference between two dishes, so she brought me both. When I tried to send one back, she just looked confused and left the table. Trying the table's app of potstickers, I spit it out, as it was awful. My husband did not finish eating his either. In my orange beef, I found a piece of plastic several inchrs long. When I pointed this out to the server, she said that it was ok as the beef comes in plastic bags. Not ok with me, I stopped eating it. She would not take it back. My husband's meal was also orange beef. Within 10 minutes of eating, he became very ill and vomited in their bathroom several times. We left all of the food uneaten on the table abd went to check out. I told the cashier of our many issues, but she refused to take off any of the charges from our bill. How crazy! We spent $42 and ended up sick and hungry with an extra food charged that I did not even want. Horrible place. Never going to give them another chance.

Me and my girlfriend were visiting from the UK and the usual great hospitality in restaurants in the North Las Vegas area has certainly eluded this place. The starter was nice as was the man who first greeted us but the woman who served us was rude and had no customer skills whatsoever. She brought our starters out and gave them to the wrong people and brought out mains out before we'd even finished. Never ever again.

The pluses: big menu, lots of parking in a shared lot, nice staff, quick turn-around time for take-out. The rest: There was not much flavour for what we ordered. The price was good for a decent quantity of food, but the food itself was just average and we did not keep our left-overs.

We order from here for our office lunches, especially when we work Saturdays. The food always arrive piping hot, with the usual rice or noodles freshly prepared and all of the goodies (eggroll, soup). Each dish I've ordered has been top quality and tasty, which isn't easy in a to-go container. Plenty of food, too, so easily a second meal for me.

Glad I found reviews of this place on Yelp. It's great Chinese food at a great price. The general tso chicken was lightly breaded and had just enough spices to keep it interesting.
