Here to visit the Turing of the Aspen. Wow. Wanted to take a lunch. Stoped here and ordered a deli. to go. Not only was the sourdough excellent the service was super. Headed south on 395. Outstanding. Took the Virginia Lakes road and it was spectacular. Shared the sandwich by Walker river day use and learned about the monster trout that were in this area.

What a gem! For such an unassuming name, it greatly exceeded expectations. Besides great sandwiches, they have 15+ draft beers to pick from. And while you're there, check out their HUGE selection of bourbon choices and other items for sale. We'll be back!

A large variety of meat and veggie options. Prices are on the cheap side. The place also has setting for indoor dining. Restrooms were clean

Saturday 04/18: Trying to support the local restaurants struggling with the Coronavirus lockdown I phone ordered two Mom’s cheeseburgers (cheese extra $2 bucks) with NO ketchup. Order placed 50 minutes prior to my scheduled arrival. After pick up we returned home. Both burgers had ketchup and no cheese! I immediately called and spoke with Monique who state that error was “unacceptable “ ....her words. She stated manager Phil will call me back to resolve. You guessed it....never heard back from Phil. Bottom line....Minden Meats &Deli can’t even build a basic burger correctly and apparently manager Phil could careless!

Paid top dollar for a fresh Diestel Turkey ; but it was frozen solid tip to tail! When I questioned it being frozen solid, the clerk argued with me that it was not frozen!
Had lunch, if you could call it that, because it was inedible.
It’s not the same place or quality it has been in the past, from now on I will either buy my Turkey at Raley’s (because they don’t pretend theirs are fresh) or wait until the staff changes once again.
Have always purchased “fresh” Turkey for the holidays and this is the first time, I’ve had to buy or go without for Thanksgiving (when I would have otherwise walked out).

Not impressed by the overpriced burgers and sandwiches. The best thing on the menu is the Tri-Tip Sandwich. Other than that the rest is average. The workers are nice and helpful. I think the only reason this places stays open is for the variety of beers Kevin brings in.

I thought this was a "real" deli. Like the kind you'd find back in the Northeast. (NY, MA, NJ...) It wasn't. If I did not know where my takeout sandwich (tri-tip) came from, I would have guessed Subway. Won't be going back.

I bought some meat there that was so spicy and salty and I called and told them and and she said well we all tasted some and nobody thought it was spicy and salty ! I thought that was so unprofessional and such a degrading way to handle a costumer that is unhappy ! Wouldn’t it be nice to just say I’m so sorry your unhappy and we would like to make you happy but no you had to challenge me ! Well guess I won’t be coming back there and my large clientele won’t either because I will spread the word in this very small town !

Been there about ten times in as many months. Excellent burgers and fries. Reasonably quick service (it is not fast food.)

It's like a deli counter, but has a bar and tables to pick up your sandwich or burger, or get deli sandwiches and a great craft beer to go! The meats and cheeses are all fresh, top shelf and delicious! There were three of us for lunch, one of us had a Tri-Tip BBQ Sandwich, one of us had a Momma Burger with swiss cheese and my sister had a cup of homemade tomato-basil soup! We enjoyed some sweet, delightful craft beers and a small bit of red potato salad. Always a great choice for fresh, tasty sandwiches when you find yourself in Minden, NV.

This place has the best french fries and sweet potato fries along with a great selection of sandwiches and local beef hamburgers (only $1 more for local beef). The hamburgers are huge and delicious.

Stopped in for a bite of lunch when visiting the greater Carson Valley. First, this place is a really interesting stop. There is a butcher shop as well as a big cheese case with very specialized cheeses. There also must be 30+ beers on tap and another hundred or more by the bottle. Also, they have a full wall with nothing but wines of all kinds. And then there are the growlers: brown glass empty bottles (jugs) for taking home, filled with you favorite specialty beer. And on top of all this,they have a restaurant that serves lunch and dinner. Big portions! Don't hesitate to split something with a date unless you are big eater! We will be back for sure.

This location is a restaurant, a craft beer store, and a deli all rolled into one. Order at the counter and your meal will be up soon. They have a small bar with several beers on tap and cans and bottles for sale. Parking is on site and the food is excellent! Sit inside or out, relax and enjoy!

Stopped here on our way to Lake Tahoe. No dogs allowed inside but you can have them on the patio.
Potato salad was very very good. Red potatoes, bacon, and blue cheese.
Ordered the tri-tip sandwich. Wife and I shared it. Not huge. Tri-tip meat was very tasty. There could have been more. Above average but nothing special.
