This was surprisingly outstanding sushi and sashimi! I have eaten sushi and sashimi in hundreds of restaurants around the world and this restaurant can hold its own among the best. The seafood is flown in fresh daily and never frozen. They brought fresh wasabi to the table. FRESH, not that paste stuff. They import it from Japan which is very... More

Heard this place was good, but after a dinner here I can say it i one of the best sashimi places I have ever enjoyed a meal. Salmon, tuna, octopus delivered quickly by the staff was cold and fresh. TONS OF IT!!!! But what made it special was the wasabi relish they brought out in place of the mixed powdered... More

My wife and I enjoyed a very good dinner at Minato. Service was fast. Ordered three rolls Lobster Roll, Orange Crush and Kingman, all three were excellent. We miss our favorite sushi restaurant in San Diego County but Minato fits the bill nicely. We'll be back.

Once again this year we had a fantastic experience. Sushi was great. Service is excellent. Beer is cold. Interior is clean and organized. Staff is really fun to be around. Must hit this one when in town.

We went there for lunch and it was not crowded at all so the service was prompt and friendly. I had a Teriyaki Chicken Bento and my wife had a Kimchi(Korean fermented cabbage) Stew. They were excellent. My Bento included Miso soup and a small cucumber salad. The only surprise and a somewhat negative thing was that we were charged... More

Park behind the place and walk around to the left, it will save you 3 flights of stairs. Food is amazing and the people are so nice. Sent 3 hours eating and 2 more chatting. Sushi is okay. Dinner for two will feed four! Appetizers will fill you up, but are so good you have to splurge!

Best place around this area to have sushi. The rolls are awesome and the tempura is yummy! We eat here at least once a month and are very satisfied.

Some of the best yellow tail I've had in a long time. The rest of the sushi and one roll I tried were very good. My parents had tempura and said it was excellent. Service was great, beer was cold.

If you are visiting Laughlin, NV, and you like sushi and/or Japanese food, you have to try Minato Japanese & Korean Restaurant. It is across the street from the Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino, and just south of the Tropicana Express. The food is exceptional, the service is fast and courteous and the prices are very reasonable. Every time we... More

My wife and I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. Best Sushi in our opinion and fantastic people from host to servers. We have had Sushi in California, Scottsdale and along east coast and this place is the best.
