Had 3 tacos here, which were delicious and made fresh and tasty. A little hard to find as my GPS sent me to the other side of the road. It is small and in a strip mall, with parking. Well worth it, for an authentic taco offering. Tacos were fresh and warm (and not fried or greasy). Small and elegant... More

Very, very good food. I'm bragging on the Queso Fundido because,if you like cheese, you will love this. We had to get more tortillas though. The place is very small, located in a strip mall and you sort of have to look for it, but it was worth it! We enjoyed everything we ordered.

I have been visiting this place for the last 15 years and the only plate I have tasted is the Huaraches with Steak and quesadillas con queso. this is by far the best place to eat this kind of food in Las Vegas. It is as close to Mexico City's food as it gets here in Las Vegas.

Each time arriving in Las Vegas this has been a routine stop for a lunch and its flavors did not disappoint. The Huarache and the Chilaquiles were flavorful and savory. The green sauce used is loaded with flavor of onion, some garlic and a bit of cilantro. If there could be one suggestion is to have the green salsa be... More

I saw the review in the Las Vegas Weekly. I really like pambazo sandwiches. They are have to find. The picture and description looked and sounded wonderful. When I got the sandwich, I wasn't sure they had given me the right one. It was nothing like described. It had very little on it and no flavor. They must have made... More

This mom and pop Mexican restaurant serves authentic fare. We each ordered huevos rancheros which came with chips & salsa, rice, refried beans and warm tortillas. The owner also served us complimentary cups of their delicious consomme loco which is a fat free chicken rice soup spiked with cilantro. Neither of us could do this bountiful meal justice. Our bill... More

After reading a review of this place in a major food magazine, I couldn't wait to try it. During a recent visit to Las Vegas I did so, and was more than disappointed. I've been to Mexico City and other places in Mexico and have seen a million store-front places just like this one; the food was barely average, the... More

I am not sure how this small, casual, Mexico City-type eatery managed to be included in the dining guide: Eating Las Vegas: The 50 Essential Restaurants, but but the consomme loco with a clear chicken broth, rice, cilantro, shredded chicken and avocado satisfies us in a way only a homemade soup could.

We read about this restaurant as a "hidden gem" but have been too lazy to try it until now. Wow!!! It really is THAT good. I don't normally give "excellent" reviews but this place is it. The menu isn't your typical Mexican take out. The dishes are traditional, authentic and delicious. I can't wait to go back just to try... More

This tiny storefront restaurant has received a measure of notoriety since an article appeared in the Las Vegas Weekly indentifying it as celebrity Chef Alex Stratta’s favorite restaurant for authentic Mexico City cuisine. Alex was dining elsewhere this day, but the restaurant was fairly busy. Orders are placed at the counter and then while waiting for the food you can... More
