Nice restaurant, nice place, great food! Lots of history here! When visiting Las Vegas I will definitely come here for dinner! Great service, appetizers, great prime rib!

This place is amazing!! The restaurant is clean and bright, prices are reasonable. Service fantastic. You have to ask for the $14.99 prime rib special which is phenomenal. Seriously, the prime rib here is better than the Bacchanal buffet at Caesars. There were six of...us with reservations. Only reservations would be seated. Take out available. Four of us had the prime rib, one a chicken dinner and one liver and onions. Shrimp cocktail to share. My husband and I also had a coupon for 2-4-1 burgers which we also ordered, lol. We all shared chocolate ganache cake and bread pudding. There was silence when we started eating. The prime rib special comes with vegetable of the day and baked potato. Upcharge for a different type of potato. They stopped serving rolls with butter after reopening (covid). The prime rib is 8oz; now they do have larger cuts but not for the $14.99. Hardly any fat. Cooked to perfection (medium rare was ordered). The horseradish cream was the best ever. The cocktail sauce for the shrimp cocktail had just enough kick to it. They have two burgers, we ordered one of each. Everything was fresh. The Lansky burger is phenomenal. Huge shout out to Mark our waiter. If you are in the area you must stop by. The El Cortez is not shiny and new but you will not be disappointed in a meal here. And yes, my husband and I both ate a prime rib dinner and burger/fries...........but I passed on my potato to save room for dessert :)More

Omg this was so good for the price! Get the Prime Rib Special just $14.99! The corn (veggie of the day) that comes with is amazing! Ambiance is cool because it’s been there since 1941. Check out all the photos on the wall!

we were told it would be 45 minutes for a table. Sounded ok, the bar next door had a good singer, we thought it would be fun to wait there... 3 hours later, starving and still waiting for a table I now think was never...really available, they just wanted us to spend our money. Not cool.More

My girlfriend and I had a 6:30pm reservation and when we arrived the hostess sat us right away. The server didn't greet or offer us drinks until 6:55pm. Our server I noticed was so busy he looked like a chicken with head cut off. There...was no bussers to offer water either. We finally ordered our drinks and it took forever to get that and it was like drop and go type of service. We ordered prime rib and it was the only thing that was good. Our server came and asked how our food was and took off. We didn't get to answer that our food was good. I wanted to ask about the history of this restaurant but there was no chance. He was way too busy. I seen Managers and Hostesses cleaning tables most of the time but the servers were trying to keep up cleaning tables too. It looked like the company is trying to save a buck by not staffing the restaurant properly. The worst service I have ever experienced in my life and I'm a gourmet food server myself and I've had better service at Burger King.More

Our waiter was great. The menu is full of comfort food. My wife had liver and onions, I had fish and chips. Full plates of food, very reasonable prices. Drinks are priced very reasonably. If you want a non-fancy meal with good food, this is...a great place.More

We wanted to experience Siegels 1941 because it was in old Vegas (near Freemont St). We made a reservation for 10:30am. We had to wait for 20 minutes for our table. There was 1 lady at the register - she was cleaning tables, setting them...up, taking care of TO GO and cashing out customers! We were finally seated - Our waitress had 7 tables. She was so overwhelmed, she forgot part of our order, never got us a 2nd cup of coffee or water. She would drop something off at our table and run away. We never got the chance to talk to her or ask for condiments etc. They needed more help! We waited from being seated to getting our food for 1 hour. Breakfast shouldn't take that long to prep. I had the pancakes which were very fluffy and good. Decorations were minimal but nice. It was a lot brighter than I expected.More

We had a late night prime rib here, the meal was very good and very filling. I usually hate brussel sprouts but the way they cook them was delicious. The staff were also very nice and the room was well spaced out for COVID. I...would recommend it.More

My friends and I spent a few nights at the El Cortez Casino and Hotel and had breakfast and dinner at Siegel's 1941. Breakfast was uneventful for one of us due to a piece of hair found in her breakfast. Dinner made up for the...mishap earlier. She ordered pot roast and 2 of us ordered the 1/2 roasted chicken. The roasted chicken was delicious! It pretty much fell off the bone. It was served in a broth with carrots and celery. What was missing was the dinner bread or rolls that should have been served with the dinner. As both dishes, the pot roast and roasted chicken had broth that deserved to be sopped up with bread or over rice. Our server wasn't the best. I'm not sure if it's policy to charge to replace a vegetable for a different vegetable or perhaps she didn't know what she was talking about. But if it's the restaurant policy to charge to replace one vegetable for the next, they might want to rethink that. We almost walked across the street to the Thai restaurant but decided to stay at Siegel's. If you decide to go for dinner, please try the roasted chicken. It's most definitely a winner. I'm sorry I didn't take a picture guys. I inhaled the entire 1/2 chicken 😁More
