The first thing I noticed on entering was that the hostess said we had to scan a QR code and access the menu on our phones. I tried, and the process was not obvious. To get to their wifi you had to scroll through a...huge list of networks. When you finally selected theirs it took a full 90 seconds before a login page came up. What you had to do to login was not obvious and when I asked for help the hostess acted very annoyed. After clicking the right button another screen came up where you had to select from Google, Facebook, or email -- just what I need -- to sign up to get more commercial spam. We stood there like dummies for a while before someone bothered to show us to our table. Another hostess finally came by and said they could give us paper menus. The food selection was curious. Most of the burgers or chicken items came with icky cheeses and aioli. Nothing basic for people who don't like that stuff. Their pizzas had feta cheese or shaved parmesan. Again no normal pizza. Just so-called gourmet stuff. I got an ahi tuna salad. The poke-like tuna was good. It was seasoned with a nice ginger sesame dressing. The rest of the salad -- greens, tomatoes, cuckes, avocados, quinoa was very ample. Unfortunately it was tasteless. There was only enough of the tasty dressing to cover the tuna. None penetrated into the rest of the salad. Because of the sketchy service I didn't bother to ask for more. The outdoor seating is really pleasant. I suppose if you are an affluent 20-something who wants to be seen there and enjoys overpriced drinks and burgers slathered with the kind of goop often featured on TV gourmet chef shows you might like this place.More

Outdoor seating was brilliant! The burger I ordered was pretty good, the sweet potato fries were excellent, and beer was great. The issue was the brownie dessert was on the burnt side being way too hard to eat. Excellent service.

Always...always get the parmesan truffle fries. I could go just for these and they are part of their happy hour "Recess". Crushed velvet is my drink of choice when here as it is a mule with a berry flavor. So yummy. My husband always gets...the wings and they also have a great flatbread we enjoy. They have a great kids meal for those with little ones. Good servers as well.More

Came here for a quick beer and was happy to see it was happy hour. $5 Beer and a nice selection of small bites. Cool location upstairs with outdoor seating.

Had family in town and we were so excited to take them here for the games, atmosphere and the “what came first” sandwich. We understand with COVID they now have a limited menu, no more “what came first” but normally all of their dishes come...with so much flavor, we weren’t worried too much. Service was pleasant and friendly, but the food was awful. Out of 8 people, none of us finished our meals... even the kids. Everything was either terribly bland or cold. I hope somehow they are able to fix the issue as normally the food is great! For now, just go next door to Lazy Dogs, great food and worth the wait (there’s a reason why they’re always packed)More

I recently ordered two meals to go from this restaurant: fish and chips and also fish tacos. Unfortunately, there was hardly any fish in either entree. Both were simply fried batter with almost no fish. We won't be ordering fish and chips or fish tacos...from this restaurant again.More

We were staying close on business and decided to try the Happy Hour. We found the options to be good and ended up with a good variety to share. The outside seating was great.

My first time at Public School 702, excellent crispy fish tacos and service. The decor and atmosphere was unique.

We has the spicy buffalo cauliflower appetizer to start and was excellent. We ordered it a second time during happy hour. Followed up with the bison burger protein style and enjoyed it. Roasted peanuts Cole slaw was a nice change from traditional slaw.

This visit was for happy hour and it was a major disappointment. The options are not are as varied as they were previously, the menu has changed and the portions are small. The tacos on the happy hour menu are not cheap and you can...eat one with two bites. Service in the bar area was excellent, but the place is huge and is always empty when we visit. Another problem is the bar is on the complete opposite side of the restaurant from where the food is prepared. No fault of the wait staff, but the food cools down from the long walk back to the bar area where you have to be seated for happy hour. Odd!More
