Welcome to Capo's Italian Steakhouse & Speakeasy! Our luxurious mob-style restaurant, speakeasy theme, live nightly entertainment, and incredible food will truly offer an evening that you won't find anywhere else in Las Vegas. Growing up with his family’s Italian restaurants in Chicago and inspired by the mobster era, Nico Santucci created Capo’s, a real “speakeasy” featuring actual Al Capone’s Family Secret sauces on our "made-man" pastas. We have served nearly a million diners, no small feat for an independently owned restaurant, and are known for our famous meatballs... Capo's is the kind of place that could be your home away from home - we offer a vast menu of traditional family specialties…
Thank you Yelpers for allowing me to find this diamond! It is far from the Strip but well worth the cab ride. But make reservations! This place is busy, and for good reason.
As a San Francisco native, we are picky about our food, and...Italian is no exception.
This is exactly as I would have pictured a 20's speakeasy and everyone is in character. The entertainment was wonderful, and added to the dining experience. Walking in the aroma of garlic filled the air!
We had :
“The Chef Sleeps with Fishes”- Jumbo shrimp, sun dried tomatoes & prosciutto tossed in a garlic cream sauce over fettuccine. Perfect balance of cream and tomatoes! Pasta was flawless.
My GF self had “Gotti’s Chicken Angelo” - Chicken breast sautéed with artichoke hearts, roasted red potatoes & mushrooms in a lemon white wine sauce. Chicken was moist and the sauce had me wanting to lick the plate.
This place would do really well in San Francisco too!More
From the moment we rang the bell to get let into the restaurant til we left...this was a dining experience like no other. We came early for the HH drinks and appetizers (which are only served at the bar) and definitely worth it...half price apps...and $8 speciality cocktails. We then got seated at a booth table and entertainment started...it was my best mob experience. Food was awesome, drinks strong and it was definitely a memorable Vegas experience.More
I have been to Capis many times and always given 5 star reviews- Unfortunately today is a exception. The service was sub par- having to wait 20 minutes after seated to get water, drink orders and bread 30 minutes later. It appears the service staff...is not very coordinated- The food was sub par compared to previous visits . Chicken was dry and lacked any flavor- Sadly I will not repeat as there are many other choices in townMore
We frequent this restaurant once every 2 months. However, during Covid, only 4 times in a year and boy things have changed;
1. Service- poor. We waited 10 minutes to order drinks and another 15 minutes to order food. Each time we needed something we...had to ask the buser to find 0ur server.
2. Drinks- costly and poured light (watery)
3. Food- very disappointed- wife ordered Sawed Off Sausage & Peppers. No where on the menu, nor the did server point out, that this dish was on FIRE! It was so hot that my wife ate only 1/4th of the meal. Shoving bread and wine down to be able to tolerate the meal. When the meal was picked up, we were asked if we wanted a doggie bag, we said no and shared it was too hot to eat. Nothing was said or asked about all the food not being eaten. Nothing was offered as compensation.
4. Special occasion- don’t bother telling them. We listed our 48th anniversary on the reservation; the host asked us if that was us with 48 years and NOTHING was said or offered by the server.
5. Price - typically not a problem but $210 for four drinks, one appetizer and four pasta dishes...that weren’t that great...thats a high ticket.
All in all a total disappointment this time around. Hopefully next time will be better.More
Password required to enter ...cool experience. Very dark classy speak easy. Drinks are great. Staff are very friendly but maybe a little slow. Full house Saturday evening Live entertainment which was nice. Meatballs appetizers are huge...be aware. Chicken Capones Cabonera very good. Seafood is not...that fresh. Overall very satisfying and reasonable prices. Look forward to returning.More
