I just visited this restaurant with my friends and if we weren’t going back to Ireland tomorrow we’d be going straight back. We shared the meatballs to start that our exceptional waiter Francisco recommended and he was spot on they were by far the best meatballs I have ever tried. For main course I got the chicken parm which Francisco also recommended and he was 2 for 2. The portion was massive and it was phenomenal. We finished with the cannolis for dessert and same again the best cannolis I’ve ever tried. The prices might be a little high but it is absolutely worth every bit of it. There was live music too and the singer was really talented she sang lots of really good songs and sang them very well, it really tied the whole experience together. The customer service was definitely the best we had in Vegas everyone was so nice and caring, they truly want you to have a good time in there. We’d like to thank Fransisco again his recommendations were spot on, he did his job extremely well and was good fun too. If I’m in Vegas again I will definitely be coming back.

This place was really cool. Love the schtick of the speakeasy and the hidden door. Only issue is the waiting area to get in was small and not air conditioned. Once inside, the restaurant is dimly lit to continue building on the brand. The had lounge singers going the whole time we were there. The service was excellent and the food was amazing. One word of note is that the food is served family style so either come extremely hungry or be prepared to share. The meatballs were fabulous and the cannoli's were some of the best I have ever had.

Good shrimp scampi. They could’ve given more pasta because there was a lot of juice. It is homemade pasta, which is very good. We had reservations And arrived first, but we went to the back of the building. The entrance is where the black door and the red c is painted on the door. But our Uber driver dropped us off at the back. We were knocking on the door when another couple arrived and a party of four when we all realize we had to go around the building it was unfortunate but they all hurry to the front door and didn’t allow us to go in first. the couple that cut us off actually got the full experience of knocking on the door and the guy answering through the little hole. We had a show that evening unfortunately they sat everybody else except us and asked if we could wait 15 minutes I then explained that we had a show so then the meter D told us he’d see us , I noticed that couple who cut us off was in the nice booth. I mentioned to him it was unfortunate that they cut us off because we would’ve gotten that booth instead of the table right near the kitchen. I’m not sure if he was playing the role but he mentioned $100 tip. We didn’t comment and he saw us at the table by the kitchen. We have front row seats for the singer who was really good playing Frank Sinatra Dean Martin type of music. It is a dark place, but we expected that. It’s very unique. we had their arugula salad as an appetizer. We’re glad we went to this restaurant. They were really busy. It was just unfortunate that we had to experience being seated last when we were first. I wonder if They really did tip them $100 or was he kidding. Our waiter had a nice personality and kept using the phrase. Forget about it whenever he came to our table. If you’re taking in a show, make sure you give yourself enough time and just stay on the servers so that they could get you your check and everything so you won’t be late. It is off the strip, but it’s not that far. We noticed some people were dressed as the roaring 20s And they told me they were just dressing up for fun and some of them we’re going to 20s style bar later as well

The food was enjoyable, and the service was adequate, but the Speakeasy atmosphere was underwhelming. The "ambiance" was nothing more than standard dim lighting—be sure to have your phone's flashlight handy just to read the menu. Cocktails were outrageously overpriced. A Manhattan on the rocks? $24—plus an extra $1 for the ice. Yes, you read that right. They charge an additional dollar for ice. Service left much to be desired. When a busboy was clearing dishes, one of our group accidentally spilled his wife's coffee. No one offered to assist or replace the drink—something we would expect from a fine dining establishment. The worst part? They presented a single check for our group of three couples, expecting us to sort out the bill among ourselves. While this may be common for large parties, for three couples, it was unacceptable—especially since they never informed us in advance. While these may seem like minor inconveniences to some, they highlight the difference between a truly fine dining experience and an average restaurant. We’ve crossed Capo’s Speakeasy off our list and won’t be returning—or recommending it to others.

Other than the unique entry, there is no reason to come all the way here. The food and timing of service were lacking in all respects. We were offered cocktails and they arrived half way through the meal. None of us wanted the cocktails at that point and I left half of mine, which was not a good cocktail to begin with. Server apologized twice but drinks should have been taken off the bill or food held back. The food (main course) arrived within minutes after ordering, which is never a good thing. The server tried to upsell everything, particularly the meatballs, which I agreed to add to my pasta but they were nothing to encourage people to have. They were dry and tasteless. The pasta was embarrassing for an Italian restaurant. Soggy, drenched in sauce, and we could have sworn the carbonara was pasta Alfredo but they said it was carbonara when it arrived. Really overpriced for the quality. Server did ask about unfinished meals and we probably should have told him why, but couldn’t be bothered at that point. Would not return. Really surprised at all the positive reviews.

We were attracted to capos because it sounded like a Nifty place, like an old mob hang out and we liked the cute references on the menu and password to get in , but the reality of the situation was different when we pulled up they had one of John Gotti's old cars there and it was more of a carnival atmosphere when they wanted to take your picture in front of it before you went in the door. They also didn't recognize the password we had been given and finally just asked us for our names. It was so dark inside it was beyond belief and I noticed my shoes were sticking to something on the carpet. There was a lounge singer who was not too bad, singing standards but had a very inferior sound system. One seated my wife just lost her appetite for the place but ordered a Caesar salad which was not good at all . ordered Aribiata, the spicy pasta and thought it was very well done They must have sensed that we didn't like the place because we asked for our check and were totally ignored for 20 minutes. The woman who had waited on us finally came over, very unfriendly and surly, and gave us the check Not a good experience and clearly we will never be back and I think they knew that. Plenty of other good Italian restaurants to eat at in Las Vegas. In fairness I must mention that the place was filled with people obviously a very popular neighborhood hangout.

The best thing about this place was the entertainment. The first guy did excellent Sinatra songs and the second guy did great with Tony Bennett songs. Food- We read reviews about the meatballs being spicy. Our server, Big Al, insisted they weren’t…..listen to me THEY ARE SPICY. It’s not really peppers it’s more of a spicy gardiniera mixed in the sauce. The bolognese was nothing more than basic tomato sauce not true bolognese. Very disappointing. Thank goodness the chicken parm was decent so we shared that. The waiter never questioned why my pasta was uneaten but just cleared the plate. Drinks- Our mixed drinks were decent but priced high for off strip. My hubby ordered an espresso martini but the waiter misinterpreted what was said and 2 came. I decided to be a good sport, even though I’m not a fan of these martinis, and drink the 2nd one. I tried but ended up not finishing it. When the bill came we were shocked to see they each cost $25 🤨 That’s strip pricing honestly. There’s waaaay better Italian on and off strip for what we paid here and we won’t be back.

We were looking for dinner spot off the strip, came across Capo’s on a google search and made a reservation. 15 min Uber ride from New York New York ($15), this place was fun and food was phenomenal, you walk in and ring the bell for a secret door thats disguised with an old fashion pay phone, OK… the first thing you notice is how dark it is, for me a little too dark (my only issue with the place) I guess that’s going with the speakeasy vibe so I rolled with it. Walked past the bar, complete with tv playing Goodfellas with no sound, to our table in the back, a singer singing old rat pack style songs as background music that worked perfectly for the vibe, the service was excellent and the food was top notch, I’m from NYC and the food here is right up there with my favorite Italian restaurants. Large portions, My entree was the lasagna, easily could have shared with my wife and still had leftovers, the rest of my party had Chicken parmigiana, sausage and peppers (spicy, nice kick) and Caesar salad with a meatball (server said they are known for their meatballs) I did try the sausage and peppers and the chicken parm, my brother devoured the meatball like Pac-Man before I could try it (but my lasagna was stuffed with sausage and meatballs so I know how good it was) everything was really good, then dessert, homemade tiramisu and Cannolis to die for, and in the end the price was very reasonable, dinner for 4 with tip cost us $300, waited 7 mins for an Uber back to strip….when ever I go back to Vegas this is a must…loved it

If you are in Vegas and want to eat well away from the hustle and bustle of the Strip, Capo's Restaurant!!! We found the restaurant via a platform. It looks rather inconspicuous from the outside, typically American. But inside it is a bit dark but very cozy. The entry procedure alone :-), but you'll be surprised. The food is typically American-Italian. Great value for money. You must try the meat balls. But be careful, the special sauce is something special. We'll be back.

I went there because a local friend of mine praised it highly. From the outside, it looks like a shack. First, when you press the doorbell, a funny doorman comes out and lets you in. There was a live singer singing, and I realized I was in Las Vegas! It seemed like we were the only Asians there, so I wondered for a moment if it was okay. My friend told me that the lasagna was excellent, but I don't like cheese very much, so I asked the waiter to add shrimp to the penne pasta called "arrabbiata." To my surprise, it was the first delicious pasta I'd had in a long time in America. My son had penne with sausage and red peppers in a black sauce, which was sweet and spicy and very delicious. For appetizers, we ordered calamari and arugula salad, which was also delicious. It suits Japanese tastes. My husband had steak, which he said was delicious. Then, while we were eating, a cute woman came over and suddenly showed us a magic trick. I was surprised again, but he showed us magic tricks that were better than most magicians. My husband and children were very impressed! We live in LA, but if our friends from Japan come to visit, we will definitely take them here. I am so grateful to the acquaintance who told me about it!

It is crowded, can be a bit noisy and reservations are a must. Once you’re ready to go text them for the pass word. You will know you’re not in a normal restaurant as soon as you enter. The frenetic pace seems disjointed but it is well orchestrated. Sitting at your table you expect to mobsters at every table, though you just might. Music on weekends enhance the experience. The food is good, the waiters friendly and once you are finished you can’t wait to bring some unsuspecting friends here as we do often. If you want an off the strip experience this is the place.

Ok, so these were the comments of the people in the car. I don't think we're going the right way, this can't be right, we're in a residential neighborhood, is this place in the basement of the church, are we there? As a stand alone Bldg in a parking lot with store fronts you pull up to an unassuming bldg. But it's speakeasy so it should be unassuming right! You enter at what feels like the side/end of the Bldg and your experience begins. I won't give anything else away, as you must experience it first hand but if you're going for dinner make a reservation. We went on a Monday because Mondays appetizers are 50% off and we had just arrived in Vegas. The appetizers were outstanding, especially the mushroom caps! We sat at the bar, no reservations necessary but it's not a huge area so you might want to go early. From the naturally in character gentleman who let us in and seated us to our bartender/waiter we were enthralled with the whole atmosphere. We had a blast and I think you would too. Check it out!

This place was great and we enjoyed it immensely. It is not on the Vegas strip and requires reservations. If you do not make reservations then do not expect to get in through the secret entrance. Once inside, the place is dimly lit, with live singing…definitely a speakeasy vibe. All meals are named after famous mobsters and the mobster salad would be highly recommended. Cheapest meal is $29 but the food is fabulous, the portions generous and it well worth the cost. The service was phenomenal and the ambiance was great. The exit made us giggle, so from start to finish this was a wonderful and fun dining experience

We went to Capo’s for my husband’s birthday. First, we had no idea they were still doing their New Years Eve Menu on New Years Day. And that was not on the website when I made the reservations. It stated New Years Eve Special, not New Years Day. The special was a four course meal. We each had to order an appetizer, soup or salad, entree and a desert, from a set menu of choices at $70 each. We had been looking forward to the night so we decided to go ahead and have dinner. Well we wish we hadn’t. The food was mediocre, the stuffed mushrooms we way over salted, the fried raviolis were mushy and the sauce cold. One of our guests are diabetic and asked for a dry salad, but the salad with the raviolis was dressed. The salads had way too much dressing and were soggy. The entrees were not impressive either. The sauce on my pasta was watery and lacked flavor. My husbands lasagne lacked sauce and didn’t have the creamy texture you expect from lasagna, due to the lack of cheese. It took forever to get our desert. My cannoli was tiny, especially compared to to cheesecake my husband got. We probably could have fit three or four into his cheesecake. The tiramisu my daughter ordered was ok, nothing to write home about. When we got the bill, we realized that there was a gratuity of 20% already included. We were only a table of 4 and the service was not that great. Our drinks were left empty, hot plates were handed to us from across the table, with no warning they were hot and we had to wait a long time for dessert. No one ever ever checked on us to ask how the food was or how we were doing. Our bill was almost $400 (only 1 alcoholic drink). My husband compared our experience as to being robbed without a gun. We will not be returning or recommending this establishment which is too bad, as we had high hopes and had really been looking foreword to celebrating my husbands birthday at Capos.

Visited Capo’s during our visit to Las Vegas after seeing it on a TV show. The idea of visiting a speakeasy themed restaurant intrigued us and we were not disappointed. We had a reservation for 2 people at 6pm and there were no issues with being seated after a rather fun entrance and interaction with the host! We were seated at a table directly in front of the live entertainment, a lady with a lovely voice, singing songs that made you think you were back in the 1950’s. Capo’s has a mob theme and the vibes there are very “Goodfellas” which we thoroughly enjoyed. Service was really good, our server attentive throughout our time there. The menu is extensive with something for everyone and dishes given mob themed names. The food; we opted to skip starters and we ordered “Santucci’s pasta” with a meatball and “Capone’s Carbonara”. The food was delicious, the portions huge and neither of us were able to finish our dish. The drinks were tasty with a lot of booze (I recommend the mango martini) and average Vegas prices. I would recommend anyone visiting Vegas go to Capo’s for the food and the experience.
