Sen of Japan is my quaint little local Spot. They have the BEST service the moment you walk in. From the hostess to my favorite waiter: Alex. They treat their employees well and you can feel it from the energy they enthusiastically display when discussing...the food. They’ve got some of the BEST sushi chefs in vegas!! The king crab roll, black cod lettuce wraps and the Hawaiian edamame topped with either the flourless chocolate cake or almond cake is a MUST!! HIGH quality food for reasonable prices. Can’t wait to go back next week haha!More

This place is off the strip and worth the 20 minute drive. Reservarions for a business dinner of 6 at 7:30pm. They were ready and sat us a bit early, 7:15pm. Rick was our waiter for the night. The restaurant is so clean and not...crowded with tables and chairs. Restroom is very clean, male and female separated. Our waiter, RICK, recommended the Rick's Omakase (server choose everything for us). Rick choose every single thing we ate and drank. He served us the Wakatake green saki, So refreshing!!! Then he brought us the Soto saki, also cold, a little better on the taste buds. Rick listened to what we commented on all food and adjusted our menu as needed. We ordered a roll with serrano chiles and the chef placed one piece alone on a plate for my friend. This was done many times to accommodate her weakness for spicy foods. This is the first place I have ever been to and been made to feel like family. The Chef prepared every dish with exactly 6 pieces so everyone one of us tasted a piece. My most fav sushi, besides ALL of them, was the garlic shrimp!! Absolutely loved it here!! Will return and you should make this a must stop if you are ever in the area!!!More

Casey greeted us and we felt welcome right away. She was so nice. The food was awesome, fresh and absolutely delicious. We met the Manager and he was so friendly, we went back a week later and he remembered us right away. That's what I...call customer service! We live 45 minutes away but the is definitely our new place.More

My Husband and I have been dining here for years! The fish is super fresh and the menu is very creative. The chefs are very accommodating and the service is excellent. We have been to the high end Sushi Strip restaurants and this place beats...them all. You will be pleasantly surprised by the quality and presentation of the dishes. It is well worth the Uber ride from the strip to dine here!! The prices are great and the selection of fish and meat have something for everyone!! Just had New Year's Eve dinner here last night and it was one of the best meals we ever had!!More

I go to Vegas multiple times a year for the last 8 years and I wanted an off the strip local experience... this place was easy to find, clean, friendly and attentive service with great food at good prices. I would come back here when...in Vegas. You don’t get the glamour of the strip but get great quality ingredients authentically preparer and your wallet won’t be screamingMore

Visiting Las Vegas with a friend, who had been here before. The best tuna nigiri and Toro I have had. Great saki collection. Service was attentive and friendly. Will definitely come back every time I am in Las Vegas. Unsure where the bad reviews are...coming from as we had a great experience!More

Came here because of a friend and considered de-friending him after. He wanted to keep food cost down by driving 20 minutes from the strip but that didn’t help because it was still expensive for below average food. The food here is ridiculously bad with...tempura that has carnival battered veg and beef dishes that smell of sour meat which gave me a gut ache within an hour. Service is ok but didn’t make up for being out of several dishes at 7:30pm (restaurant was 1/3 full but they ran out of dumplings?) and the sushi was below average. Hard to believe we raced here because they threatened to cancel our reservation if we were 30 mins late despite the restaurant being empty. This place is barely hanging on and one of the worst restaurants I’ve ever been to so save your time and money and look elsewhere. Please.More

This place uses less sauce and more natural fresh ingredients to compliment each fish. No need for soy sauce here. The most fresh and flavorful sushi in town. Better than Nobu, Yellowtail, Sushi Samba, and Roku. And....there’s late night happy hour 😇😇😛😋

I tried this restaurant for the first time but it definitely won't be the last! The sushi was delicious and extremely fresh. The preparation and presentation was beautiful. Excellent service as well. They also have a late night happy hour!

The food was EXCELLENT! My husband is a foodie and he enjoyed everything. I don't usually like fish but I had buttered cod on lettuce and it was excellent
