Went back for a birthday celebration. Worst service, cold food, food poisoning! To top it off, they didn't return the American Express card making is have to return to Downtown Las Vegas ruining the last day in Vegas. Never again! Not even with the fr3eal they offered if we ever go back!

My wife and I dined here over the Columbus Day Weekend (Saturday night). I loved the pizza! The restaurant wasn't too busy there was no wait. We did have to wait about 10 minutes just to order water. Waited about 30 minutes for our food. The waiter did apologize blaming the computer system back up for the long wait. We... More

Once again, beautiful food, fantastic service from our waitress Taya, and another young guy, didn't get his name. I had the linguine piscatory. All the seafood was super fresh. All in all a great restaurant for Italian food. Best to reserve a table as it is always packed.

Located in the GoldenNugget this Italian restaurant is one that we've been wanting to try for so long. Unfortunately for us it did not live up to its hype and reviews. The service was very good unfortunately the food was just okay. I had the chicken ravioli it was lukewarm and very tasteless. My husband had the roast chicken he... More

We were lucky to drop into the Golden Nugget after 1030 pm to visit this restaurant. We sat at the bar and enjoyed $8 pizza and happy hour drinks. The pizza was cooked in a wood fired oven and was great. We will probably visit again

We just ate at the Grotto inside The Golden Nugget. Fantastic service, fun location near Fremont Street. My husband had a pizza and he said it was great! I'm allergic to Gluten and they offered me multiple options including salmon, rotisserie chicken and two types of GF pasta. Will definitely return.

We had spent the afternoon downtown and I had booked us a table here. We had bar snacks in the afternoon which was lovely and tasty but dinner was sooooooo disappointing. Our waiter was so moody. This is rare in Vegas as people work for tips. Even if they are moody you still have to give them tips. Joy! We... More

We didn't have a reservation, but was seated pretty quickly. Once seated, it took along time for service. Food was good. Had the pizza and it was a thin crust with very good flavor. Overall, if the waiter was more friendly they would have scored higher.

The Grotto Restaurant is located in the Golden Nugget Hotel in downtown Las Vegas. I was staying at the hotel and went to the restaurant for the first time because it was convenient. I was in the mood for Italian food but didn't expect anything special when I went there. I was quite surprised by the outstanding quality of the... More

Tried the Grotto for dinner whilst exploring Fremont street. Figured of all the places that restaurant in the Golden Nugget would at least be worth a shot. Restaurant was not even 60% full but service was still pretty terrible. Server (older lady, think United flight attendant scowl) took our order, disappeared for 15 minutes. No water, bread, contact of any... More
