This is a really good restaurant. Lots of choices, authentic northern and southern Italian food. The pizza is very, very good. Good wine list and the service is very good. Have never waited for a table.

you can sit at the bar, you can have a fine meal, the dessert options are good, it is nice to be able to sit and watch the big fish/shark tank. The food menu has lots of options, huge portions, we could have shared a meal here. Food was very good, a little slow on the service.

Our food was delicious and the atmosphere is high-end without being stuffy. You can see the pool and water slide through the glass from the restaurant. Dessert cart looked very tempting, but we were too full.

In my weeks stay at Golden Nugget I dined here 4 times. They bring you water and bread with a olive oil based dip right away! I enjoyed the rigitoni with the meatballs as well as the chicken Marsala The food was flavorful and served hot. We were never rushed and usually had to ask for our check. My husband... More

This Italian Resturant located inside the Golden Nugget. The bread was served warm with a nice crunchy crust. Great way to start off the meal. The Penne Diavolo had just the right hot with very tender chicken, asparagus with a nice crunch and mushrooms. The chicken parmigiana was moist and just the right amount. Finished with the chocolate tort which... More

We visited The Grotto twice during our stay at the Nugget. Both times the food was excellent and the service was very good! There was a great lunch special (salad) and the menu selection is diverse enough to eat there more than once if you are staying at the Golden Nugget or elsewhere on Fremont Street. The pizzas looked good... More

We were meeting someone downtown and wanted a nice restaurant for my birthday meal. Grotto was suggested to us. It is in the Golden Nugget downtown. We had great service and the food was excellent. Stuffed mushrooms, calamari and wine. Yummy. We also ordered a main dish and shared a couple of deserts. The cheesecake is huge, share it. Our... More
