We had en excellent meal at Japonais. The three of us shared a bottle of sake - well worth the price. We had several rolls as appetizers. Particularly good was the yellowtail special roll. We followed this with sea bass entree and duck, both excellent.

Had a quick dinner at the bar that was absolutely delicious. The salmon was so fresh and the yellowtail appetizer delicious. I went twice over 4 days!

We had tickets to see Love and decided it would be easiest to dine at the Mirage to avoid potential transportation issues. We chose Japonais because the online menu listed Ahi Tuna steaks. Unfortunately, they had just changed to a new menu and the ahi was no longer on the list. BUT we were still so glad we had chosen... More

Our experience was ruined by thoughtless wait staff and management due to their lack of concern at all over one of our guest's meal being delivered 30min + later than the rest. His order was sashimi and their excuse was they were backed up with lounge orders. The restaurant itself was half full. All that was offered in consideration was... More

It's sometimes true we don't see what is in our own back yard. We have been to a conference at the Mirage three years in a row and never took the opportunity to try Japonais. This year we did and WOW...it is outstanding. Perhaps because it's the off season, but they were't busy during prime dinner hours. The service, the... More

Restaurant Week brought me here. Like many Japanese restaurants, expect food to be salty. Presentation and service was excellent. Ceviche was excellent, calamari was the best ever. Salmon beautifully done.

The beer selection was interesting - options not found in the casino. The food was pretty good - its pricey like the rest of the strip.

The duck with mu shu pancakes will stand out in my mind as one of my favorite all-time meals. Everything was very good, but the duck was just outstanding. Don't miss it!

Great service, delicious food! Wait staff is excellent and will guide you through the menu. Order a variety and share, it is fun. I feel like I leave the casino when eating here. It is quiet and relaxing. My favorite place to eat in the Mirage!

We were going to the Cinque Soliel Love show and make a reservation for 5:30 to be sure to get to the show at 7 pm. They called us back and asked if we would be willing to have dinner at 5 pm as a company had reserved the restaurant starting at 7. Not a problem and it turned out... More
