This restaurant has great Thai food and a unique ambience - almost a fusion of French and Thai. The restaurant is definitely family owned and the servers are attentive. The food was excellent, my only complaint would be that the chicken was slightly overcooked (dry). I had the Pad Thai. I had to remind my server about my beer order... More

We went here because my wife is Thai and she wanted to try Thai food in Vegas, but we were disappointed because all food we got was very sweet and teriyaki chicken was very hard for chewing, don't recommend this place.

We went to Satay because we wanted a meal that was a little cheaper and away from the strip. Overall we were pleased with this restaurant. We went late on a Tuesday night. There wasn't a wait and the servers were attentive. We had the Thai jerky as an appetizer (I think that was what it was called) and it... More

We had appetizers and a buffet style dinner especially prepared for the group. The restaurant can comfortably accommodate a group of about 50 with prior notice. A larger group will require closing the restaurant for other customers. The food was tasty .The service could have been better. The same waiters and waitresses were serving our group and the other customers.... More

The chef's garlic eggplant is wonderful. The fried rice is outstanding. Also, they have very good peanut sauce. You can dine in or order for delivery.

Done with Vegas and Done with The Strip. Got time for the flight. So, we search on TripAdvisor for a Thai restaurant away from Strip. So, we hesitantly enter in to this restaurant in a non-descript strip mall. We ordered Tea, Pad Thai, some chicken dishes and Roti Canai. Each and very dish was made to perfection. Very close to... The entrepreneurial spirit and the passion for cooking span generations in the Low Family. Grandma was a chef who catered to thousands of farmers and factory workers in the home town of Penang, Malaysia while Mama Low continued the culinary tradition by opening a catering business when the family migrated to Tacoma, Washington in the early 80's.In 2005, the "kids", along with Mama Low, relocated to Las Vegas to open what's known today as SATAY - Thai Bistro & Bar. The use of the freshest ingredients and flavorful spices and herbs in all their unique dishes were recognized by Las Vegas Weekly Magazine in 2008 when SATAY was named the "Best Asian Restaurant in Las Vegas." Today, SATAY and its now 14 member staff remain dedicated to catering to the appetites of the local communities and conventioneers. If you love food as much as SATAY does, you're definitely in for an unforgettable dining experience!
