If you're hungry you'll be more than satisfied. Coffee very drinkable, portions are huge and service is friendly. Sourdough melt and turkey club (or sharing half each with a friend creating an excellent combo) is exactly what we wanted to set us up for a days driving.

Well, this was our first trip to Vegas for quite a few years. We were looking for a good restaurant on the strip. Black Bear Diner was GREAT meeting all or expectations. We were pleased beyond compare. The food was delicious, service quick, & prices fabulous. The food portions were huge. The food quality was also good. This restaurant was... More

If you're tired of the overpriced and overhyped places to eat on the strip, beat a retreat down to Tropicana Ave to the Black Bear. Our party of 6 came in about 30 minutes before closing and it was no problem. We even came back for breakfast the next day. As many reviewers have said before me, the portions are... More

We had terrific food, and fine service -- went back twice in our week's stay in Vegas -- Our grandkids loved it, and loved the bears at the front door!

Visited yesterday for Brunch. All three in our party LOVED it! This is a local Mom & Pop diner (voted best diner in Vegas again this year). It is not a corp. store like the Green Valley Location. We live much closer to Green Valley store, but we would drive to this one every time. The difference in food taste,... More

Had supper on July 4th - the place was nearly empty. Both the service and the food were good. Very pleasant dining after driving 12 hours that day. Would definitely recommend this place.

Almost retro like, atmosphere, food, service and reasonable prices. A nice surprise when in Vegas. It is not always about the strip or buffet. Men enjoyed their breakfast, myself, open face turkey (the real thing) even with cranberries. Our waitress very informative as menu was overwhelming. Here for 9 days, on our list to return!

Whenever I come to Vegas we have to go to the Black Bear Diner on Tropicana. We were met by a very friendly waitress named Dawn and were given menus and we ordered a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice, they have the machine right there and you can watch them squeeze the oranges for your table. We all ordered... More

Always consistently good. I got the chicken and waffles and my husband the pot roast. Both were excellent. Great comfort food here. Cute decor.
