Was looking for late night eats and found Paymon’s on Sahara. Had great reviews. It was Sunday so decided to call in advance to ask when they closed and was told midnight. I specifically asked if they would still be serving gyros until midnight and...was told that they would. I drove 25 minutes one way and arrived at 11pm. Once inside I had to hunt someone down. I asked to be seated for dinner and was told the kitchen closed at 10pm. I informed this person of my earlier conversation on the phone and was told “it must have been a miscommunication”. I drove back to my hotel another 25 minutes. I will never return to this establishment.More

I was really looking forward to going here as I had been there before everything changed I told the waitress when the food came out it wasn’t even warm she just said oh Gyros plates $36 before tip it certainly wasn’t worth it there are...many other places that are far superior even cost much less All the pieces I got or very dark it seems like cooked too long, days old and re-cooked for far too long Waitress & even the man that brought it out I said how did it come out a couple of minutes after I ordered it he just didn’t seem to care when I told her I even said I should just pack it up and take it home soI can eat it hot. She brought a box rather then she should have offered another plate & took mine back! I did bring it home but it was so dried out after heating it for 20 seconds I just ended up throwing it away. I would not recommend going here if you want real Mediterranean food there’s a place called Market Grill another one called Yashou - Luna Grill a chain but moist and never microwaved their meat is always fresh carved when you order.More

Sad to say, Paymon’s has gone down hill in the quality of their food and the service. We have given it 3 tries recently and each time, it was disappointing. From the calamari, to the gyro pita sandwich, the Greek salad to the hummus, it...was all lame. Calamari was overdone, gyro has gotten smaller with Very little onion, lettuce and tomato on it(but the price went up over $3.00), hummus had NO taste(we believe they forgot the seasonings) and the large Greek salad had limp lettuce with no presentation on the plate and way too much dressing. We were told they have a new chef/preparer in the kitchen. Tables with used plates, glasses, napkins left for a long time. Patrons shouldn’t have to look at that. Service was minimal. Not sure what is going on but it’s Not the Paymon’s we knew.More

It’s better than any other Mediterranean restaurants we have been to! Food looked smelled and tasted great. Friendly service in an exhaustive setting.

My family loves payments I personally love the chicken kebabs and rice some of the best I’ve ever had is from Paymon’s. They also have a cool interior and a hookah lounge next-door. The service is always good

Got together with four friends and we all shared the COMBO APPETIZER PLATTER, LENTIL SOUP, SPANAKOPITA (SPINACH PIE), ROASTED BEET SALAD, CHICKEN PESTO PANINI; all were YUMMY! Took home the TILAPIA FLORENTINE for my hubby who said it was very good, I didn't even have...a chance to sample it so it must have been!! I definitely recommend it and will return again!More

We have dined here for 15 years, never was wowed. We return every several years and still average at best food and service. The decor is nice. The restaurant is always mostly empty with 2-3 tables taken. The Greek and Italian food is not prepared...correctly. I do not enjoy soggy spanikopita when the phyllo dough is to be flaky and crisp. Mousaka and eggplant parm are also fair. Big ongoing disappointment. The adjacent room is popular for houkkah smoking which is not my thing.More

I ordered their Persian specialty, chicken with pomegranate sauce with rice. I didn’t like it. The sauce had a very heavy cinnamon flavor. My friend ordered their tilapia with spinach and pasta. Sounded good, but it was very mediocre. The restaurant is attractive. The menu...is varied. But I highly doubt that we will be back.More

Had a great lunch with friends - we each ordered different things, including appetizer and dessert, and thoroughly enjoyed them all. The service was prompt and efficient and the meals were substantial, well prepared and attractively served! We warned the server at the start that...we would be sitting a bit and visiting during our lunch, and he did a great job of not making us feel rushed throughout our meal. Don't hesitate! Come and enjoy!More

We have dined here many times and always enjoy it. Interior is cozy and a bit dark. Large menu with many delicious dishes. We tend to get the same thing each time we go...just because it is so darn good. The stuffed grape leaves are...DIVINE. The gyro is seriously the best we have had outside of Greece and Turkey. It’s that good. Super soft pita loaded with meat, tomato, purple onion and lettuce. The tzatziki sauce is on it and we always get a small amount on the side. The gyro is very filling. On Wednesday nights after 5pm, bottles of wine are 50% off. A great deal. Service is usually very good. The Hookah Lounge is attached to the restaurant. Sometimes, there has been an odor from the smoke but nothing offensive. The music is a tad loud for us. We enjoy Paymon’s and I can easily recommend it to you.More

Was told they could handle a party of 12 with seperate checks. Arrived and was informed it would be an automatic 18% and one check. They have no idea who answers their online questions. Got there and we were the only customers in the dining...area. Didn’t want us to combine tables. Food was ok but nothing amazing and our server was rushing us the entire time.More
