My partner and I booked the window seat for a romantic evening during our Vegas Vacation. We are both chefs by trade and place a lot of emphasis on quality meals when we travel. We have definitely had better meals but the view was absolutely...unbeatable and worth every penny we spent. The server was kind of goofy but he did a wonderful job of marking the table with appropriate flatware and glassware, de-crumbing, and clearing plates. We had a souvenir photographer approach our table during the entrée service. after dessert we were invited to go up one floor-to the outdoor/open-air observation deck to soak in the lights from the strip. Over-all a good dining experience but not the best meal we ate in Vegas. (We ordered oysters to start, then a NY strip with peppercorn sauce, roast carrots, brussels sprouts with polenta, stuffed lobster tail, Dessert was the sorbet trio.)More

Awful!!! Not only did we wait over an hour for our food it was served cold and overcooked. Our party of 5 paid for the experience to be seated near the window, our server was inattentive the sodas were watered down and a glass of...wine took about 30 mins to received. I would never come back to this restaurant! If I could rate it no stars I would!!!More

Our 10th time or so dining here over past 10 years…this is our favorite Restaurant in the World! Time after time: Consistent Excellent Gourmet Dining with flavorful tastes, visual presentation, attentive servers, and picturesque view of colorful mountains in daytime and Las Vegas lights at...night in this 360 degree revolving restaurant. We chose their Fixed Price Menu of four courses which is now about $110 per person...but YOU get the Best Meal and Experience of Your Life! Among the choices, we selected the beef filet, lobster bisque soup, lobster pasta, and dessert. Includes a tasty bread basket. The dining was fantastic! We added the 21 layer slice of cake as we were celebrating. I attached a picture as it was very impressive in taste, appearance and portion was enough to share for several days. We will not forget this Impressive cake slice and the happy smiles we had when it was served! Our waiter was Brian and he was attentive, friendly and excellent; we recognized him as had him a few years ago. Joaquin was the assistant waiter and he was great again. The sommelier was Richard that night and he was friendly and helpful. The manager, Steve, was going to many customer’s tables, had a nice chat and thanked us for dining with them. Excellent management team and staff! If you always wanted to be treated as a VIP, dine here! Hint, make reservations before you go to Las Vegas for a Sunday - Thursday night as less busy and reserve a table by windows about 45 minutes before sunset on a week night and spend lots of time here to see the beautiful views. We avoid Friday and Saturday nights as very busy and we like to stretch out the meal experience and view. I understand (my brother had owned three restaurants in Iowa) we all are trying to make a living-so we do not want to linger at the table and take more tips away from the hard-working servers during the busy weekends. If you always wanted to be treated as a VIP, dine here!More

We made a booking here and all 5 of us were very excited to have a nice steak with a view, upon arriving 15 minutes before our booking time we were asked to stand and wait with another 15 to 20 people in a cramped...reception area, the reception staff were rude and uninviting, not what I was expecting, about 15 mins later after we asked multiple times we were then rushed to our seats, the table wasn't set and we waited a considerable amount of time to be served even just water or menus, the food itself was mediocre with both the steaks being the wrong types and both undercooked, absolutely the worst service from staff and for me this would be a one and done place, I certainly won't be coming back and will not be telling my friends about this place.More

We ate at the Strat on our first night in Las Vegas. We love exceptional food. The Strat had above average offerings, but not the kind that would make us return. The view was what made the meal memorable. As we ate the restaurant rotated...so slowly we hardly knew it was moving, except that the view changed. The servers were there when they needed to me and we finished the meal shortly after we completed one circuit. Occasionally we saw jumpers go past the window on their quick safe trip to the ground level. We ordered fish, salmon and branzano. Even though I ordered my salmon done medium, it was barely warm. I didn't send it back, because a server did not come by the table before we were done eating.More

Where to begin, well honestly this is a tourist trap. They have a 45 minimum each dinner must spend. The only reason to have dinner here is for the ambience. The staff seemed a bit chaotic maybe because they bumped everyone's reservation up. Our waiter...was good but our food was just not worth what they were asking for. As this was no more then a mediocre chain restaurant meal. Let's say the Mac & Cheese my cousin and I ordered lack flavor an was barely touched meaning 3 bites. My Mash potatoes were , again another lack lust item. The Sea Bass was another failure, but passable. I have the steak which was supposed to be aged but had no flavor. My another cousin enjoyed his meal the Chicken and Broccoli, same to say the safe beat is the Chicken. We also had the had the lobster bisk which was good but the portion was to small. They do have a Somalia but the wine list is limited from what I could tell. The best thing is the view an the company with you.More

The food was just okay. Definitely not worth the price. I made a reservation for 5 on open table and when we got there they put us at a booth of 2 and 3 next to each other. We had to pay $25/pp to sit...next to each other at the upgraded seats by the window. If you couldn’t accommodate for 5 then dont allow a standard reservation to be made. And to make your guests feel hassled to seat with their party isn’t right. Asked for a manager and they sent a black hostess instead...my friends and I are black so we assumed this was to intended to diffuse but it just escalated it. When we finally spoke to a manager he didn’t careMore

The only reason I gave them 3 stars was the views. By the way- you can get these views at other places in Vegas. I live here so I know. First of all it was easy to get reservations. They take a credit card however...in case you don’t show up, they charge you apparently. We were seated about 10 minutes after our reservation time. They were not busy at 6pm so why we had to wait is curious. We had not opted to pay the $25 per person to sit by the window and were so glad we hadn’t. Our booth faced with window looking over the top of the window tables. Our drink orders were taken right away and brought quickly with a complimentary bread basket that had 4 different breads. It was delicious. Once we placed our dinner order it took about 25-30 minutes for our food to arrive. We were not in a hurry and enjoying the views so we were ok with the time. Our food arrived barely warm. Every single dish! I ordered Scallops. They were cooked perfectly but the flavoring in them was not pleasing. The Mac n Cheese was terrible. I could not taste any cheese! It had a pale white cream sauce and it was not hot. My husband ordered the 1/2 pound of Crab Legs. Please see the picture. Two small crab legs was what came out. Half pound they were not. It’s a good thing he had the chopped salad before or he would have been hungry. We had a side of broccolini which was the best things ate. The chopped salad and broccolini are shareable size. We had the 21 Layer Chocolate Cake for dessert. It was beautifully presented and good. A little on the dry side. Our bill with tip was $205. No alcohol. Our service was good. I would never recommend TOW to anyone who loves great food. You can get the same views from the bar one level higher without the dress code or ridiculous food prices.More
