If in the area of Sahara and Jones and searching for a good breakfast stop, The Egg & I is a good choice.

We went back here three times! Ordered banana muffins for a gift...they are so good! I really didn't have anything bad. The butterscotch pancakes were different and we liked them. The French toast sandwich was amazing. The spinach benny was good. Very nice staff. Very busy, so plan to go early. Side note on the birds that someone gave a... More

We drove to the place and the first thing i want to warn people about is the area. Not a good location and I would be holding on to your purses ladies just in case.

I went to some really expensive restaurants while visiting Vegas, and the best tasting food by far was "The Egg & I" I wish we had one in Austin, TX. I enjoyed this more than any breakfast, lunch, or dinner I had on during my stay. I can't say enough. They earned this review!

Our group felt the short wait was well worth it. Friendly service and good food at this bustling location! The sheer amount of traffic here reflects the quality. I had the chili rellenos omelet at the recommendation from our waitress of its popularity, I was not disappointed. The side potatoes were very good as well, and did not come off... More

My family visited this place every day while in Vegas. The breakfast is home cooked and delicious. The portions are huge so you might want to share a plate. You can also order half portions from some items. You have to on the weekdays or wait until after noon on the weekends to avoid the crowd. It is a local... More

I can't believe we waited 30 mins for frozen potatoes, hollandaise sauce that tasted like it came from a package with way too much salt (probably to over compensate for the horrible food) and an under cooked (apparently one of their best offerings) banana muffin. Wish I had contested the bill as the food left me shortly after we paid.

Did not live up to reviews. Coffee tasted burnt. French toast with bacon had almost no bacon in it but it did have someone's hair. My husband's hash was mushy and did not live up to its description. Will never return.

The Egg & I is located in a strip mall about 10 minutes from the strip. It doesn't look like much from the outside but it is truly one of the best breakfast restaurants I have ever visited. There were 9 of us and we all ordered something different. The menu is extensive and has something for everyone. I had... More

I've been to this place a few times, every time in Vegas I tried to go there at least once. It is refreshing to get away from the crowds on the strip and get a taste of where and what the locals eat. This place has an amazing breakfast menu. The portions are huge, satisfying and the food fresh and... More
