We had a recommendation from our hotel staff, and they WERE correct - a little hard to find, but excellent atmosphere, fantastic staff, and the best Sushi we've had in years!
We ordered a number of items, starting with Edmame:
Alert: Must be a Millenial...thing, but the normal Edmane came UNSALTED!!! Our Chef (we sat at the bar) immediately replaced our bowl with the salted version. Whew!!
When we turned in our order, the Chef scanned the list and put them in the appropriate serving order - starting with our California roll!
Each item was a Sushi Fever version, .. the California roll was better than any we have had before, .. the Maguro was excellent, the Crispy Roll was to DIE FOR (this is one of our goto items - the Sushi Fever version is far and away the best)!
All in all, the best Sushi we've had, bar none.More
We had a decent sushi dinner, nothing special, but nothing terrible. Restaurant is very crowded and loud. If you are looking for a nice quiet place with a traditional Japanese vibe, this is NOT your place.
You know Sushi Fever is good because it is always packed. We went early on Sunday night and it was full to capacity. It is also good for children because there are plenty of items that they enjoy. Our favorites are Joe special roll, tempura...roll, Lisa Lisa to name a few. Don't miss the garlic edamame or the chicken katsu.More
I travel for work and cover the Las Vegas market. Every opportunity I stop into Sushi Fever for lunch. The food is fantastic and authentic. I lived in Japan for 3 years and this is the closest I’ve found! Don’t miss out!!!
Great local sushi place in a city with a lot of great sushi. A wide selection of interesting rolls with great dipping sauces. No need to go to the Strip for top notch sushi if you live on the west side of Vegas.
Come here if you really don't like unadulterated fresh raw fish. They have an endless list of creative rolls with the fish covered in so much sauce and fruits, etc, that you won't be able to tell the quality of the fish itself, or that...it has raw fish in it period. But if you like sushi and sashimi - fresh raw fish of the highest quality - this is not the place. The quality of the raw fish is very mediocre - acceptable, but nothing special. In fact Whole Foods probably has better quality raw fish in the sushi/sashimi box. That said, their uni - from Santa Barbara is very good and fresh.More
