The ambiance, service and food were spectacular. I've eaten at high end restaurants all over the United States, and portions of Europe and have never had a better meal than I had this evening at the Golden Steer. I hope that when I return in...the future, nothing will have changes.More

Ray knows Vegas; I had some friends take me to dinner for my birthday at the old school steakhouse a real throwback to Las Vegas. From the moment I walked in, I couldn't have felt more welcome. The host at the door, a young man,...was very friendly. I was waiting at the bar and had a Manhattan made just right. Our waiter was Humberto, very knowledgeable. Made an excellent suggestion for an appetizer. And the main entrees. Of course, you have to try the Caesar salad table-side made from scratch. The Entire staff top notch.More

Right off the strip on Sahara this little gem is Amazing. Old School Mob Vibe nice dark and Romantic. The staff was very knowledgeable about the restaurant and it's history. The Rat Pack hung out there after their sets in the 60's. Some booths have...names plates. The food and service was impeccable. The table side ceasar is so good. The steak was Amazing and the carrot cake is to die for. Can't wait to go back. Also, there is a ghost, friendly vibes. I felt it and they confirmed there is a ghost. My phone wasn't working properly and the lights flicker. Request a booth when dining for the full experience.More

The Golden Steer Steakhouse, the Vegas home of the "The Best Steaks On Earth". The professional staff suggested the Chateaubriand for Two entree, which we tried and it was wonderful. Great meal and dining experience.

It has been 10 years since my husband & I visited golden steer. The steaks were cooked to perfection. My sister joined us & she & I got the shrimp scampi. They use a cream based scampi, which wasn't really to our taste. But the...shrimps were good. The service is impeccable. The prices were along the line of, if you have to ask, you can't afford it. So maybe in 10 years we'll be able to afford it again.More

My husband and i spent our 25th Anniversary at the Golden Steer Steakhouse and had a perfect time. The steaks were the best i have ever had and the atmosphere was amazing, i felt like i was in a movie from the 50's. Kept hoping...to see Sinatra! The staff were extremely professional and made us feel like we were celebrity regulars. Best meal, best experience ever, by far! Thank you Golden Steer for giving us an unforgettable 25th Wedding Anniversary!More

Wow. We will not soon forget what a memorable dinner we had at the Golden Steer. From our friendly and knowledgeable team of dinning room attendants, to the rich history of the room itself we were floored by this off-strip gem. Old school Las Vegas...glamour and then some but in no way flashy or gaudy. Just a beautiful room of red leather booths, tuxedo clad waiters, perfect cocktails, the BEST Caesar salad of our lives!!!! And of course the steaks, melt in your mouth, seasoned and cooked to perfection. Ohh and did I forget to mention the “largest baked potato in Las Vegas”? Well believe it that sucker was a behemoth! We shared everything and by doing that the price was actually very reasonable for a restaurant of this caliber. This was truly a dinning experience not just an ordinary meal. I would plan a trip back to Vegas just to dine here again. Never change a thing!!!More

We wanted a special dinner to celebrate my husbands birthday. The atmosphere is fun with an old Vegas feel. We were thrilled with the staff and their attention to detail. The sommelier's suggestions were complimentary to the food. The food.... Wow! We ordered meatballs for...an appetizer. I've never tasted anything like them. They are made from top quality cuts of meat and seasoned to perfection. The the table side caesars salad disappointed no one. The steaks were excellent and the sides were large enough to share. Make sure you save room for dessert. The cherries jubilee was both a performance and deliciousMore

Went to the Golden Steer for dinner with some customers. When you walk in it's like stepping back into 1960--dark wood paneling, wall paper like Grandma used to have, and when you walk in you just know it is going to be good. They sat...us down and we ordered drinks, then some appetizers--the large shrimp cocktail is just what it is, and we ordered some calamari which was good too. Ordered our main course--everybody got the Ceasar salad that they make right at the table--probably the best Ceasar salad I ever had. (I had the bone in ribeye & it was very tender with great flavor) and then we ordered the sides which are served family style-creamed corn, creamed spinach, potatoes Lyonaise, and mac & cheese. By the time we got done with dinner, we didnt really have room for desert, but we ordered anyway! Cheesecake, Spumoni, and creme brulee which we all shared and none of it went to waste! The food was delicious and the wait staff are very attentive and helpful and provided us with a great dining experience. Would definately go again next time in Vegas.More

Some local friends suggested going to Golden Steer, we have tried a couple of times when I am town but never did not have the foresight to make reservations (highly recommend making reservations). Anyway, we finally made it for dinner this trip; it was great...steak ( best I have had in Vegas), I had the New York Strip and cream corn, I thought they were excellent. I saw several people getting the bananas foster and the the cherries jubilee, they looked really good (maybe next time!).More
