First of all, being a local, I frequent this restaurant often and it has been our MOST recommended restaurant in Vegas for our out-of-town friends for many years. We have always recommended it for many reasons: every woman receives a rose upon entering the establishment; classic Vegas ambiance; it's great bang-for-your-buck menu where entrees include bottled water, table-side salad service,... This is the second year my mother and I have returned to Hugo's Cellar. I love the nostalgic feeling you get here which seems like old time Las Vegas would have been. The service is excellent. The food is excellent. You should make a reservation because they are always booked out it seems. I would highly recommend.

My first trip here. 2/22/17. This place is great. David our waiter is amongst the best in Vegas. The whole staff was great. I don't drink much wine but the wine sommelier's knowledge and presentation was so well done I had to try his recommendation and loved it. The salad preparation on the cart next to the table was a... Fun, Excellent steak. Excellent service. Bartender doesn't mess around with his measures. Recommended by our taxi driver.

This restaurant was recommended by a man we met in the airport who lives in Vegas, so we thought, "Why not?" Four of us dined at Hugo's. The food was really not worth the prices, but the service was something you don't see every day. Salad was made table side as was the Bananas Foster. The vegetables were extremely overcooked... Start with a lower level darker restaurant, add a Maitre D who hands your loved one a red rose, table side salad, chocolate covered fruit, and a staff who has been there for 25+ years and you end up with the perfect old world Vegas experience. You are waiting for Frankie and Dean to walk in. If you are younger... More

My husband has been dying to try beef wellington. We were lucky and got right in on Saturday when they opened. Usually teservations are suggested because this place does pack out (1/2 way through our meal the place was already filling up). We both orderes the beef wellington and it was delicous! The reataurants wait staff was extremely fast and... More

Good food, good service...very old school. Pricey but you get a rose, bread, tableside salad to order, intermezzo, veggies and potatoes/rice, chocolate covered fruit with your entree. Fremont experience is a different side of Vegas which is a cross between Bourbon Street and the Boardwalk.

Hugo's is as good as advertised and it's definitely worth a visit while in Vegas. The ambience is old Vegas and really enjoyable. All of the waitstaff did a remarkable job and were very attentive to our table. I had the ribeye and my wife had the lobster bisque. We both also had the table side salad and it was... More

I was in Las Vegas for CES, staying at a hotel downtown, and I did not have a dinner reservation. I called and the maitre d' said he would find me a spot. I was promptly seated and served the best Manhattan ever. The salad was prepared in front of my table. Then, my main course was served: Sea Scallops... More
