Location and contact

This intimate, small trattoria has the spirit and the charm you would find on Italy and other countries off the coast of the Mediterranean Sea. The Chef Daniele Dotti, a native of Venice, has created an eclectic menu that brings to the table the flavors, the traditional recipes and the freshness of ingredients so typical of this region. Our Mediterranean Sea Bass is delicious but if you are in the mood for good pasta try our Linguine Mare Nostrum with a variety of sea food and fresh tomato or our special house made fresh pasta Fettucine Casanova. Now you can enjoy all of this right in the middle of the Grand Canal Shoppes, just a few feet away from Italian gondolas. The atmosphere and the decor

Super crowded, our party of 8 was ignored and ended up with 2 or 3 servers. They couldn't wait for our table for more guests. Food was average, but nicely presented. None of us had a good experience that night.

... Mediterranean would be a better description as the menu is basically a mix of Italian and Greek. But that's not a bad thing. My party was in a bit of a hurry as this was a pre-show dinner, so we ordered pita and dip...More

I had one of the best spaghetti carbonara I have ever had while I was at Casanova. The food was fresh, hot and service was quick. They have a nice wine menu and cocktails in addition to beers. I would go back for sure!

We were wanting a restaurant that would be easy for a large group to get into and provide atmosphere for every one to talk without the noise of some of the larger restaurants. Casanova was perfect for that. We were surprised with how good the...More
