This is my favorite Curry Zen location because of the large dining area and great service. You may see long wait times when dining here in the evening. Stopped by with some family on a Monday evening. We ordered everything from the takoyaki, Katsu- don, chicken and pork curry with cheese. The don and takoyaki are must orders if you like those dishes. The takoyaki came out piping hot and had plenty of flavor. The don was filled to the top with plenty of fried pork with a side of gravy that you could pour over. The currys here are delicious. Rich in flavor and perfect with any fried meat. Highly recommend getting any spice level between 3-7 just so you get some heat and added seasoning. They have a great drink selection here as well. This is a great place to come for some authentic Japanese curry. The location is really clean and the staff know the menu very well. If you aren't a fan of spices definitely order any level below 2. Parking can be tight, but if you can't find any theres some on the side street as well.

My absolute go to when I come to Vegas. Before I even check into my room, I make sure to come here. Most places that I go to, do not give me the option to choose spice level. Well, 1-10, where are you at? Make some time, come here.

It's just as delicious as the curry we eat at a Japanese curry restaurant!
It comes with Fukujin pickles and rakkyo too. The fried chicken was also delicious.
まさに日本のカレー屋さんで食べるカレーみたいに、とっても美味しいですよ~!
福神漬けやらっきょも付いてきました!唐揚げもおいしかったです。

Was really hopeful this curry would be like Japanese curry. Not so much. I had chicken katsu which tasted a little freezer burnt. Prices were good and staff are friendly. Curry was “just okay.”

Small place off the beaten path and thats why its great. Been here a couple days and have already eaten there enough to easily make my way up the spice level. Level 5 was good but 6 is about perfect. Just enough bite enhancing the food. All of the dishes are perfect even the tofu. The salad and nam bread are delicious. Make sure you save some of the bread to soak up whats left on the plate. Most definitely will return.

Small, comfortable, always friendly service. Food is consistently good. I do not even like the sound of "curry" but Japanese curry is a whole different blend of about 18 spices. You can have it as mild or spicy as you would like. I always get mild and love the flavor. Appetizers good. I usually get the tofu or else a bowl. Casual, clean and very affordable.

I come here on different occasions with my girlfriend, who introduced me to Curry Zen. I always get the chicken Katsu with a level 3-4 spice upgrade. It’s 9.95 for this but every now and then I’ll add vegetables for 2 dollars more. The serving is in comparison to a large at most restaurants. You definitely get your money worth here! This is Japanese curry so don’t expect it to be soupy. It’s a thicker texture.

Really really good Japanese style curry. Rich thick sauce and flavorful and thick. Spice level adjusted to your taste. Multigrain rice available which is rare in Vegas. The curry pan is really good too. Small restaurant, small menu, but that's the way it should be. Know everything is fresh. 5****

Careful. The curry can be overwhelmingly spicy hot. A level five knocked my sockets off. I recommend spice level 2-3. Great place.

Ever since I had Japanese curry for the first time last year in Tokyo, I've been on the hunt for the real deal here in the USA. I stumbled upon this little gem while we were in Vegas for a concert and decided to give it a try. So so good and I dare say, just as good as the ones I had in Japan. We started with the takoyaki and they were better than the ones I had on the streets of Tokyo. For the main course, I had the chicken katsu with cheese and corn at a spice level of 7. Delicious! However, I'd do a couple of things differently next time. I would order the cheese on the side. They give you a LOT of cheese so I applaud them for not skimping but it was just a bit too much for me. Second, I would dial my spice level down to a 5. The 7 was good but it was burning my mouth and I do like spicy. My fault, not theirs. All in all, this is the best Japanese curry I've had next to going back to Japan.

I’ve been here enough to attest to the consistently high quality and truly authentic texture and flavor of the menu items. Pork katsu curry. Gyoza. Takoyaki.

After 3 years I am still coming back here to enjoy some of the best Katsu curry in Las Vegas! I have tried a number of dishes including chicken Katsu curry, fried tofu curry, fried spam curry, yakisoba and yaki udon.
Your Katsu order comes with white rice and you can choose brown rice for a healthier option. They also have smaller sizes if you just want a single portion (perfect for lunch for 1).
With your order you can also customize the spice level to fit your tastes. I usually order 5-7 which is pretty spicy. If you are not used to spicy curry sauce I would recommend starting at level 3 and go up from there. You can also get a number of toppings to customize your order even more including: corn, cheese, boiled or fried egg, steamed or fried tofu, spam, spinach, vegetables and a variety of meats.
Thank you Curry Zen for continuing to produce great meals for all of us Katsu Curry lovers!
