I rarely eat at normal mealtimes, so Pop Up is perfect for me - no crowds but always hot by the piece pizza and knots. I grew up in Rome (NY, that is) and my only wish would be for more fresh garlic in slightly...more tomato sauce on my pizza, but that is personal preference. Not your usual cafe or deli, but just right, off to the side for lunch or quick bite . Clean fixtures, friendly staff, fast service, old fashioned neighborhood type establishment, I recommend to everyone.More
The pizza and employees have changed drastically! Located inside The Plaza Hotel and Casino, Pop Up Pizza was always a must stop for us when downtown. Its been quite some time since our last visit to downtown but on Wednesday (1/15/20) around 11pm we stopped...for pizza and boy what a huge disappointment. They had 5 different pizzas out to choose from and all but the cheese looked really old (first sign we should have walked away!) so we got cheese slices. The guy who heated the slices burnt the crap out of them (not just charred BURNT!) I was really shocked that this was presented to us. My husband wanted to ask for different slices but I said don't bother since the guy was willing to give us inedible pizza in the first place, he obviously doesn't care and it sure looked like the other employees behind the counter didn't care either. So we tossed it and went down the street to another favorite pizza place who doesn't have miserable employees and would never offer a customer burnt pizza let alone have old wilted pizza on display.
Are you kidding me ? I was having a hunger attack and needed to eat soon . Everyone has been this way before . I left my room and went to leave and seen this pizza place ? Oh so you make pizza and warm...it up ? Ok as I’m dying for some food and the veggie pizza actually looked good . I swear to god it was black when it came out . Everything including the crust was burnt . I picked the burnt veggies off my pizza and ate some of the crust in the middle . I just paid like $6 fir a slice of nothing but I had to eat . It would have been better if I just got sick . I have no clue where they come up with the best pizza in Vegas ? Nobody must serve pizza if this place is number one .More
Staying at the Plaza and happily used my coupon to check this place out. After a late night, we enjoyed the pizza and the employees were very nice. A really tasty thin crust pizza with wonderful flavors, was definitely worth eating here. Next time at...the Plaza will be coming back here, it was well worth it.More

I stayed at The Plaza for roughly 2 weeks recently, swopped here to eat a dozen times, at least. Cash or credit accepted here, that's the extent of their acceptable forms of payment. Best Place to go for late night food, relaxing atmosphere, and workers all nice, sincerely cool people. Something you don't see very often in Vegas these days.
