We were visiting my sister and brother in law in Vegas and they recommended Saffron. Since her husband is an executive chef and I know nothing about the restaurants in Vegas, we were more than happy to follow their recommendation. We started out with a couple of vegetable samosas, bullet Naan, and garlic Naan. Our entrees were Gobi Mattar (spicy #4), Chicken Tikki Masala (spicy #3), Chicken Vindaloo (spicy #6), and Goan Fish Curry (spicy #3). All were excellent! The food was served family style so we could try the different dishes. There was even enough left over to take home.

My husband and I are frequently in Vegas for business, and we ALWAYS eat here because it's just SO GOOD! We are vegans, so we feel like we hit the jack-pot! Their Chana Masala is my favorite, while my husband usually orders their Dom Biryani. The portions are huge! We LOVE their Samosas and garlic naan. The people are very friendly and the food is always hot and very tasty! I highly recommend Saffron Flavors of India.

Customer for a long time. Every time I order, I see the prices creep up! Same food, higher prices. Quality not as good as the early days. The food is still good, but is it worth the inflated prices??? I don’t think so. The problem is there isn’t another “Indian” restaurant in the neighborhood. This allows the owner to continually raise prices and not deliver good customer service. Think about these things, next time you order.

This was the WORST customer service experience I've had in Las Vegas. I ordered via Google which is automatically PostMates. Though PostMates listed my order as ready for pick up, it wasn't when I arrive. I waited for 30 minutes with the only information received from employees being "your order is still being processed." I was patient while THREE order numbers beyond mine were picked up. The last straw was watching a woman come in and ask for a table to be told she needed a reservation because they were busy. About five minutes later, a man came in wanting a table without a reservation. The first response was he'd have to wait. When he said he was from Arizona, the man behind the bar said there was a cancellation and the out-of towner could be seated!!! This is the same man who told the woman before that she needed a reservation. That was it for me. I asked for a refund, but because I ordered online, I was told Saffron would not process the cancellation. I've been on hold with PostMates for more than 2 hours to rectify the possibly sexist service of this establishment! No one ever offered an explanation for my delay (like, "we're waiting on your tandoori chicken; it should be ready in about 10 minutes") or even an apology!
Needless to say, I will never go back. Single women, you might need to bring a man with you if you want to be served

We ordered dinner and the food wasn't great at all. We had 4 different plates and none of them were good. They gave us only one rice for 4 curry dishes anyway that's not even the point. The sauces were so liquid we weren't sure if we were eating a sauce or a soup. Flavors weren't there and I love Indian food so much. Since we moved to this side of town this place was the closest Indian restaurant we made few attempts and were disappointed every single time. Saffron Flavors of India has now became the least favorite Indian restaurant we had in Las Vegas. I will not return and will not recommend. I don't mind paying the price if quality is there but that's not the case in their restaurant.

This is our second time experiencing Saffron. We now try to eat here when in Las Vegas. Such a treat!
The staff is very helpful when choosing your dishes. And they were very attentive during the meal.
This restaurant lets you choose the level of spice. That is really cool.
Also, I have to eat gluten free. There were so many choices.
Highly recommend to any and everyone.

Went back here for lunch with a friend after several years and it was still good. I had the lamb vindaloo and my friend had the hakka chicken and we shared an order of naan. Both of us enjoyed our food.
Staff was helpful and attentive.

My wife and I were looking forward to some good Indian food while we were in Vegas. Would never come back here. The owner was rude and the place smelled like bug spray

Figured we would try a new restaurant in the area and decided to give Saffron a shot based on the reviews. Used their website to order takeout - Beef Curry, Chicken Noodles, and Spring Rolls. Shortly after placing my order I called to confirm with the young man who answered the phone. Asked him about spice levels and he said they would make sure to include some extra spicy chutney on the side since my wife and I like different levels. Showed up for pickup 20 min later and manager called me while in parking lot. Said they no longer serve ANY beef curry (not out, just no longer serve it) and the website is not updated. He offered lamb and I explained to him my wife doesn't like lamb. We agreed on half the order lamb and half the order chicken. Picked up, arrived home, and its lamb and chicken mixed in the same curry... I guess we are supposed to pick the meats out and sort them for ourselves individually after you already accepted my order and I paid for it online!? I called and asked the manager why he couldn't split the portion in two I had agreed to on the phone, and he said "we can't do that because it's extra LABOR costs!!" LOLOL.... Wow.... REALLY?!?! On TOP of that, there was no side of rice which is supposed to come with the curry per the person taking orders, and NO spiced chutney as I had requested....
On to the quality/flavor of the food we did recieve - The Naan was the highlight, the Curry was flavorless, and the chicken noodles were ABSOLUTELY INEDIBLE.... No Kidding... I was at least hoping that the food would be worth the hassle.... I can only assume that somthing has had to happen to the cook(s) or freshness of ingredients since these positive reviews here (and I notice most are for several months back). Total Fail in regards to customer service, half the order was completely inedible (no kidding here, it was actually terrible and couldn't be eaten, not trying to be a jerk), incomplete menu (no beef, huh?), and a complete lack of professional management....
No wonder when I walked in on a Sat night the place was a ghost town. Too many other QUALITY Indian restaurants in town, this manager needs to go, and if he's the owner - Good Luck to the staff!

This was a worst customer service I seen in my life... They can’t bring items in timely fashion and when they do they just leave it there, if I had ordered 8 Item and 3 look same, they should say something. When they are asked we get an idk. Food is well below an average and they don’t have customer service. If you tell them something you get argued with. ABSOLUTELY WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Forgive me for not knowing the names of the items we ordered. Indian food is not on my regular dining rotation.
We started with a Samosa appetizer. We got two (I expected more). My wife loved it. For me it was just so-so.
For the main course my wife loved her curry dish. She was very enthusiastic. I had some sort of tandoori sampler. It was just a collection of various meat. It was pretty boring and mostly overcooked.
The service was attentive and they seemed to know what they were talking about. The ambience inside was a bit stark. It felt like they could have filled it up with more tables.

Have been here a few times and it has been consistently good. I had the lamb vindaloo and it was perfectly spiced and very tasty. The naan is also great. Service was attentive.

The Mrs and I enjoyed our meal at Saffron Flavors of India very much, but I'd have to stop short of saying it's really great cuisine. Maybe we're spoiled by all the years previously living in SoCal, where there are a number of outstanding places. Vegas in general seems to be lacking topnotch Indian food. But nonetheless this spot is pretty good.
We started with sharing a veggie samosa appetizer. Since they come two to a plate, there was no problem sharing. I have to say this is one of the best samosas I've even had. Not greasy at all, rich in curry flavor, it really hit the spot. We then shared three dishes, Chicken Tikka Masala (I'll get to the spice level shortly), Potato & Pea Vindaloo, and Saag (spinach puree) Paneer. The only one we didn't really care for all that much was the Saag Paneer, which we thought was too soupy, altho the paneer (cheese) was good.
The masala dish was pretty tasty and quite spicy, even tho on the spice level of 1-10 with 10 being spiciest, we went with the suggested 4. Glad we listened to our server because that was just perfect from a heat level. I can't imagine what level 10 must be like!! LOL But it really was quite delish. The same with the Vindaloo, and that too is a bit spicy, but I'd give it a level 3 at most.
The dishes come with a nice amount of basmati rice and we also had a nice sized order of garlic naan. There was enough of all the items except the samosas to take home to enjoy the next day. Not sure why, but it seems Indian cuisine actually tastes better the next day when it has been reheated. I should also point out that service was fast and quite friendly.
All in all, a very nice, if slightly pricey dining experience, but the underwhelming Saag Paneer drops one star from the rating. That aside, we'll definitely be back.
