Not very good kerb appeal, but when you get inside, a lot different. Had the chicken tikka massala, and garlic naan, both of which were excellent. Not many in, so we didn't have to wait long for food, so can't comment how it would be...if very busy. Reasonable price...nothing like you would pay in the hotels. This is some of the best Indian food we have had, excellent spices and tastes. The service was good and they took care of us well. Highly recommend this place.
Nothing to write home about. Good base sauce for the butter chicken. Excellent naan. Floor was dirty, flies kept landing on food. Portions were big.
We went for lunch and they posted that no more buffet. I ordered a Thai sample platter. There is a photo of it in the menu. However, they served more food that what was shown in the photo. First came a plate of several kinds...of meats and fried veggies and one samosa (that was missing from the photo). Then came the main meal of several cups of food around a larger cup of rice. It was a mixture of veggies and meat; also naan and one desert. It was more food than I could eat, so I had some good leftovers the next day. The food tasted fine to me.More
They just re-opened yesterday May 15, and they haven't lost their touch. The tandoori chicken, sweet rice, chicken tikka masala and garlic naan were all worthy of the name Mount Everest! Got it to go. They even threw in some heavenly carrot pudding. Thanks guys!
Good food but not good service. If you are a clean freak then this is not for you. I went for dinner, their Biryani and naan is good but lamb curry was just OK. Need more server to come and engage with guests at least...once since we didn’t get ask for anything during our entire 1.3 hour. I had to ask for napkin, dinner plate and such. If they focus little bit more on service and cleaning it’ll be a great dining place since food is already good.More
The buffet at Mt. Everest was average at best. The variety of dishes was limited and the usual distinctive Indian flavor were missing from most. We arrived after 1 PM and the buffet was schedule until 3 PM but we did not see any restocking...of the buffet. If you arrived late, you likely did not get a few dishes. The servers never provided "hot chile" that we requested. This was our second visit to this restaurant with similar results. Will not be back.More
This was our 1st visit . We were the 1st customer at 5 pm after their buffet time .They did not show any facial expression or any greetings when we enter to the restaurants . The foods we ate were on average standard and restaurant...was clean. They need to learn how to greet and attract customers. They also need to be on clean and nice attire . ThanksMore
Wife was craving Indian food while in Vegas. Decided to try this place based on reviews and proximity to our hotel. When we got there tbe outside was kind of dark so we weren't sure if it was open. Looked inside and saw some Indian...people eating so decided to take a chance. We shared a vegetable samosa appetizer which was tasty and Poori bread which was light and puffy like we expected. My wife had the chicken kotma and i had the chicken curry which were very good. The wait staff were very nice but the inside of the restaurant was a little dark.More
I read a few of the other recent reviews with some surprise. It's true there is not a massive selection like the buffets at the casinos. But they have one whole section of veg - probably 8 or 10 different dishes. Then maybe a half-dozen...more that have meat. Everything is tasty. I agree that the people running it and working are not the most outgoing and friendly - but that may just be cultural or maybe they are just working hard. They take good care of you. We go here a lot - we have a few favorite places we go for Indian, but we end up back here most of the time. Sure, it's not a five star place but I've never found it to be not clean or up to my standards.More
I found a this place to be over rated, it was not the worst ever, some things were okay but not a huge selection of things. The staff is very unfriendly and there was a hair of my plate that I got on the buffet...and it was not mine. The bread was great, but it ended there. The place is not the most uplifting atmosphere in the world either, a little depressing.More
This restaurant looks pretty old, the service is so/so. Looks to be run by a family or students. Not a very hygienic place and food is not that good. You would be better off heating up frozen Indian food.
Not much starter option, we went there after reading reviews but its not worth the money. Service was average even the option were limited missing the taste.
For several years, this place was my go-to Indian lunch buffet. Sure, the buffet menu was always the same, but it was delicious and filling. A year or two ago I noticed that the quality of the food & the service had declined. I don't...know why. If I never went here again, I would not miss the current quality of the food & service. Sometimes nostalgia overcomes me and I return, and then I remember why this place is no longer at the top of my list.More
Excellent cuisine. Naans were soft and tasty. Authentic recipes, well cooked I would go there again before my vacation ends.
