I've been here a few times. Sometimes it is great(juicy, flavorful, and quick). Other times it is less so(dry, bland, and long wait times) Either way, it is worth a try.

Tacos el Gordo is great! I have tried all of there taco meats and they are all fantastic! Try the Carne Asada Fries too but keep in mind they are big enough to share between 3-5 people! When it is busy they run in three lines deoending on the meat you get, if you keep to that everyone is happier... More

Talk about excellent cheap eats - in Vegas! They throw thin cut STEAK on the grill for your tacos, tortillas are fresh and homemade (i.e., they will have been made within 15-20 minutes of you eating it), the salsa....O.M.G. I want the recipe. To Die For. Guac....fabulous. No cheese, folks, these are authentic tacos, not Americanized. Worth the wait. My... More

As a Texas boy who also lived in Mexico I give the place a 5. I loved the carne asada tacos so much that we went back a second day. We also got the al pastor tacos which were equally as good. My wife caught me eating and sent it to our family and friends on snapchat. The tacos are... More

We came here on a friend's recommendation. We stopped by for lunch around 12 noon. Lines to order tacos were long ,but it is very fast paced. I waited in line around 5min. Tacos are greasy and small. You get what you pay for. Tacos are around $2.50. I tried lengua, Bofe, Cabeza and Cesos. Tacos were ok, not that... More

This super casual place is a little bewildering to the Tacos el Gordo novice. There are different lines based on what you want to order, English seems to be used only as a communication means of last resort, and one has to juggle the food over to the cashier to pay. Once one figures out the routine and overcomes the... More

This place came highly recommended by a few locals. It was refreshing to walk in and have all the different aromas hit you at once versus taco bell lol. Good luck trying to pick only one taco! I needed at least 3! The fresh radishes and lines let you kno that they weren't messing around! This is the real deal!

All the food is very good. Service is good in general. The only thing is that people need to order everything at once. If you want something else, you have to get in line again.
