I had been at this restaurant a few years ago for a quick meal and enjoyed then. This time I got takeout. I placed the order and paid for it online. When I arrived everything was packed and ready to go. The order was accurate...and everything was very tasty. The low point was the spring rolls -- mushy filling. Quite enjoyed everything else, especially the orange chicken. Fried rice was a tad bland, but not bad. I would order from them again.More

My wife and I were guests of other family members. I had never heard of this place. And, the name suggests a cheap Chinese buffet. However, it is authentic Chinese (including Peking duck done right) with an emphasis on taste. Décor is spartan, but don't...be put off by it. All of the dishes were anything but ordinary. My favorite was the Ego noodles. I didn't even know what it was before this. It's one of my favorites now. Give this place a try if you're inclined toward Chinese. It's on Decatur but hard to spot. Parking is shared with many other businesses. It's a hole-in-the-wall.More

I have been eating at Food Express for years. It doesn't look like much, right beside a Subway in the parking lot of a flea market at Decatur and Oakey, but it's big on taste. The Mongolian beef is the best I've had in Las...Vegas and their lunch specials are an incredible value. The dining room is a bit outdated and small, but go there for lunch or takeout. It changed ownership a while back but the quality hasn't suffered. Definitely put this in your regular rotation.More

It’s always been great food but recently they’ve elevated their cuisine to a higher level. The place is cleaner, service is good, servers are helpful and the food is as good as it gets. Family thoroughly enjoyed the dinner!

As others have written this isn't fancy place. It's somewhat small restaurant. Parkiing is almost non-exxistant. All of this is true and the food makes up for everything. We wanted a change of pace while in Las Vegas on Business. We wanted Chinese food and...the reviews I found were for the most part favorable. We went there but oour Garmin GPS told us that this estsablishment was on the other side of the street from where it really is. The restaurant was packed when we arrived and we were the oonly occidentals in the whole place. The staff was pleasant and efficient despite the restaurant operating at absolutely full capacity. We ordered Moo Shu Pork, an appetizer, and sizzling rice chicken and seafood soup. This soup is spectacular. The broth in this soup is some of the best tasting stuff we have ever consumed. This soup is full of chicken, fish, shrimp, crab and squid. There is comparitively little rice in it. We will return here to get this soup again. The Moo Shu pork was OK. We were given the choice of them wrapping the pancakes or we could do it at the table. We let them do it. They are experts, we're amateurs. Overall this was and excellent dining experience and at a very reasonable price. We willlmost certainly eat here again the next time we are in Las Vegas.More

It's a hole in the wall, but really good food. NY style. U r better off going there, don't call on the phone, they r really rude and usually u have to wait for ever, then they hang up on you.

My girlfriends favorite Chinese place. I'm not sure what the crunchy noodle dish is, but it's crunchy, flavorful, and delicious. The shrimp are fresh, and they cook everything when you order, as opposed to flash frying to heat it up. I am NOT a fan...of fish tanks that are dirty, with miserable fish swimming and nothing else in them, no decorations or anything, which is one star off. The food, almost all of it, has the exact same texture, the exception being the aforementioned crunchy noodle dish, which is the other star I knocked off. I believe the delivery times are limited, and I'm more comfortable ordering person due to a slight language barrier. It's so close to home it's a quick drive. They are next to Subway, and parking right in front is limited, walking a short distance opens up the entire swap meet parking lot there, and it's not far at all.More

Terrific place. I asked local friends where they go and they said this place. I've been here 8 times now. Great Cantonese food. Period. 1/3 the cost of restaurants on the strip. I like their curry crab in the crackpot, baby bok choi, salt &...pepper pork, shrimp and seafood dishes.More
