They don't make restaurants like this anymore and it's a shame. The service is old school, attentive and first class, demanding you enjoy your dinner and have a dining experience. The food does not disappoint either. It is fresh and there is a lot of table side preparation. as much a show as a meal. Highly recommend

I moved to this area of Vegas/Henderson recently, and have been challenged to find outstanding restaurants. I have tried most restaurants at South Point, and while Michael's has the others beat, I still see room for improvement. Communication continues to be a challenge at South Point.

I've been enjoying Michael's for over 30 years and I can honestly say that it's as good today as it was 30 years ago. Simply the finest dining experience with first class service and food. Even the staff are familiar faces, some of whom I remember from those early days. Remarkable and appreciated. I highly recommend the Coquille St. Jacques...... More

It's been said before... This is true "Old School" dinning at it's best... with a true table captain to see that your every need is met! Oversized booths for side by side seating around the perimeter and similar oversized chair seating in the middle of the room all amply spread out, allowing for exquisite privacy, and a very reasonable, almost... The location at South Point South of the action may dissuade some, but don't let it! This is a version of the Michael's that used to be a hidden gem in the now gone Barbary Coast Casino. Anyone who knew that old one knows that this one at South Point keeps everything great about the old one and improves on... More

I had eaten here before and was expecting nothing but the best and they exceeded my expectations. I had several friends with me and we had to wait 2 hours until our reservation time and they wanted to cancel and go someplace else. After eating here they were so ecstatic that they waited. They can't wait until we can come... More

Fantastic food. Impeccable service. Can't wait to return. Salmon was unbelievable, desserts were scrumptious and the wine was not so bad, either

We were looking for an "old school" Vegas place for dinner and chose Michael's. It was about a 15 minute drive from the strip. This place does the job for old school Vegas. Wood paneling, velvety chairs and atmosphere. The service is excellent. The food is typical steakhouse. Women's menus are old school and don't have pricing on them (but... More

My husband and I took my parents out to celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary. There is no better restaurant than Michael's! By far an exceptional experience and very enjoyable with my family. The chateaubriand and filet mignon were absolutely amazing as well as the sides. We both split the bananas foster and we're very happy. Oh, did I mention the... More
