We enjoyed a fabulous meal that satisfied the vegetarians in our group as well as the carnivores. The Kashk o Bademanjan started was fabulous and enough for 4. The chicken and beef kabobs were very tasty. And the vegetarian stew was very satisfying. Try the...ground sumac on your rice, interesting flavor.More

We were vacationing and visiting family in Las Vegas.I did not know of any Persian cuisine in Las Vegas neither our family. I've googled Persian restaurant, to my surprised there were few restaurants popped up. Hafaz was one of the restaurant with the good review...popped up. We decided to give it a try. I'm glad we did. The food was absolutely delicious for the restaurant made food no comparison to home made. We ordered their family style for six people. The portion and prices is just right. The restaurant atmosphere I'll give it a 5 stars. the prices and portions, 4 stars. service 5 stars. The problem we had, their kabobs were not up to par which is the staples for Persian foods. That's the 3 stars for. After all we were there for a good Persian kabobs. We also tried their stew Fesenjan which is made of grounded Walnuts, Pomegranate molasses and Chicken. It was ok, their kabobs,Koobideh was extremely skinny and small and the barg (steak) and lamb kabobs were really tough pieces of meat. On and all it was not bad at all. We will definitely go back there next time we're in Las Vegas but I would try other Persian restaurant also.More

I went to Vegas to visit my friend. She suggested we try Hafez. Her mom ended up joining us. For all of us, it was our 1st time eating there. The waitstaff was friendly and explained the menu. We all had tea. I did not...detect any rose water added to the tea. It was good tea, but I would've preferred a little bit of rose water. We ordered the Mast O Moosir appetizer. I tried a little bit, and it was good. My friend and her mom ate most of it. The bread was really good; it's made at the restaurant. I decided to try the Vegetarian Gheymeh. It was good! I miss the beef flavor part of it, but since I don't eat beef anymore, this vegetarian version was pretty good. I would probably order it again, but I have other menu items I'd like to try first. My friend and her mom ordered Loobia Polo with 1 skewer each Koobideh and Chicken Koobideh. They liked it. I tried a bite of the Loobia Polo and a bite of the Chicken Koobideh. I liked it too. None of us had room for dessert. I liked the decor. The tables had poured resin in the middle that made it look like a river was flowing between the pieces of wood on either side. And the artwork was pleasant to look at.More

I lived in Iran in my youth and had been recommended to visit this restaurant by a friend. A great recommendation it was too. I chose Fesenjan which I remembered from my Iran days. It was absolutely delicious and the Saffron Ice cream I chose...for desert was to die for. Yum!!More
