We went there for dinner and drinks the first time right after we arrived and were exhausted. The food was really quite good. The drinks were unusual and I thought a little spendy. Tanya was our server that night, but they work as a team because both bartenders made sure every need was taken care of. Since we liked it... More

This place is huge, with funky decor and friendly servers. We lucked out and got there when there was no line up! The food was great, the price was fair and the ambiance was perfect!

Delicious food especially the guacamole. Painful prices as to be expected based on it's location. Not the best value. Friendly service, indoor & outdoor seating options. Nice view of the lazy river pool.

Food was good mex quality and menu was interesting. Priced accordingly though and thought mex restaurant in Luxor was better value and atmosphere.

Barely average food. We shared the plantain empanadas (low on taste and a sauce that did not really fit well) and a dish of pozole (again low on flavor and high on heat). I used to watch Ms. Milliken and Ms Feniger back in the day when they were on television cooking as Too Hot Tamales and that is the... More

For a similar price to a Vegas buffet, you can enjoy a variety of small plates for brunch on Saturday or Sunday. All of the food was fresh. Multiple gluten free options have been added. The service seemed a bit understaffed, though.

My husband order a steak in a Mexican Resturant..who does that! Oh my it is one of the best steaks I have ever tasted. The cookies and Milk for dessert was the show stopper. Our Waitress Gatsy was great and very informed on the menu. Will make a visit here again when in town.

The braised chicken tacos were really good. The server was nice she prefaced our meal with there's a shift change in the kitchen so don't expect everything to come out perfect. What?? She was right they forgot our sides. They did take them off our bill though when we asked. So I gave this an average.

Welcome to Border Grill, Las Vegas' destination restaurant overlooking the Lazy River just off Mandalay Beach, where Chefs Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger, Bravo's "Top Chef Masters" and Food Network's "Too Hot Tamales," want nothing more than to spice up your day. With two floors of patio dining, and a beautiful outdoor bar, it's the perfect setting for sipping margaritas and savoring the bold flavors of Mexico while enjoying views of the beach and pool. Border Grill Las Vegas is located in Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. There's so much to do at Mandalay Bay. The Shark Reef, right next door to the restaurant, features sharks of all kinds, as well as a slew of exotic, predatory marine life. Stop by for fish tacos after and have the last word in the food chain.
