Had lunch here while staying at the resort. The chips were delicious. The salsas were, unexpectedly, all mild. Thumbs up on the fish tacos. The sweet corn tamales were surprisingly very good. Posole was excellent. Jefe margarita was muy, muy grande. It took two of us.

My wife an I visited Las Vegas over a month ago, but I'm just now getting to food reviews from our trip. We consider ourselves foodies and reference TripAdvisor before and during our travels, with good success. We were very surprised at the food here. I judge my Mexican/Southwestern restaurants by how they do their Chile Relleno - it was... More

My wife and I decided to eat at the Border Grill. We walked from the Venetian to the Forum Shops. The restaurant was located next to the main entrance which made it very convenient. We purchased the Travelzoo special which entitled us to guac, an appetizer, 2 entrees and 2 alcoholic drinks. We order queso for the appetizer. My wife... More

So I went here this past weekend (Friday July 22). This place is Americanized Mexican food...which wasn't bad, but overpriced for "okay" Mexican food. Yes I know it's Vegas and inside of the Mandalay Bay...but I'm just saying. My enchiladas were great but my husband's chicken was kinda bland. We were already buzzing off alcohol, so I cannot comment on... More

I've visited this place twice now and have become a fan of their nachos. They are a little different in that the chips are soaked in a hot (but not too hot) sauce. My boys and I devoured them and went on to split the Churro Ice Cream Sandwich. Their house margarita is also a nice, simple margarita.

After visiting the aquarium, we stopped in for a bite to eat. The Peruvian ceviche was fantastic. We ordered the ceviche trio, and the three of us all agreed the Peruvian was the best. Although we sat inside, on the way out we noticed the have a really nice patio. Mike was our waiter and he took exceptionally good care... More

I was attending a trade show at the Mandalay convention Center and needed a convenient location for an impromptu business lunch meeting. we arrived at about 12:30 pm and the restaurant was already filled. They told us there was a 40 minute wait for an inside table - but we could sit outside immediately. With temperatures around 109 degrees -... More

We stumbled on Border Grill mostly because of our need to eat before seeing a show in the Luxor. The meal was so good, and the server (Autumn D.) very attentive. The guacamole is not to be missed, and I had a salad made of heirloom tomatoes and peaches - so, so fresh and delicious! Every entree was prepared/served to... More

I've been to the flagship in Santa Monica many times. The Vegas location does not disappoint. It's a bit of a walk in Mandalay Bay property. Offers a poolside view if one so desires. We hit BG just before closing on a Thursday night. Knock your socks off cocktails and just plain awesome apps and main course. Can't go wrong... More

Description
Welcome to Border Grill, Las Vegas' destination restaurant overlooking the Lazy River just off Mandalay Beach, where Chefs Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger, Bravo's "Top Chef Masters" and Food Network's "Too Hot Tamales," want nothing more than to spice up your day. With two floors of patio dining, and a beautiful outdoor bar, it's the perfect setting for sipping margaritas and savoring the bold flavors of Mexico while enjoying views of the beach and pool. Border Grill Las Vegas is located in Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. There's so much to do at Mandalay Bay. The Shark Reef, right next door to the restaurant, features sharks of all kinds, as well as a slew of exotic, predatory marine life. Stop by for fish tacos after and have the last word in the food chain.
