So I just got off the phone with Courtney in the group party reservation dept. I have a reservation for 19 people next week and we have a signed agreement for a $2000.00 minimum payment. Yesterday, I got an email saying that due to Covid,...Lotus of Siam was going to raise the minimum to $2500.00. What? I asked Courtney about this and she said due to Covid they had to raise their prices. Now mind you last year when I booked the room, I had to buy 20 crappy t shirts to make their 2500.00 minimum. I explained this to Courtney and like a broken record she said it was due to Covid. I am not at the last moment looking for a place to host my large party because Lotus of Siam moved the goal post on meMore

Overall a solid Thai cuisine. Tasty, original though not a revelation. Overprised imho. Would make a good lunch spot if not for the price.

We chose this restaurant because my dad watched a review from some guy on YouTube. No offense, but some of the things the guy did in the video made me question whether he knew what good Thai food was. But, they had kao soi on...the menu, which is very hard to find in most Thai restaurants. I had never had it before but my husband absolutely loves this dish. He said it was very good but not as good as the one he always ordered when we lived in California. The three people in our party all ordered it and we were totally satisfied. We also ordered some crabcakes. The flavors were good but the texture was very offputting, like a chicken nugget... My dad and husband had the stuffed chicken drumsticks. They said it was good but would probably try a different appetizer next time. Overall, we had a pleasant experience and left satisfied. The service was terrific. We called for a reservation about an hour before we wanted to go on a Thursday night and got right in.More

We'd heard so much about this restaurant and we loveThai food so were really looking forward to our dinner. We made a reservation and because the restaurant kept sending us messages warning us not to be late or they would not hold our table, we...decided to go early and have a drink at the bar. That, however, was not allowed as they were using it to serve dinner and observing social distancing! Nothing to do, but stand around for half and hour. Boo. The meal started off ok with a good pork sate, but the Crispy Duck and Deep Fried Snapper were a disaster. The Snapper was over cooked and inedible and the Crispy Duck wasn't. One of the worst Thai restaurants I've ever eaten in. Not recommended.More

We love Thai food having lived in S E Asia for many years. Lotus of Siam gets rave reviews and was one of the reasons for our trip to Vegas was to try their food. The evening did not start well as we arrived early...intending to have a drink before dinner, but were not allowed in the bar area, which was huge and had 3 people in it; so had to stand in the lobby for 20-25 mins before we got our table! They only have 1 type of Thai beer - Chang - which is OK but would have been nice to see some of the other great Thai beers. We started with Pork Sate and Mee Krob, with the Sate sauce being truly authentic, super. The Mee Krob was OK, but not spicy and tangy enough. We then went to have the Crispy Duck - northern style - and Deep Fried Red Snapper. The Snapper was so over cooked our server had to hack it apart - it was like eating fishy cardboard. In hind site we should have sent it back as it cost $45!! The Crispy Duck was not crispy and had a lot of fat and bones. The sauce and flavour was good - very rich from the coconut milk. The service was good and the wait staff were lovely. We were so disappointed as we had been looking forward to this meal for some time.More

I read many great reviews of this place which always makes me skeptical. But those people were right! Since moving here last year I have been on a mission to find the best Thai food in the valley. I may have found it. The atmosphere...as well as the food are top notch. Although from the outside one might think "what a dump". they do need to clean up the parking lot and replace the window in front. The well informed server helped me with vegetarian and non-deep fried choices. (there were mostly deep fried items on the appetizer list). I ordered the dumplings which they offered to stream instead of deep fry. The Tom Kha soup by far the best I've ever had was tart with lime, chock full of veggies and delightfully coconutty. Pad Thai which is usually my go to order the first visit to any new Thai was great as well. Highly recommend this place!More

James Beard award winning restaurant, and supposedly the best Thai restaurant in the country... I guess I was slightly underwhelmed. Although we didn't order their famous duck dish, we did have staple Thai dishes like the Penang curry and Drunken Noodle... nothing too impressive to...write home about. The drunken noodle was heavily drenched in sauce which we appreciated, but the actual thick rice noodles were crumbled into mush balls..? Delicious, but I feel I've had better in Portland, OR. Still worth a 1st try though.More

Stopped in looking for garlic noodles and shrimp. I read a review but it was talking about garlic shrimp and the best they ever ate! I was a party of one. I asked the young man if the shrimp was good. He said its the...most requested. Fast forward 5 mins and my bowl of garlic shrimp with the body was attached on the shrimp. I was not aware of what was going to happen next. He advised me to eat the shell. “Sure?” Well I did and WOW they were AMAZING! Soft crunch shells with tender meat inside plus a side of rice. I had a cup of ginger tea. Thank you for the recommendation! Next to me there was a cute couple having a wondering time and she kept complimenting her food to her date. The music was light. The restaurants seemed to be liked by locals and I would love to come back again.More

I heard about Lotus of Siam in LV many years ago on some cooking show. I was intrigued back then. Yesterday I had the opportunity to try it out. And WOW! I was so impressed. The service and ambiance were fantastic, even in times of...COVID19. But the food was just spectacular. The Koi Soi was outstanding! I had never found this dish in any Thai place, anywhere in the US. The sticky rice was the best prepared in my experience. The soups were spectacular and the condiments right on. I would say that this is the best Thai restaurant I've ever been to.More

I believe the menu is listed on their website. I felt their apps were very generously portioned.
