As frequent guests of the Hyatt and this restaurant since 1984 we have enjoyed it over the years and watched it transform to its present excellent state. You enter and either take the stairs or the elevator down to the main dining floor area. It has a magnificent view of the lake. The service is VERY attentive. The food is... More

Excellent steaks though fairly pricey and dinner entrees are ala carte so all additions (potatoes, mushrooms, etc) are extra $$. Excellent atmosphere on Lake Tahoe.

Searched for the top scenic view restaurants in Lake Tahoe & Long Eagle was the one we decided to dine at while in the area. So glad we did, it was superb. Started with a bottle of Malbec, their Caesar salad, then had the seared barmundi fillet which was prepared perfectly. After our meal we enjoyed their special Almond Joy... More

We stopped bye after a long day hiking. The beet salad and kale salad were both excellent, the bison burger "was the best I've had " and the pizza was very tasty. Great beer selection and atmosphere and lake Tahoe views, at the bar rounded out an overall excellent experience by the 4 of us... enjoy.

We weren't really hungry, but really wanting a drink to enjoy with the sunset. They have a wide variety of wine selections as well as single malt whiskies. We foraged on their appetizers. Had a beet salad, Dungeness crab cakes and ordered a pizza with half Genoa salami and half Italian sausage. All were outstanding and tasted like a masterful... More

Had a family lunch on the outdoor patio and then came for drinks twice at the end of the evening. We had hoped for more. Maybe the best part of the experience was the view. Food was fine service good have been better especially especially when sitting outside for drinks. Don't think lunch or drinks were worth the price.

Dinner was AMAZING. The sun was setting on the lake and we had a window seat. We ordered cocktails and then wine and everything was lovely. Our meals ranged from fresh, wild caught fish to Elk and Bison. Every person thought their food was perfect. Service was equally perfect.

Such a great view from their patio - it's right on the beach! Their food was also really great, and we recommend the mussels as an appetizer.
