First time here - sit down service was quick and friendly. Ordered 2 lunch specials ($9.95 each). Lunch served in “take out” containers, but portions were huge. Prior to our lunch entrees we were served soup - with very little flavor. We were only able to eat about half of our lunches - and had the rest for dinner. Good value

The owner has a second restaurant on Bicentennial Parkway, which is a sit down restaurant, but the prices are slightly higher. This place is more for to go orders as all dishes are served in a styrofoam container. The lunch specials (served 11am to 4 pm) are between $7.25 to $7.75 for one entree with a side of rice or fried rice and chow mein noodles. Entrees include kung pao chicken, shrimp with broccoli, fish filet in black bean sauce, etc. Soup is included if eating in.

Take out only because its not particularly comfy or inviting to eat there. Food is ok but they cheap out on the details like plates, silverware, watering down the hoisin sauce for the mu shu, etc. Its all in the little details and that is where China Tango flops.

Searching for good Chinese at a reasonable price. My husband and I thought the food was terrible. Beef was over-marinated and had a rubbery taste. The fried rice dish was also one of the worst I have ever had. My grandson did like his noodles which was the only thing that was edible.

Please don't get confused with this location and the one on Bicentennial Pkwy, also in Henderson. That location is GREAT, THIS ONE IS AWFUL.
First of all, it's like eating at a food court, in a shopping mall.
All food and drinks are served on or in very small paper plates & cups, with plastic silverware.
No glass dishes, cups, or glasses, Zero, Zilch, Zippo
Soup comes in a plastic container that you would get for take out.
Soup bowls are very small paper cup sized.
Bathroom had no soap in container.
Food was well prepared, ans tasteful.
I strongly do not recommend eating in this location, take out would be okay .

Large servings at reasonable prices. Served in carryout containers. Honey walnut shrimp a hit, and seafood soup. One of my cousin's favorite places.

Ginger beef was quite good. Hong kong chow mein and fried rice were good as well. Bad news is food is served on styrofoam and seating is very limited. Zero atmosphere. Good for carryout or delivery.

I've only been in for lunch and as the portion sizes are legit, claim I'll have the other half for dinner. Not. It's so tasty, I find myself waddling out after devouring the portion. Priced very well for the reward. (Psssssst....better taste and value than another similar fast food spot usually located in supermarkets.)

For quick, easy, affordable Chinese takeout... this place does it well. Not sure how others can complain about a $6 lunch. Big portions, lots of flavor. Service...not very friendly but not overly rude either. Way better than any of their competing chain restaurants.

We order take out from China Tango at least once a month! They usually ask how many people we are feeding since we order so much. It is usually enough for at least three meals. The food seems very fresh and is tasty.

Takeout service was fast. Seafood usually translates to artificial crab meat. THEY don't even know what it consists of... Egg foo young should consist of patties deep fried and covered with a tasty gravy. Theirs is this flat (1/8 inch) slab cut into pieces. A golden gravy on the side. UGH. Hot & sour soup advertised as seafood contains artificial crab meat and two shrimp. Crab Rangoon contains - wait for it - artificial crabmeat. Doesn't say anything about that on the menu. Not impressed at all. Overpriced. Food lying on kitchen floor. Where is the Health Department?

I recently went for lunch at China Tango in Henderson, NV. As a New Yorker, I am very skeptical about any Chinese restaurant outside the NY tri-state area. Whether it's LA, Tucson or Las Vegas, for some unknown reason, they just don't "get it." You can't get combo dinners - everything is overpriced ala carte... and the food just isn't the same. Oh.. don't ask for duck sauce - they will have no idea what you're talking about.
OK... As for China Tango, I had General Tso's chicken combo. The chicken was excellent. Their fried rice well, wasn't really "fried," but it did have some other ingredients in it. In NY, fried rice is darker in color and flavorful. I simply added a little soy sauce (just a tad because it's way too salty). I added the 2 eggrolls, well, what they call egg rolls are really funny-tasting spring rolls. Again, Chinese restaurants outside NY consider spring rolls as egg rolls.. and there IS a big difference. Plus, I like duck sauce with mine. I should have brought my own.
Aside from being a "snotty" New York Chinese food foodie (lol), I would highly recommend this place. The people were nice.. plenty of food - it's more a take-out with tables. They serve the food in to-go containers, which, at first, I didn't understand, but it was just fine.
The most important things about restaurants are costs and quantity. I spent 9.25 with drink, soup and spring rolls - including tax. Not "too bad" for 2014.

Quick and consistent service, late lunch also included soup and egg roll, but entrees ordered were not tasty nor well seasoned. First time visit and we'll try again some other time; just not impressed with quality of ingredients in either of our entrees.

Came here twice - as I was travelling for business. Yes you get styrofoam even when you dine in but the food was great value - $7.50 including tip for lunch with soup, water, fried rice and mongolian chicken. Definitely great value, so good I came back a couple days later, however the food a few days later wasn't so good sadly.
