We ate here after paddle boarding on Lake Las Vegas. Our food was all so good and the service was great. We ate outside and enjoyed the atmosphere.

We are staying a Lake Las Vegas and while we were wondering around the village, we found Sonrisa Grill. The waiter told us it was Taco Tuesday so of course we had tacos. They were great. You get your choice of pork, beef and chicken....Although all the tacos were good, we really Iove the pork tacos. He also suggested the Spicy Margaritas. They were very tasty and not to spicy. We liked them enough to have two each. We enjoyed our meal, the atmosphere and the service. We will definitely come back!More

We needed a mid afternoon snack and margaritas after a couple of hours of paddle boarding at Lake Las Vegas on a packed Saturday afternoon...the Sonria Grill took care of us.. Sonrisa Grill Ambiance & Service: Party of 6 with no reservations, Covid 50% capacity...and the amazing hostess was able to get us a table in under 10 minutes as promised. Mexican villa feel, multi-level dining area and a great view of Lake Las Vegas makes for a pleasant dining environment. There was a live DJ playing the tunes at lunch, awesome. Hugo was our server and he was fantastic. He was always checking on us and was uber friendly. We were chit chatting with him throughout our visit and it felt like he needed to be enjoying margaritas with us. Speaking of which... Sonrisa Margaritas: I went with two blended fruity margaritas with an extra shot in each.. Mango: The Fresh mango flavor made this easy to take down. Pineapple & Coconut: This was my favorite as it was deliciously fruity, blended perfectly so I could barely taste the tequila. I definitely felt it though. I tasted the BFFs red wine sangria and it was yummy and refreshing. Also dangerously delicious as I could barely taste the wine. Warm chips and salsa gets you started and we never ran out of chips. We split the chicken nachos and it was fantastic. The melted white queso really brought these nachos home when paired with the fresh chicken. Overall this was so rich in flavor that we didn't finish the plate. This might be the best plate of nachos I've had in a bit. After this experience, I'll definitely return one day for a full on meal. Sonrisa is a great stop for some great margaritas, excellent service and some good times. Cheers.More

Great Service. This place was so fun. I really liked the food. Went to one other Mexican restaurant while in town. It's a toss up to determine which one was the best. I liked both. Came during COVID. I really liked how the staff were...all wearing masks. People from another table were getting close to ours and the staff very politely asked them to step back to their own table. That was very thoughtful to keep the social distance at an appropriate level. I had their chimichanga. So yummy!More

This is a really good Tex-Mex restaurant. Authentic not hotel-ly. And we know Tex-Mex living in the southwest. Fajitas were great. Queso yummy. Kids loved it as well.

Joyful atmosphere with a great disc jockey and upbeat music to celebrate the Vida and great food and drink. Worth the wait. Masked servers with their excellent food and drink choices. A great place to realize how good life is.
