We chose this restaurant because we could walk to it from our motel after a long day's drive. I had the Pollo Asado which was good but the big hit was the Repollo, a cabbage, onion and cilantro slaw with lime. So refreshing, never had it before at a Mexican restaurant. I'll be making this at home!

Good Mexican food, in eastern Nevada, while overnight in Ely, NV. While food was tasty - the service was slow & staff not attentive. Few smiles & staff seemed bothered that we were there. We'd eat here again for the fold- but may try elsewhere for better service.

Good food and prices. They have a kids menu with good choices and are very kid friendly. Really enjoyed our dinner here and would definitely eat here again;

We had a great dinner while staying at the Ramada & Copper Queen. Great Grande Margarita and we'll prepared food. Excellent chili rel & enchiladas! Service was very friendly and fast. Will definitely visit again on our return trip home.

Busy night on a holiday weekend; our waitress was working hard but service was very slow. Clean bathrooms but the rest of the place was very dirty; debris strewn everywhere and filthy carpet. Substandard margarita. Delicious corn salsa, chicken mole, and chicken tostada though, so at least the food was good.

We usually eat here while passing through Ely, and they don't disappoint. Would not call this highly authentic, but you get what you expect, and it's always yummy. Their complementary slaw is excellent.

We stop at this great local Mexican restaurant every time we pass through Ely because of the consistently great food and service. I love the fresh warm chips and the cabbage salad that cones with them. They have an extensive menu and accommodate custom orders.

Nice people, easy to find with the best octopus dish I've ever had. Invented by the owner, cooked to perfection. Easily accommodates special dietary needs. My husband had traditional fare, and liked it almost as well as I did. They could improve their salsa, but the cabbage salsa/slaw was excellent

The people were very kind but the food was so spicy my family and I could not eat anything. We are used to eating spicy food but the raw peppers had us choking. Additionally the whole beans were not fully cooked and we're still hard and therefore inedible. Unfortunately, when we return to Ely we will not be returning to... More

Although a little stymied by some previous reviews, I elected to walk over from the Bristlecone Motel for lunch. They didn't bat an eye about my Girl (my service dog) and I was in between lunch and dinner, so I had the place to myself. My server was a beautiful young woman who loves dogs. She was professional, got my... More
