Oh my! I had a wonderful cultural experience. Never have I seen such beautiful people out eating breakfast! The lovely Indian lady with the real animal fur coat, the Ranchers with the big fancy cowboy hats and meticulously groomed beards and mustaches. The little girl...in a pink ball gown! The food was good but I loved all the people! Felt a little out of place with my vegetarian food and sweats! Definitely go here, all the locals do!More
We ate a wonderful breakfast, with excellent service. We were greeted by a friendly sever who brought us lots of coffee, took our orders quickly and correctly, and brought our amazing food promptly. All of the staff were happy and friendly. Best chicken fried steak...EVER. And grits! The pancakes and the home fried potatoes were delicious. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very clean and welcoming and the restrooms were clean and accessible. Don't pass by!!More
Really good sandwiches. The Coffee Mug is very comfortable. The staff is friendly, nice and efficient. The prices are reasonable.
My 2 favorite dishes are the Turkey sandwich and the soup and the wraps and their breakfast items I usually order lemonade

Never a cold, weak or empty cup here, with the friendliest service in Elko. The staff are a well oiled machine of hospitality and good cheer. I try something new weekly and am stuck on the scrumptious Popeye omelette, and my daughter loves the piled...high strawberry waffles. Our food is always hot and fast, even when we want to linger and relax through a slow breakfast. We've eaten in other places around town, but this is the best we've found. Great family restaurant. Good service and good food. Clean bathrooms. It seemed like a local hot spot, but there were plenty of tables available when we went for weekday breakfast.
Popped in to pick up breakfast to go and ended up tossing both meals immediately as styrofoam was melting into the food. Also, who uses styrofoam in 2022?? Maybe it was a one off experience, servers were super nice.

My friend and I stopped here twice passing through Elko on a road trip. Each time, we were greeted by friendly staff and seated immediately. Food was hearty with large portions, and we left satisfied. You could tell from the casual conversation between the staff...and the customers that locals frequent this place, which is always a good sign. Restrooms were clean and well looked after. Sucked Totally.No b/grvy! Service-0! Piss poor service..unless they knew you . Saw my waitress Once when she gave me a $13.00 bill for to undercooked flapjacks and a cup of hot cocoa. Never go there Again.

I always check TripAdvisor when traveling. This time Coffee Mug came up highly ranked. I can see why. My husband and I both got the prime rib and it was fantastic. Wonderful flavor and tender.
