Stopped here while traveling from Salt Lake to Reno. Not to far off I-80. Large selection of items. The basque style pork chops were delicious. The one pound burger was cooked well and huge! Portions were large and prices great. Waitress was attentive and food arrived quickly.

When the manager at our hotel told us there was a Basque restaurant in town, we were excited to try a new culinary experience. Unfortunately, this restaurant does not offer that kind of experience. Toki Ona is Basque in name only. Most of the menu is an odd assortment of mainly American dishes with other stuff sprinkled in (Quezadilla??). There... More

We both had their Basque baked lamb special with mint jelly for about $17 apiece. The lamb pieces, apparently back or neck, had not been deboned, so considerably “surgery” was required. Spicy red peppers were a nice touch on the lamb. Sides included chicken noodle soup, unimaginative iceberg lettuce salad, bread, flavorful spaghetti, vegetable flavored rice, fresh green beans and... Spending the night in Elko Nevada while on a trip elsewhere I dropped into Toki Ona thinking it might be a Japanese restaurant. It wasn't but, being tired, and hungry, a menu was soon in front of me. I decided to opt for lamb chops in the "Senior Meals" section. I was immediately served a large bowl of very good... More

I had been to a few Basque restaurants in California however my travel companions had not. I convinced them to try it and out of all the Basque restaurants in California Elko Nevada is the best you got to try the lamb

Excellent food and service. The staff was very attentive to our needs. It was very close to our motel.

I have traveled to Elko for 25 years and have eaten at Toki Ona at least 6 times. Each time I think I can find something good to eat. I don't know how this horrible place stays in business. Perhaps over-charging for horrible food keeps their doors open. Don't eat here!!!

Typical Nevada Basque food. Tons and tons of lackluster food full of calories. If you are a meat and potatoes person, like to eat until you're sick, and want 1950s still overcooked vegetables, then you should eat here. Lots of people like this food and that's cool. But don't think you're going to be getting real food in the tradition... More

Wonderful dinner, I was not expecting so much food. The Ana potatoes are delicious, everyone in our group ordered them.

I went with a client and he said we need the stake sandwich. He was right! Cooked to perfection, tender, juicy and full of flavor. I could only eat 1/2 and ate the rest for dinner and it was fabulous cold too! I would go back in a heartbeat. Service was prompt and very courteous .
