Great food. Good price. Specials every day of the week. Closed on Sunday's. Good steak sandwiches for lunch. Plenty of crab legs if you like them. Smaller building but good atmosphere. Owner operator.

My husband and I love going here. Though the booths are a little small, the food makes up for it. We absolutely love the spring rolls and the prime rib is amazing. If you have the money get the bone in though because you get about three times the meat than boneless. I love their mashed potatoes and and almost... More
Every time I visit Elko, I make it a point to have dinner at Machi's. If there ever was "your own personal corner pub" Machi's is it. Only they are also your own personal best restaurant. Get the prime rib. Enjoy the wonderful and personable waitstaff. Have a great time. If you don't, it really won't be their fault. Love... More
Rib's were terrible. Had to gnaw at them to get them off the bone, yuck. Another reviewer mentioned seeing the wait staff eating at the line in the kitchen. I too, saw my waitress in the kitchen standing and eating at the line as she waited. I remember thinking, "I hope she washes her hands," but then she was right... More
We came upon Machi' s by chance, and we're glad we did! Staff was great, food really good! We had the mussels and clams, and the penne pasta. Both were delicious. We would definitely recommend this place!
Machi's is in the downtown area of Elko and worth the search. Wide ranging menu...not much on the texmex, though; if you're looking for that drive another 100 yards down the street and you're good to go. Machi's is old style: long bar with wraparound table seating. Service was friendly, speedy even with a packed house.
Small restaurant that has outstanding lamb shank with polenta on wednesday nights. Probably the best dish I have had in Elko. If you plan on getting it you can reserve ahead of time since they do run out. Only complaint is that seating is limited and booth space is more suited for kids. All in all a decent restaurant.
Machi's is a fine bar and restaurant for any city, and a real surprise for anyone visiting Elko for the first time. The food is always good and the service is very good, too.
Had dinner here, and were well pleased with the quality of the food and the friendliness of the service. Great crisp salad and fresh bread. Very varied menu, with seafood, prime rib, and other items. We had their Mexican entrees which were nicely done. Good place to eat.
