Came here while staying in Elko a few days. It had high ratings and the person at the saddlery shop recommended it. Great food, very good service. House salad was flavorful. Lamb shank was tender and tasty. They were able to make the portabella raviolis with a white sauce instead of the red sauce, and it was really good. Looking forward to having our leftovers! COVID notes: They were doing pretty good following protocols. Servers wore masks, tables were fairly spaced apart, bar was off-limits. Snarky signs on the bar (about the ban) were kind of a disappointment.

The hotel host said this is one of her favorite places. It was a Friday night and the place was very busy. But the staff got us a table for two reasonably quickly. The special was Basque paella, with shellfish, ham, chicken, sausage, veggies and rice. We and the two underground miners next to us got the last 4 servings. We really enjoyed it and had the leftovers last night. The server was friendly and efficient, and the food was great. If we're in Elko we'll eat there again.

We tried the baby back ribs that were the daily special. They were cooked perfectly and the BBQ sauce was delicious, just the right combo of spicy and sweet. The ribs came with a green salad, rolls and a corn salad. The wine list offered a lot of choices and reasonable prices. And even though the restuarant was packed, the service was prompt and efficient.

People in bar were having a good time, but no social distancing and no masks. Our food was fine, but it was distracting to be so close to a large group of 30-40 year old's with no covid precautions. Large banner for Trump should have warned us when we entered, but ratings indicated good food.

In Elko for Cowboy Poetry Gathering and our schedules didn’t sync. Enjoyed lunch our last day in town. Very busy, but friendly hostess & waitress found us a spot. The Spicy Tomato Vegetable soup was so delicious. Will definitely stop in again

This restaurant was a chance find for us on the net. We read the menu and the special was paella, a no-brainer for us! We were curious about everything and the nice waitresses came by to tell us history and instructions for making the picon cocktail and details of the menu items. Later, the owner, John Lemish, stopped at our table to chat with us. We enjoyed great food, great atmosphere and wonderful company. We'll definitely eat here again whenever we come through Elko! By the way, they set a full table of silver and glassware. A first-class restaurant.

Nice decor. Casual dining. Ran out of the special, prime rib, at 8 pm. Short ribs were too pricy so had to settle for pasta. Menu heavy on pasta dishes and not much else. My wife and I had portabello ravioli which was very tasty. The salad was bland and wilted. No choice of dressing. The name of the place says grill, but I saw no dishes that would be grilled? I had a draft beer but it was in a room-temperature glass and room temperature beer. I did not ask for another.

This Restaurant is small but very mighty. It’s located in Elko’s downtown casino district. It’s got a nice size bar and plenty of seating. We tried their signature prime rib and I must say it’s one of the best that I’ve had in some time. Good size cut, well prepared, nice au jus, tasty mash and well-cooked vegetables. All that plus reasonably priced wine and thoughtful service. Oh yes! We loved Machi’s and should we return to Elko we’d eat there again. No question. Full disclosure, there was no social distancing and that cost them a star in this review.

TA brought us here. Thanks for that. Wife had Buffalo Wings and Sweet Potato Fries…she was very pleased. I had a Big Cheeseburger with Fries and it was very tasty. Fries were warm though and no condiments brought to the table. Enjoyed a cold Fat Tire with the meal. A must visit. Friendly hostess with a great tattoo and good service.

Co worker and I we starved after a very long day and saw Machi’s on Trip Advisor. Had the spaghetti and meat balls which were awesome and a great portion size. Dinner salad was very good. Bartender was great and would go back for sure.

Machi's is the real deal! The food was so delicious!!! I had a prime rib sandwich. The best prime rib I have ever had!!! Hubby had a sandwich called chock full of chicken in a pita pocket!!! Delicious!!! The garbanzo bean salad was superb! Ordered some to take with us! Great cocktails, wine & beer. For dessert we took the carrrot cake to go!!!! So yummy!!! We will definitely be back to this awesome establishment!!!!!

Still standing at the door waiting to be greeted, seated, acknowledged, anything, after 30 minutes 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️. Maybe there’s a reason that this is only my second time in more than thirty years trying this place, most likely my last.

Was on road trip saw Machi's in Elko, NV. We had the bone in prime rib. OH MAN, the best and biggest prime rib we have ever had! And we travel all over the USA and Canada. PERFECTION! Then the dessert, WARM CARROT CAKE! So amazingly delicious! I serving dinner at 5 pm when the waitresses get there. Also, they have a saloon where you can enjoy drinks until 5 pm. Atmosphere 100%, Service 100%, everything great!

While at Cowboy Poetry we barely beat the crowd to this dinner location in the heart of Elko. The place was jammed, but the service was so cheerful that nobody minded the wait, and the food was really good.

We had one night in Elko and looking for a place for dinner, the two lovely receptionists at our hotel recommended. Great choice. Big serves so we shared a few dishes- pork crackling, scampi, baby back ribs-Thursday special- chicken parmigiana, chicken wings. Came with side salads. Draft beers. Waitress was friendly, service good. Looked like a place for locals. Long bar area where groups were sitting and when people came in were saying hello when passing other tables.
