This is a very lovely Thai restaurant. The food is really good, the staff is very caring and each portion is beautifully presented. If you have been visiting the casino buffets - this is a wonderful, healthy change. Who would have known there are so many great places to eat in Carson City?

Very nice dinner. Good, spicy food, clean and friendly, worth finding this place. Spice tray came with dinner, and hot tea. At first the food did not seem like anything special but it definitely grew on us and we would eat here again. The staff was helpful, prices were reasonable and there was a wide variety of choices. I would... More

Enjoyed dining here, good service, good food. Love the green papaya salad, if they still have it. Nice owners.

We had lunch here & had an excellent meal. Both the crispy chicken dish & the salmon were well prepared & good flavor. Service was excellent.

We went to The Basil as Tripadvisor rated it the No.1 restaurant in Carson City. And they are right ! Foor was extremely good : I went for the rather classic fried rice with vegetables and chicken and enjoyed it until my plate was totally empty !

3 of us out-of-towers went here for an early dinner after all day meetings. One colleague had a good deal of experience with authentic Thai food and helped order a family style order of various entrees. The food and service was excellent and we are going to make sure we visit again when we are back in town.
